Wtf, did u just say jl executed character introduction better than avengers? WTH. Sorry, u sound so biased. Maybe that's my opinion. And u didn't talk about how steppenwolf got smacked around by Superman. Loki actually had his perfect motivations and charisma. And Thor movies was actually more like a set up for Loki too..I completely disagree with ur whole points.
It is kind of sad if the best defence for a movie you have is to claim that another, quite successful, movie was "underwhelming". What does that even mean? The characters in The Avengers are engaging and interesting from the moment they turn up on screen. Which is exactly the point, the movie is above all a character study.
BRO ARE U DRUNK. MARVEL PUT 4 years of character development and solo movies into the assembling of the team. The justice league brought together half their team within one movie without any backstory whatsoever.
Agreed Lo Low...criticize the recruitment method of the Avengers all you want, but to actually say that the JL movie is BETTER is nuts.I had NO problem with who did the enlistment. Black Widow is a Shield operative - why would they write it so that the loose cannon Stark gets to bring everyone in?
I feel like you completely ignored the fact that Hawkeye existed in avengers. His plot wasn’t interesting until AoU but the fact he was brainwashed made him quite a major character of the film so I’m surprised you didn’t mention him.
Just love how you "conveniently" left out the fact that JL made the same exact "severe pain" joke as the Avengers w/ Batman, but you didn't subtract points for that... 🤔🤔🤔
Oh trust me. I have a deleted scene of this video where I compare both of these films tones and I made mention of that. The reason I ended up cutting it is because the video would end up being 30 minutes and I didn't want that length to put people off. So don't worry, I will bring Justice League into account for that when I get the time to edit the deleted scene. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy!
The mcu was always light hearted and Loki is the God of mischief, the joke makes more sense with that in mind. However the joke does not fit in Snyder's murder verse being delivered by one of the darkest and most mentally disturbed comic book heroes. Batman should be the character who never makes stupid jokes and one liners, he's the straight man, the comedy comes from the contrast between him and the other members of the justice league. He does not belong in a joss whedon movie.
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on two points: 1. I personally thought the action was better in Avengers. The team fighting is much better in Avengers. You have them mixing up their unique abilities together to take things down. They aren't all powerful on their own, and the action shows this. In Justice League however, they aren't as cohesive a unit. Batman is almost powerless. The point of variety doesn't make much sense to me, that was a bit of a stretch. Wonder Woman and Aqua Man essentially do the same things: Super jump, slam into and/or punch things. Shoot, in the initial Super Man scene, they have 3 characters trying to push into him at once. Most of them are too powerful, and it doesn't give them much to do. To me, The Avengers have much more niche things they do, and the action utilizes that. When you reduce it to Melee or Ranged, you definitely make it seem like there isn't a lot of variety, but what else is there really? And 2, I can't believe you didn't think of the shot of the Avengers together as their theme plays. It's absolutely amazing! and I think that puts it above Justice League. I didn't mean to write an essay, I just needed to validate my argument. I like all your other points though, this video is really good!
I thought that Justice League was good but with comparing them Avengers is far superior and honestly I agree with you that avengers should have received points from at least 9 of them.
Also Every memeber of Avengers qualifiate as part of a well working team.Captain America Strategist,Iron Man is resource of money and upgrades of team,Black Widow their infiltrator and secret agent,Hulk their tank and brute force,Hawkeye their scout and sharpshooter. This is so well crafted and every body get his moment in movie Lets look at Justice League:Wonder Woman:She is strong and fast ,Batman have gadgets and have detective instincts.Cyborg is can shoot lazers and technopath,Aquaman is strong and can control water .Superman basically outclass everyone with Power and speed and other powers. And Flash have speed.People thinks if Superman and Wonder woman have speed enought to dodge and catch bullets why we need Flash.Oh we need him bc if JL screw up and defeat by enemy Flash can turn back to time and warn to league about it.This is their cheat code basically. For me Avengers looks more well rounded and interesting than Justice League .Most cases Superman doesnt even dont need a team.Unless somebody shows up krpytonite or magic.
