Learned the hard way when my Discus ate 15 young cardinal tetras in few days. Had no idea they would go for the small tetras. Only my bigger rummy noise tetras were left!

If they are really small they will eat them. If they are small but don’t fit in their mouth then they kill them trying to eat them. Yeah, I have seen it twice with young Tetra and larger Discus Fish. If you put the Discus in small and the Tetra in on the larger side, you will have no problem. They learn to live together.
