If you want to find something "rare" in the Dodge truck world, (and believe me, this IS rare) a 1964 Dodge D 100 Sweptline Custom Sports Special HPP (high-performance package), (the first factory "muscle truck") 426 ci "street wedge"(some had 413s), automatic pushbutton transmission, power steering, dual exhaust, heavy-duty springs, traction bars, bucket seats, center console, carpet, gauge package with 6-grand Sun tach and dual racing stripes. This was inspired by 3 guys that drag-raced 1963 dodge trucks, the most notable one was Dick Boynton, a local San Diego DJ/radio personality. I am a MOPAR man myself, (I have 6, 60s era Mopars) and even if I found a basic '64 Dodge D 100, I would make it into a Custom Sports Special HPP or something close to it.

Gents I'm working on a 1962 D 200 Quad cab converting it from 225 - 3 speed to a 318 poly with 727 auto. Would you have any trucks that have the stock 318 auto trans package? I'm curious about the auto trans cross members between the frame rails and what it looks like. I'd really appreciate your help. Looking forward to your vids.

Just run across your channel and subscribed.
I have a couple of the old sweptline trucks I'm working on. You need to check out Samson Andrew's channel. He is in the process of doing a body swap crew cab Cummins. He set the bed on the frame and had a pretty big gap between the cab and bed. After he pondered on it about chopping the frame he made body section on each side and made a tool box that sets in that space and you can't really see it. Check him out. On a other note I don't know if you know much about the Mopar gas motors or not but should you decide to go in the direction on anything in the future keep in mind that their crank shafts are standard trans or auto trans specific. The hole in the back of the crankshaft in an automatic car is not machined for the pilot shaft bushing needed for the standard. That is one of the very few things that I scratch my head and wonder who had their head in their a$$ on that day. Good luck with your build I'll be watching. Exline auto parts out of PA has parts for these trucks, a little on the pricey side but I can tell you he makes the best replacement body parts for these period.