Ok I think you paint Loki to be some sort of big bad villain but in reality? Loki is the God of Mischief, not really the God you want to put up against Hulk or an energy blast modelled after Odins executioner, Loki is a great Villain because he does not take the Avengers in a straight up fist fight, he plays with their heads yet fails so often that we relate to him, how many times do you plan things out only to get fucked in the end now when it came to the scene with Loki and Black Widow, it goes to show how Loki is not really cut out to be a bad guy, in heart he is just a big man child wanting attention, when hulk bashed him around was actually reasonable in the fact that he already lost, and that you really cant take Loki seriously. That is what made Loki a great Villain, he has flaws and is essentially a big child with ADHD, not some Heath Ledger/Hannibal Lecter kind of villain that is so out their that you just can't help but just be amazed at how terrifying they would have been had they been real. But what do I know? Most of the viewers would not go to the movies just to nit pick every detail like you and I, that is what makes Loki a great Villain, people relate to him
Bullshit. The action is much better in The Avengers. There is much more variety in action compared to JLA. The scene which was shot continuously without edits was amazing.
I thought the action was great in Justice league too, but if were going by his rules Wonder woman does that slapping her gauntlets together move ALOT during the movie. Black widow is great at being versatile, that's why she can fight the aliens.
I’m sorry, while JL is a crappy movie, the action in Avengers feels so dull to me. Zack Snyder, regardless his lack of grasp for story, is amazing with creating action that has style and intensity.
Agreed. They couldn't erase Superman's moustache well, and Steppenwolf's CGI was as bad as Ang Lee's "Hulk"... which is now an old film. Some scenes had good effects, some scenes didn't.
Did you just said justice league was similar to avengers? lol. Even if it was (even tho after seeing steppenwolf i can say its like almost as good as the amazing bulks cgi) its still really really bad because avengers were made in 2012 while justice league is made in 2017, its like compare justice league's cgi to thor ragnarok's cgi.
Umm...Hello? Loki pretended to accidentally give black widow the information! He wanted her to think she had played him. HIS WHOLE STINKING MOTIVATION WAS TO GET CAUGHT SO THAT HE COULD GET BACK TO ASGARD!!!!!
+Kale Chip Krunch No he was duped. The look of utter confusion on his face clearly illustrated that. His plan just so happened to fall into place anyway so this didn't foil his plan in the end.
+Kale Chip Krunch Loki only planned on getting caught by Shield in the middle of the movie. At the end of the film he got caught because he lost. He didn't intend on getting caught and imprisoned at this point.
Kale Chip Krunch Nope. His whole purpose was to follow through with his plan till the very end. Stark foiled it when he redirected that nuke into the portal. He ended up in prison and that was a place he DIDN'T want to be. This is evident in Thor 2 when we see him in the prison. He never planned to destroy the city only to fail all the work he put into motion and get captured.
OK, you were way too harsh on the Avengers soundtrack. The main theme is pretty well done if you sit back and listen to it. It's catchy, humable, and encompasses everything about the Avengers. Heck, I think your being harsh on the MCU music as a whole. All the phase 1 Marvel films had great music. The problem was they weren't used for the sequels.
I know! I can't believe he not only didn't like the music, he didn't think it added anything to the movie. I think its one of the best soundtracks of all time, and it makes every scene better.
Ricky Collins I have been scrolling forever just to find this comment. I 3000% agree with you. Avengers theme is the best theme to any comic book movie because even after its first time being heard it was already a memorable masterpiece.
Mate, your defending the JL like it was so close in comparison to the Avengers. I feel like you gave justice league too much credit. You rated them the same to seem unbiased, but it’s clear that Avengers is better. It’s fine if you enjoyed the movie, but to say that it’s as good as Avengers is kind of a spit in the face. I fairly enjoyed JL but it was a flop IMO, it wasn’t the event it was supposed to be.
