Made this body butter last week and I love it! I have very dry skin, but I'd much rather keep it that way than use "regular" body lotions, full with chemicals. Literally two days after using this butter, my skin went from flaky to baby-butt soft. I'm never using chemical things again!

The only thing about using EO's is they have to be added at certain temps or they will be distroyed and each EO has different flash points, i use them in my soap making also and cool to the right temp before adding the EO's

I made this a few weeks ago and I'm sold! It's absolutely amazing. I live in the Canadian prairies and my skin is sooo dry but this has completely solved that problem, and it puffs out my wrinkles too!!

Thankyou for showing this easier version of making body butter. So glad someone explained the right way to use the jar lifter. I had to show a friend of mine how to use too. But hey it worked and that's what counts. Love your videos. They alway bring a smile.

You inspired me to make some of my own. I stopped the video and made a quick batch. I wanted it to cool in a hurry so I put the ingredients in a metal bowl over simmering water. When it was melted, I added the vitamin E oil and a couple of drops of lemon oil. I whisked it vigorously over cool water for a couple of minutes as it solidified and it looked like lemon pudding! Jarred it up and I'm am tickled to death. Thank you so much 😍

I add vitamin e oil, shea butter grapefruit, orange and lemon oil to mine. I don't use the olive oil. I leave out the beeswax and add all the other ingredients plus sugar to make body scrubs. I only use soap on pits and nether regions because of eczema. You can also add all those ingredients minus olive oil add baking soda for homemade deodorant. I get compliments on my skin I'm 31 I look like I'm in my early 20s and I smell delightfully like citrus!! Skin is soft no more eczema, dryness, or fine lines.

I would switch out the coconut oil with Shea butter or coconut butter as coconut oil can be drying to your skin. If using the cocoa butter increase your olive oil a bit more as cocoa butter is a very hard oil. Plus added benefit of the shea has vitamin A and K in it.

This stuff is great. Another name is bore butter used on firearms but mainly on black powder guns. Great on your guns..great on your body 😆 Although bore butter really has two ingredients - beeswax and olive oil. Pinch of wintergreen just for smell..mm smells so good. Great for treating wounds and burns. Wondering if it's good deodorant?
