Good luck on your project.
Can’t get my bottom bolt out, it’s super stuck in to the control arm 🥲
😮 is that the Slant 6?
When the only plastic on a pickup was the tail light and turn signal lenses.
You are a Lucky Dog! I'm also in North Western Georgia... And would have loved to find this RAREITY! I'll be watching...
Those 'tow rings' are for saftey chains when pulling a trailer. .
Never thought of that so used to seeing them other places haha
Nice rig
Thanks def my favorite
how neat! makes me think of my ol' '74 w100! ... Put a Pop-top Camper on it! "Honey, We heading to the hills for a shaggin'!!!" ... uh... <3 all
😂😂😂
Oh that's a great score! Looking forward to see more of it.
Can't wait to start working on it.
this is cool as all hell man
Thanks def happy I came across jt.
Its looking good
Thanks
I think the Beetlejuice nickname is awesome 😎👍 I wonder if the mount on the rear bumper could have been for a large vice 🔧
It's very interesting for sure. I like and hate the bumper at the same time
Can't wait to see it in the sweptline
Looks great! 🔧
Awesome truck also you might have seen his videos but the rust farm he has done quite a few cummins sweptline swaps might be helpful
Yes. I talked to him about his rear fenders his are the only I've seen on a normal bed that I like.
Nice
Subscribed to the video because I love the Dodge Swepline so greeting from Montana young men!
Thanks so much!
Life comes first my friend 🙂👍 Progress with my stuff slows down cause of work. Just make the videos when you can and we'll all be here to watch. I don't blame you on the box truck. A wedge bed would be cool and much cheaper than a rollback in my opinion. Just a thought. I like the powder coat color choice. Looks great. Happy wrenching 🔧🔩
no audio my friend
I think it may have been still loading. It has audio for me.
Where I live, you can’t find a crew cab sweptline thats 98% rust without paying $10k. Where are all these people finding these things?
where do you live?
Douglas, I don’t listen to anybody AND have bad luck with tires. We might be related?
hahahaha
Awesome video man! Thank you! I have the same jeep and have to do this tomorrow. This has been the best detailed video ive found!
Good luck! let us know how it goes! the clevis bolts are the worst part!
Awesome video! So far its the most detailed one ive found. And vehicle specific, i have the same jeep.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Appreciate the video it has helped me out twice 👍
Glad to hear it!
Awesome!! 😀🔧
Dang homie. I was thinking of getting this mount. But I'm not so sure after seeing this. How fast were you going and what did you hit?
15 mph maybe and a cinderblock in a parking lot
@@rustyedges704 daaamn!
The only video on this truck......it was never seen again.
The engine is currently being resealed and then we will start building it. The guy who is working on resealing it also races a Cummins and so he is supposed to be starting on it here soon.
Awesome ya'll I'm in NC I've got a 69 D200 all original I bought it when I was 16 950 $ I'm 48 now just cranked it for the first time in 30 years the other day
Thats cool. We're in Cleveland County!
keep the wrecker!! love that truck exactly the way it is
love the sweptlines. i have a 19070 on a Dakota platform
That is a beautiful dog.
Thank you!
Any pictures of the trans removed?
Looking for anything specific?
Was curious if it was the NP435, and if so was it the 10 spline 1" style.@@rustyedges704
@@willwatson3614 i scrapped it but i do actually have pictures
The 10 spline are rare, the 23 are common. @@rustyedges704
Oh man!! 😧 Glad you're ok! It's only metal my friend, it can be fixed again 🔧🔩
That's the plan!
Oh, I love those ole dual boom Dodge Wreckers! Nice Find.
I agree I'm in the process of making something really cool
PA Trucks are always a disaster.
Salt everywhere

Thank you for saving one. I used to ride in one back in the day. Mine is my most prized possession. Rebuuit from the ground up.
I bet it's a sweet ride
How you fellas doing I enjoyed your video can't find any other videos but this one I have a 70 d100 complete solid floor ought about a18 month ago 318 I have a running 318 with transmission I was thinking of selling it I'm in south Texas it's not running the engine comes out of a 69 sweptline
Trucks hold up well in Texas, but if you wanna sell it I have a friend down there who may be interested in the truck.
Awesome find on the Jeep 😁👍 You gotta jump on the deals when you find them. Hopefully it's an easy fix 🔧🔩
It ended up not being but i sold it to a guy that wanted to rebuild it because they're all rusted up in PA
Almost nothing is worse than when the previous owner lost the lug nut key! 😖 Those are some nice looking wheels 😁👍
Haha I agree!
Hy fellashows it going how many sweptlines do you have 😂
6 now lol
I love your choice of Dodge trucks, the older ones were very reliable. My father always bought them with 318ci V8.
Glad you like them!
Nice video! Subbed! I’m working on a ‘67 Power Wagon myself. Look my name up and tell me what you think. Any tips would be appreciated.
Nice work replacing the CV axles 🙂👍 I got a good laugh about the King of the Hill joke! Lol 🤣 Take care and happy wrenching 🔧🔩
I didn't know if anyone would get it haha
wear yall been aint seen yall in a while
We've been working on a few things at one time. We've got the Jeep that we're actually about to take apart again because we found a super lift which I'll show you in another video, we're also working on getting the box truck moved so that we can start pulling the 12v out of it to put into the wrecker. It's been a lot of part sourcing the last couple weeks
@@rustyedges704 thats always fun good luck
didnt care 2 much 4 that music but thats just me
It's my friend's music and pretty much one of the only songs I know I can use without getting flagged for copyright
@@rustyedges704 i think that flaging is bujjshit
I agree they should just make a playlist of songs we can use. Basically what I decided to do is use local artists music to feel any time lapses I did. And you know if I end up getting lots of followers and someone here's their music one day that's great for them too
@@rustyedges704 oh hell yeah ya cant go wrong with that who the ford truck that was pulling the trailer belong 2
My brother Douglas
in a previous video I noticed that this truck has the older split rims. would you be interested in selling the hubcaps? I'm restoring a 1965 and it is missing one of the original hubcaps.
Possibly I'm not sure yet. If I do decide to sell them I'll message you.
Find us on Facebook or Instagram same name and I'll see what you need.
Great job getting the engine and transmission removed. 🔧🔩
Thanks it was a journey