+Stepz97 • I agree. It wasn't the even it was supposed to be. And I am enraged that this is what it turned out to be. But out of the two movies I enjoyed individual aspects more from Justice League. However until I specifically mention which movie is the best at the end of my video, there is no overall winner. And in the end I speak against DC and Justice League. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy!
@@EricCarter12 "Until i say which is the best movie movie in the end of the video, there is no overall winner". In other words "I'm going to keep praising justice and it's obvious i like it better, but you can't say like it better until I say who won".
You are a typical DC fanboy.Don't get me wrong,I love DC and I love all their superhero properties (movies, books, comic books, etc). You sound absolutely biased towards DC.Character introduction was slightly better executed in Justice League? Are you serious?Half of the JL roster were all flushed out and introduced in under 30 minutes time, where as in the Avengers we had movies about every character except Hawkeye and Blackwidow and they actually introduced Blackwidow in Iron Man 2. I honestly loved JL simply because I'm a nerd,I love comic books and superhero movies and The Flash is my favorite superhero of all. But after watching the movie about 10 times,I always feel half satisfied with the movie.Steppenwolf was a mess,we all know that.Supermans CGI face was god aweful. And the final showdown between Steppenwolf and the Justice League was disappointing. But hey, that's my opinion, everyone can have one. P.S :Grant Gustin is the best Flash! Ezra Miller - meh.
Exactly my point, although he got juuuust a little bit development,as in it was established for a moment that he's supposed to be this eagle type assassin that has his own nest. And that's basically the whole development of the character.
Well don't go around saying the film doesn't deserve any praise or that anyone who claims to like it is simply trolling. You're going to turn some heads.
Well that's implying had anything to be inconsistent about, I like Justice League, but the villain had such little development, almost no character, and a nice but very generic appearance, if you set him on fire you'd think he was Sutur. He really could have benefited with more development. If he actually told us more about his backstory and his character literally didn't begin and end with "I'm a practically a god a I want to destroy earth."
Loki’s constant loosing isn’t a problem for me. It is part of what makes him such a complex character and the kind of villain you want to root for. He loses all the time and the story digs into that. His constant confidence in the face of all this defeat is what makes him so likable. Plus literally every other villain ALWAYS succeeds until the very end. Because of this trope Loki comes off as fresh and surprisingly human. He fails just as much as the heroes and that is why Loki is 1 million times more complex of a character than Stephenwolf
Josstice League Steppenwolf? Absolutely. Snyder Cut Steppenwolf? Absolutely not. I never could take Loki as a serious threat for Thor, and much less the Avengers. He constantly failed in his mission and got his a55 handed to him by almost everyone. Literally and figuratively. Black Widow outsmarted him, Colson shot him, Hawkeye got him with an explosive arrow, Hulk pummeled him into the ground. For a the god of tricks he sure gets duped a lot. Especially in a movie where he’s the main villain. Pretty underwhelming if you asked me. Though he did grow on me in Ragnarök, and for his short period time in Endgame. Snyder Cut Steppenwolf though. Now he was a real threat. Cutting through the Justice League with little trouble until Superman came back. And what’s more, unlike Loki, he actually succeeded in bringing about the end of the work. Until Flash reversed time.
I am sorry but you seem like you are defending justice league WAY too much. Avengers and justice league aren`t even in the same league. Avengers is way better in every way. I am sorry DC fans, you just have to stick with the comics for now.
Now I thought Justice league was actually a much better movie from any dc's past movies not called Wonder woman for their cinematic universe. That being said I put Justice league at 8 where Avengers is a 10, and a 10 for me is not perfect but pretty close to it with only a few little things that would be nitpicks.
Well it just entertained me a lot more than any dc movie except for Wonder woman has done. I felt there was a lot more good in it than there was bad, even after hearing all the behind the scenes turmoil I'd still keep it at 8, that's the movie I got and my feelings haven't changed one way or the other. This made me go ok give me Aquaman. I'm willing to put some faith in the Dc movies now.
