The interesting thing is people often laugh about these types of soaps in an age of Tide Pods and other liquid detergents, but the good old bar of soap works wonders on my dress shirts.
Sometime I would do my own laundry soap with both soap bars, 3 Fel Naptha and 1 white Zote (fragrance free) mix with Oxiclean (1 large container) and washing soda (whole box) and wash very well
You know Oxiclean and Washing soda have the same main ingredient right? Could cut the cost to 1/3 and just use the washing soda. (Oxiclean just has branding going for it and emulsifier and anti-caking agents added.)
@@pauljs75this is only partially correct. Washing soda is sodium carbonate, and oxiclean is sodium percarbonate, which is sodium carbonate reacted with hydrogen peroxide, which releases oxygen when added to water. I think you could skip the oxiclean and add peroxide to the load with the washing soda right when you start it.
The Fels-Naptha is very strong. I would not recommend it for bathing. The only time I use it on my skin is if I catch a dose of poison ivy. I make a lather on the skin then let it dry.
Alright. This stuff is not all that. It's barely even worth $1. I've watched numerous videos and tried it on different stains using the methods shown. Not one time has this stuff removed a stain completely. Even after soaking, scrubbing it, etc. You are better off just pretreating your stains with regular liquid detergent, or a paste of Clorox2 or Biz.

I work in the automotive field and I am convinced that it's the best thing for removing or the residues etc.
The Zote pink is generally used for bathing or general cleaning or laundry. Zote white has whiting or brighteners in it.
I have learned that the stain will come out the best, if you scrub the stain with the bar directly.
never soak/wash shoes in hot water, you'll loosen the sole glue. warm or cold only
As far as I know, you are supposed to use the blue zote, cover the shoe with the mixture , and let them sit out in the sun.
The only difference in the colors of the zote soap is the coloring. They’re all the same formula nothing different, but the coloring.
Blue?!? I've only seen the original white or sensitive skin pink kind what does blue do??!
@@KMay8281 The blue one is good for keeping whites white.
Burnt pots or pans fill pot with ice cubes and then pour table salt over the ice .

Also, I find this isn't enough soap. I use 7 bars to every whole box of washing soda with no oxy.

Set them in the sun for a few hrs
I love the pink zote soap I'll bathe with it, haven't tried the napa yet but will be doing that soon

@carlaphoenix8965 thank you ❤️
I can’t unsee the fact that you left the leather shoelaces on 🤦🏻♀️
So you cleaned the gels naptha wrong. You don’t just soak the shoe. You dampen the material the scrub with the bar of soap
But…that’s what she did. She rubbed each shoe with the dampened bars. The soaking was just extra.
I ❤ zote!
"Different smell", so which one smells better? 🤔
Zote
@@scholasticbookfair.
