Just ordered this today, I'm a huge fan of the original Robocop movie. And the game Robocop Rogue City that came out last year is really good. I just completed it for the third time.
Definitely worth the money. Hope they will come with a version that has light and sound

I bought one of these cars as well. It's a very nice model. In the original movie the first time you see the police car in full sight is in the chase scene. The red strobe light is on the drivers side of the vehicle. The vehicle number is 154 and that is accurate to the movie. At the end of the movie there is another police car with the blue strobe on the drivers side which would match this vehicle. However, that car number is 184. All around great model and glad to have it, But I wish it was correct to the movie as it appears. Just my opinion. Thanks great video.
And we are missing some Bullet holes.
I hope they are going to make a 1/18 scale version with working lights and extra details on and inside the car.
And maybe a loose ED209 robot.

I just got one going to turn it into a lowrider the cop lights are coming off the decals are coming off going to put graphics on mine the front bumper grill is coming off and it's going to have subwoofers in the trunk

I have this also. Only gripe about it is that the colors for the light bar are backwards. The red should be on the driver side and blue should be on the passenger side. I'm not sure how they screwed that up, other than that I love it

LOL. It even has the Yamaha SHO engine in it! The intake manifold gives it away. Nice detail!

I noticed a couple of faults; the license plate is crooked, and they spelt Taurus wrong, underneath.
But the figure makes up for it.

@@kevinsisler9379 yeah, that is my only reserve about it. It drives me crazy they got that wrong, considering most of the nation that runs red and blue, red is always over the driver side.

They got the colour wrong and the lights are backwards.
Next version they should fix that problem and add some lights to it
I still have the large and smaller robocop figurines released back in '95 in line with the TV series. Also had the 2 door Mustang with working lights, but don't know what happened with that car 😢.

Thank you for the video. Can you check to see if the light bar can be unscrewed? Or lifted off? Wondering if it can be turned around so the Red light is on the drivers side like it should be.

that's a cool piece not because of the Robocop part (I barely care about that ) but because of the 1986 Ford Taurus

It's actually an 89 Taurus SHO look at the engine in the engine bay that's a SHO motor. And oldest it can be with that is an 89. 85 to 87 had a Vulcan 3.0 as the V6 and 88s had an option for the Vulcan and a 3.8 Essex Thunderbird engine.
My only gripe with this is the car is too shiny.

It's good I do want it but unfortunately it's the wrong colour it should be grey like the movie the toy island version from the 90's is much better
Light on top of the roof is also wrong
@@DiecastDudeofficial jada have clearly not studied what the car looks like in the movie or probably haven't even seen it enough times another company like neca needs to make a better accurate version to many mistakes on this not good

Jada Toys suck, their Knight Rider K.I.T.T. isn't accurate either and they got some of the The Batman Batmobile details wrong.
Heck their Delorean is missing the DMC logo.