This video is pretty bias. I mean justice league isn’t bad but it also isn’t good. In return avengers is a hard hitting film for marvel. Not that avengers does not have flaws and I completely agree with you on Loki because it wasn’t his best pretrial. But you have to realize Loki was almost meant to be a puppet setting up Thanos because that’s the whole reason he had the army and that’s what marvel is good at, they are the best in the business at setting up future movies. Also avengers was made a few years ago so of course their action scenes will be better
These are my opinions: Steppenwolf also gets bashed around just like Loki, and Steppenwolf looks like a video game character. The Marvel character developments were much better. Cyborg has little to no character development and is not that likeable. The Justice League wasn't bad, I highly enjoyed both films but Marvel took more time setting up characters in previous films that lead up to the Avengers. ALSO the music theme for the avengers is amazing, it sends chills down my spine and sounds epic.
Avengers was epic at its finest. Pivotal to the comic book movie genre. The build up and everything else. And that money shot in 360 with the now epic and iconic Avengers theme. And the MCU is killing it and has been ever since Iron Man 1. JL and the DCEU was honestly a weak hype.
+MrCdub88 You are right about Justice League being a weak hype. In fact I would go as far as to call the hype non-existent. That being said I very rarely use the word "EPIC" to describe a movie. But that being said, everyone's definition of epic is different. Thanks for watching and commenting buddy!
Beauty_vet I didn’t say specifics. The MCU as a shared universe. Regardless of its hit and misses. I hear you love, not every movie was great. But there built universe as a whole.
I remember that my dad rented justice league to watch it and after 30 minutes he fell asleep. I've completely forgotten everything that happened in justice league
You're really trying hard to give Justice League some points, aren't you... I'm not saying The Avengers was a perfect film, but any sane person would see that JL was a fucking train wreck. Honestly, you keep defending Justice League at almost every turn and it seems so forced.
+Enchanted Mango Justice League wasn't a train wreck. I went in completley unexcited and uninterested as the trailers and rumours just dropped my expectations to an unbelievable low. After having seen the movie though it was more than watchable and had plenty of good elements although it did have plenty of things that were bad and it also could have been so much better in its own right. A proper definition of a train wreck movie is Suicide Squad. And in comparison Justice League doesn't even come close. I thought it was a good movie. Nothing more.
Enchanted Mango Yeah I know right. 14:20 (I’m paraphrasing of course) “The action in Justice League is way more unique. Like how Cyborg doesn’t react or seem to give a fuck that half his arm and leg were torn off which is obviously excruciatingly painful” Yeah what a great ACTION scene that was. That super intense ACTION scene. The lack of acting and emotion is a great ACTION scene.
James xzavian First off I wasn’t even criticizing JL or even DC. I was criticizing this video about how some of his points made absolutely no sense. Calling Cyborgs lack of emotion an “exciting and unique action scene”. Second I even if I was criticizing the movie doesn’t mean I’m a Marvel Fanboy. I can like or dislike a movie from either side without being a mindless corporate slave
So your expectations were that JL will be a bad movie, and it was better than you expected, good for you, but that doesnt make it a 7/10. You thought its going to be maybe 4/10, and it was a 5/10 and you added some points because Batman and Superman are your favourite superheroes. Btw, I love Batman and Superman, and that is exactly why I would subtract points for JL, because both of them were handled poorly in JL, just as every character in JL except Wonder Woman.
+UndeadSlayer5 I love Marvel. I just don't like ALL of their creative decisions. The director's behind Captain America The Winter Soldier, Civil War and the upcoming Avengers movies are the ones I have little to NO problems with. They REALLY get how to make a Marvel movie whilst balancing out all of its usual traits.
I liked Avengers better but i was really hoping JL would b epic and huge...i got let down. 😞 thats not a shot at JL, they just have all the right ingredients but keep ruining the meal.
