You should try some community servers. Petit Peids is what I play on and it’s the best one. Low rules server and the players aren’t jerks. You won’t get canni’d there by same species unless you’re a cera.

I won’t lie and say it doesn’t happen but most of the time from my experience they run away. Petit Peids also has a system called Social Score. Basically the server is low rules but doing negative things like body camping will lower it. If you’re constantly doing negative things eventually your social score will get you banned. It’s something Poutine (server owner/youtuber) made to encourage fair play.

Here's some omni tips, easier said then done ofc I still die all the time. You can't pounce head on, thats why those carno pounces failed. If you pounce up the slope of the hill - the pounce gets stuck on terrain, if you pounce down a steep hill you can jump over target and die to fall damage. Cera alt+bite sometimes reaches us after pouncing (because of lag probs), to avoid its best to time pounce after an attack. Herreras in south plains are somewhat avoidable, but that east side of the river near the waterfall and mudpit is deadly. 100+ Ping is pretty bad to play as omni, because omnis rely on quick movement. If you are getting hit and "its nowhere near you" sometimes its bad hitboxes, but mostly its lag/ping.
You might already know this, but you can save your skins instead of having to make a new one each time you die Ive just seen that you always make a new skin when you die Incase you dont know how, heres how: 1. Make a skin 2. Click one of the numbers in the bottom left of the screen 3. Click the big save button, the number you selected on step 2 should change color If you ever want to edit the skin later or use it, you just have to click the number you selected and then do what you want Edit: I forgot to mention it, but if you ever make a skin, save it and then want to edit it, it is very important that you click the save button again
I remember when I had the isle the omnis were so peaceful to each other…..now my heart is broken seeing this before when you played omnis you were always able to just make buddies instantly
For the Omni, eat your own kind at any point before the second mutation and when the time comes you can be a Cannibal if you choose the mutation when it's time to choose your second one.
In my experience that also happens as Herbies, played a small dryo the other day and got continually chased by other herbivores that tried to hit and kill me :c
i think if you want to play with people who dont randomly kill you even tho youre the same species, you should play on unofficial servers like islander semi realism which is good
Hey brother, love the videos, I just wanna recommend trying to use your freelook button a lot more. A lot of the time when I see you running from place to place you tend to just be looking in the direction you’re running. Make use of that free look to keep going the same direction but also be able to scan 360 degrees and always be watching for pursuers.

Need any tips I’m new but I have kinda learned some things also for Omni most people I have met are not toxic and don’t kill you so yeah I think Omni Is the best for beginners as you can meet up with people and are quite fast you could also try playing Herrera if you get bored similar to raptor but less health and plays like a jaguar and can hide up on trees but for now I would say stick to Omni as there are prolly more people playing it
What i don't like when playing with random omnis is that they constantly 1 call. If the group is already big, stop 1 calling you are scaring away the food.
@@kichmadev yeah if I were you I’d just asked them if they could stop and to only do that if they hear an Omni that isn’t part of a pack doing the one call so that they can find its location also if they have a bad idea tell them not to do it or just don’t listen like I was with a pack and they wanted to hunt 2 carnos but carnos are faster so they chased and killed us all

so the raptor works like this: you basicly pounche your target one to three times and then you just doge their attacks they basicly will bleed out. but don't let them rest or run away and in a coordinated pack(discord) there's actually only one raptor pounching/attacking the target the others just distrect and run arund the prey so the target has no chance to know from were it will be attacked :] // plan (b) if in a pack: if the raptor who's attacking/pouncing the prey is low on hp or stamm it will walk around the target while the others are trotting/running around to distreckt and so another raptor takes the possition of the pouncer :D ik my english is the best in the world xD
Pounce on the back. It tends to let you do it more successfully, regardless of who is lagging. That ping really was your biggest enemy, but yeah also face pounces are risky because you usually trade hits. The beginning was brutal! Jesus christ 😂 I hate South Plains

a bit of advice that ive learned, people dont like when you instantly invite them to a group as soon as you meet them, especially if they already are in a group. raptors especially tend to react badly to that kinda thing, so id either let them invite you first or ask if they have a group and then go from there lol
That’s true, but usually you just 3 call to decline and invite them back, and if they keep spamming invite and don’t let you invite you just don’t let them in your group. I’ve never seen a raptor KOS baby raptors like that on sight, very sad individual playing that omni for sure…

I think the reason behind so many omnis killing babies is that they are not normally omni players. They don't like omnis and are tired of the mega omni packs. So they go solo and call out to get their little kill.
Yeah Hera pounce is kinda braindead lol. If you have to go through the highlands cave, stick to the walls and don't stop until you're out! I usually just take the longer, more scenic route to avoid it completely.

I honestly don't get why si many omnis are cannis like ffs my luck has been totally different i meet nothing but friendly raptors. Well sorta birthed 20 some raptors 10 turned canni and 7 of my surviving members lived for about 20 mire hours before having to start anew

You also cannot pounce faces. Just sides and back.

For the future for you Tyler, 2 big utahs can pin down a full grown cera, carno, and even a dibble. As long as they have bad bleed and low stam.
