Down from a goddess is a nymph. Not immortal, but with a very long life. Mostly living in the nature, forests, fields, serving one of the gods. I learned this while doing my research for the Lily of the Valley perfume I created: Apollo, being grateful to his nymphs, made the lily of the valley little flowers, and covered with them the grounds, to protect the nymphs’ bare feet. I just loved the legend❤️

Hello Gabby ! Indeed I agree with your review. This is not your typical beachy scent. It is really well made and an easy one to wear. I got it for Spring and thought it would be really appropriate for Spring or Summer nights but indeed it could work all year long.
I wish the fragrance companies would make more frangipani perfumes with other notes. But am so glad Serge Lutens released this one ... now I have to get hold of a sample