I totally agree buddy. That's why I said at the end of the video that EVERYTHING about Justice League could have been better. Honestly Warner Bros have failed with their poorly named DC Extended Universe. If their ensemble movie didn't meet their expectations with regards to ticket sales then what chance do the rest of the movies have under their supervision?
Eric Carter yea i kno and its sad, id LOVE to see the Russo bro get ahold of one of these, i agree with u they ABSOLUTELY get how to do a superhero movie! ✌🏻damn good vid u have here nonetheless
So are we getting a Round 2 with the Snyder Cut vs Avengers? Because the Snyder Cut is legitimately a whole different beast altogether than the theatrical release.
At the end of the day, Snyder dug himself into a whole with Man of Steel, and BvS. He had little to work with to make Justice League, and it was his fault. I honestly hate that this cinematic universe is going forward; I love DC and I just hate my characters being butchered. And if the character wasn't butchered they at least aren't up to par with what they should be in these movies. Aquaman, Wonder Woman and Batman are the only passable characters. The villain sucks, the story sucks, the only inspiring songs in the whole DCEU are the Man of Steel main theme and the Trafalgar square song in Wonder Woman.
@@SeanWheeler100 Marvel comic nerds don't complaint about the changes made in the movies as DC comics readers do.. And with the popularity of MCU is increasing with each films, I think no body even knows or care about comic canon. Because Millions of new fans of MCU are just general audience, & getting attached to this universe/characters just because of the great movies
Black Widow's backstory is never fully revealed in the MCU movies but she was subjected to the same type of experimentation as Captain America. This explains why she is able to keep up with the rest of the Avengers and dispatch alien soldiers with her bare hands.
+depastin0 Was she? Because as strong as she is I wouldn't say she's THAT strong. Also with all the time the movies have with Black Widow that is something you'd think they would have explained at this point. Unless they don't want her to be that strong in the MCU films.
"Natasha has taken a different version of the Super-Soldier Serum. This gave her physical abilities much like Captain America, though not as great as his. She possesses peak-level physiology, making her as strong, agile, fast, and durable as a female human can possibly be without being classified as superhuman. This also extends to her senses and immune system, which are similarly heightened to peak human level." - Comic Vine Wiki
It is because rotten tomatoes wont overlook terrible cgi. I mean avengers cgi wasnt that good now when i look at it, but still it came out in 2012, so we cant really expect anything better tbh. Just its not pretty much possible for justice league to get 7 just because of reshoots and cgi. By this im not saying justice league couldnt be a good movie.
You're going down in history as the only TH-camr to give a same score for both Justice league and The Avengers. It's very brave of you. But in the end, you can't compare The Avengers which got both critical ( 92% RT , 8.1 IMDb ) and financial ( 1.5 billion box office) success and pretty much changed the landscape of Hollywood overnight. With a movie which is considered as both a critical ( 40% RT and 7.0 IMDb) and financial (656 million) failure. I know this is your personal opinion. But it seems your preferences opinions get way too much in the way of making a honest comparison of the two movies.
I assumed the like to dislike ratio of this was because butt hurt MCU fanboys and an Avengers loss to Justice League. I instead find myself agreeing with the dislikes. It's not about the result by far it's about the analysis of the movies and trying to appease an audience in reviewing them. It is made obvious with your end review of the two movies. "Justice league gets a strong seven out of ten and Avengers get a standard seven." The winner is the Avengers??? This is how the whole comparison went. You basically said I like JL more than Avengers but Avengers is the better movie. Look I liked both but in my opinion Avengers is better but I don't mind you thinking JL is better, that being said their is no objective truth to one being better and the other being worse If you think JL is better just come out and say it. In the end this didn't seem like a serious comparison. It instead seemed like you where the fan boy willing to concede Avengers was better but at the same time trying to lower it to JL's level.
It's not really butthurt mcu fanboys. Avengers is objectively a better film than justice league and you would have to ignore all the problems justice league and nitpick the avengers movies to say justice league is a better film.
I can agree with that. If you like The Flash then I would highly recommend that you watch The Flash TV Show. It is SO well written and completely kicks this movie Flash out of the water. Thanks for watching buddy!
Rachit Garg A soup opera with heroes is what Arrow became with Season 4 and onwards. Flash still had a dark story which it was telling and the imminent threat that was coming constantly made the tone and feel get darker and darker. I really didn't like the last 10 minutes of the final episode though. That just felt completley off and quite forced.
Arc 48 Lol sorry buddy. These are just my own personal opinions. It doesn't mean I am right. That being said, I would love to hear your opinions. What did you think of both films?
Eric Carter It was a well made video and all, but when your opinions are so very radically different from what I expected, it caught me off guard. I’m not mad at you or anything and realize it’s your opinion, but it’s hard not to get a little ticked off when something you hold in such high regard is said to be mediocre. I’m a bit short on time rn, but I’ll make sure to comeback and give my opinions on the Avengers.
1st encounter with Steve and Bruce would've gone like this if Tony was "recruiting": Bruce: Tony just doesn't have enough experience in persuasion to effectively convice bruce to join, he would've made a less serious approach, worst case scenario, Bruce would've hulked out Steve: DO YOU SERIOUSLY THINK HE WOULD'VE AGREED IF SHIELD ASKED HIM TO MAKE STEVE JOIN THEIR LITTLE BOY BAND!? STEVE WAS BASICALLY THE REASON OF HOWARD'S NEGLECT!
Josstice leauge has a lot if things you hate like having very unfunny jokes, they treat characters like trash, and it’s directed by joss Whedon. I don’t think this should even be cannon. The Snyder cut should be instead
Loki didn't plan to unleash the Hulk, it just happened, mainly because they got paranoid and started arguing and then came Barton with an explosion, in which, caused Banner to change to the Hulk As you notice, after Black Widow did a so-called reverse interrogation of Loki she, misconstrued his plans, because when she walked away, he said "HUH???"
I am so glad that someone finally pointed out that cyborg belongs in teen titans and teen titans ONLY. I didnt like that they just switch him over to the justice league. I was disappointed truly.
@@dawnproctor7741 nah bro certain characters should stay in there show. Static show in young justice, that was amazing but in teen titans? Its just not right. I get wut u saying n all but them switching cyborg like that is like upsetting the natural balance of things if u get wut im saying
I love how you put these two movies together. All over TH-cam, I see Justice League vs. Infinity War and it bothers me. You can't put the penultimate Avengers with the ultimate threat with the origin of the Justice League. A movie with established characters after 10 years of development against a movie with new characters isn't a fair fight, and I thank you for not doing that.
Eric Carter if you think the re-introduction of superman in JL was perfect, you should watch the clip where someone replaced that scene with with MOS OST "ideal of hope". It was sublime. The same soundtrack that someone else used playing at the ending made the movie completely different because the epicness was off the chart. It would've made the movie at least 50 million dollars more because it was full of hope.
Steppen wolf cant be affraid of Darkseid because then shadow m demons would not follow him, thats exactually also a way how they defeated him, he was affraid of superman and the shadow demons turned on him
Great videos you articulated your point clearly and provided a decent comparison. However, the music section was unnecessary in my opinion you should have had a hero’s ability section.
Did this guy really just say dc has more creative action sequences? Justice league, the movie where everyone basically does nothing but punch and kick? I'm avengers we have hulk and Thor combining to take down a whale, iron man reflecting his laser off of caps shield to mow down enemies, black widow using the scepter, Hawkeye arrows there's so much creativity and inventiveness in the way they fight. Marvel fight sequences are light years ahead of Justice League.
Civil war introduced three new characters to the world; zemo, Spider-Man, and black panther so I won’t give Snyder and whedon a pass when the Russo’s pulled it off a lot better along with a Batman v Superman square
Thor comes because of loki And Nick fury knew what he was doing he knew hulk will eventually come out if you actually watched the movie correctly you'd know his plan all along was the avengers initiative
@@EricCarter12 as I might have said in the comments section of your video Zack Snyder's Justice League VS Justice League, Elfman's music managed to sound epic when the Amazons were trying to keep the Mother Box from Steppenwolf, and during the wide shot of Steppenwolf's first invasion showing all the tribes of Man fighting Steppenwolf and his army. It was also nostalgic hearing snippets of the iconic themes from Superman (1978) and Batman (1989). But the score for Zack Snyder's Justice League...WOW.

Flash battle move, returns Wonder Woman's sword by pushing at point. Everyone else punch, punch. Hulk attacks, punch, gouge, flip, throw, drop, bite, slam (puny god) and of course smash.
Coming from someone who this was the first video they watched. I was surprised how opinionated it was. Although your opinion is clear, I thought it was taken too high. But I love it! Too many channels that have content relating to movies are striped down and have little to no personality, take Screen Rant for example. Plus your content is well edited, has great audio, and great back ground eye candy as well as effects. Which is why I feel this video got way to much hate. Even I disagreed with alot the video stated, but I found a ton of enjoyment in watching it. Making great content on youtube is a handful. Which is why I subscribed=). How do you only have 24,000 sub's?
Thank you SO MUCH for the kind words. I am flattered. I consciously spend a lot of time and effort to make my videos entertaining with the visuals, narration and background music. Despite the opinions being, as you say "opinionated" these are my genuine opinions. I always thought The Avengers was good but not great. Civil War was the FAR superior Avengers movie to me. And I absolutely can't wait for Infinity War. Justice League DEFINITELY is underwhelming and could have been infinitly much better than it was. But in many places it did remind me of the cartoon I used to watch and that elevated the enjoyment factor for me. But as I stated at the end of the video, I do acknowledge that The Avengers is the clear winner. But for ME, I favour Justice League. It's a guilty pleasure. Thanks so much for watching and subscribing!
I know this video was made before IW and Endgame but I feel like the Guardians Of The Galaxy movies also had a constantly great soundtrack as well (especially Yondu death).
Justice League War to this very day, is my DEFINITIVE justice league origin film. As a HUGE dc fan, I just pretend Justice League (2017) doesn't exist.
Iconic music the avengers theme is one of the most iconic and frequent musics I’ve ever heard in my life I mean even people who didn’t see the avengers know this song

Not to mention the bad CGI in Justice league.
I watched both and Avengers was more fun and organized as a movie

@@lisagaughan7154 I am 100% agree
The Snyder Cut of JL is way better than the both of them put together!!
@@steveturner609 shut up
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on two points: 1.
I like all your other points though, this video is really good!
william calhoun great analysis dude. You helped me figure out why JL was so lacklustre.
william calhoun yeah exactly how I felt watching this vid. I liked justice league okay but I love avengers
This is so well crafted and every body get his moment in movie
Lets look at Justice League:Wonder Woman:She is strong and fast ,Batman have gadgets and have detective instincts.Cyborg is can shoot lazers and technopath,Aquaman is strong and can control water .Superman basically outclass everyone with Power and speed and other powers.
Loki is the God of Mischief, not really the God you want to put up against Hulk or an energy blast modelled after Odins executioner, Loki is a great Villain because he does not take the Avengers in a straight up fist fight, he plays with their heads yet fails so often that we relate to him, how many times do you plan things out only to get fucked in the end
now when it came to the scene with Loki and Black Widow, it goes to show how Loki is not really cut out to be a bad guy, in heart he is just a big man child wanting attention, when hulk bashed him around was actually reasonable in the fact that he already lost, and that you really cant take Loki seriously. That is what made Loki a great Villain, he has flaws and is essentially a big child with ADHD, not some Heath Ledger/Hannibal Lecter kind of villain that is so out their that you just can't help but just be amazed at how terrifying they would have been had they been real. But what do I know? Most of the viewers would not go to the movies just to nit pick every detail like you and I, that is what makes Loki a great Villain, people relate to him
Sonny Bryan I’m glad I saw your comment
i agree, Loki is relatable and more of a humane villain. His motivations, as explained in Thor 1, made him a good villain imo.
Yep I agree and marvel might have potrayed him that way so that he can fit with the roster in a better way during infinity war.

@@RedfurredPikachu man that scene where Stephen wolf kills the amazonians was dope.
I’m sorry, while JL is a crappy movie, the action in Avengers feels so dull to me. Zack Snyder, regardless his lack of grasp for story, is amazing with creating action that has style and intensity.
Justice leagues CGI was pretty bad .... how does it have better action if it doesn't even look good
Bad CGI? I found it was on point similar to Avengers I mean you know it's fake but it still looks cool
Avengers CGI holds up well, IMO. The Hulk in "Ragnarok" is like a step backward.
darkman 420 seriously this is he ugliest movie I’ve seen in a cinema
Umm...Hello? Loki pretended to accidentally give black widow the information! He wanted her to think she had played him. HIS WHOLE STINKING MOTIVATION WAS TO GET CAUGHT SO THAT HE COULD GET BACK TO ASGARD!!!!!
+Kale Chip Krunch No he was duped. The look of utter confusion on his face clearly illustrated that. His plan just so happened to fall into place anyway so this didn't foil his plan in the end.
Eric Carter perhaps the scene with bw was accidental, but home did get caught on purpose in the end
+Kale Chip Krunch Loki only planned on getting caught by Shield in the middle of the movie. At the end of the film he got caught because he lost. He didn't intend on getting caught and imprisoned at this point.
Eric Carter he needed a way back to Asgard. Didn’t you see the ‘I won but they think they did’ look on his face?
+Commander Karl FINALLY! The Avengers theme was amazing! I find myself humming it all the time, it's catchy, exciting, and overall just well composed.
I know! I can't believe he not only didn't like the music, he didn't think it added anything to the movie. I think its one of the best soundtracks of all time, and it makes every scene better.
Yes the avengers soundtrack was one of the greatest soundtracks in any comic book movie
I agree. Alan Silvestri was a genius when making the score for Avengers.

An 8/10? That's a bit generous. At most, I'd give it a 6.5/10.
Dan Badea I agree
id give it a 4/10 Enchanted Mango

This video is pretty bias. I mean justice league isn’t bad but it also isn’t good. In return avengers is a hard hitting film for marvel. Not that avengers does not have flaws and I completely agree with you on Loki because it wasn’t his best pretrial. But you have to realize Loki was almost meant to be a puppet setting up Thanos because that’s the whole reason he had the army and that’s what marvel is good at, they are the best in the business at setting up future movies. Also avengers was made a few years ago so of course their action scenes will be better
These are my opinions:
Steppenwolf also gets bashed around just like Loki, and Steppenwolf looks like a video game character.

Like how Cyborg doesn’t react or seem to give a fuck that half his arm and leg were torn off which is obviously excruciatingly painful”
Yeah what a great ACTION scene that was.
Enchanted Mango true I'm a die hard fan of DC but I'm sane enough to agree that JL was pure crap

Well, the Marvel Cinematic Universe isn't that true to the comics either. They've butchered Baron Zemo.
@@SeanWheeler100 Marvel comic nerds don't complaint about the changes made in the movies as DC comics readers do.. You know Snyder only handled the casting for both movies, right?

Yes. While Rotten Tomatoes may be unduly harsh on JL, the consensus is that the Avengers simply buries the Justice League.

Justice League? Better character development than the Avengers? I respect your opinion, but you're wrong.
This guy spent the last 24 mins convincing me JL is better than The Avengers. And then i look at the Tomatometer and the BO Collections.
Avengers was made in 2012 Justice League was rushed to be made in 2016
I assumed the like to dislike ratio of this was because butt hurt MCU fanboys and an Avengers loss to Justice League.

Now let's compare the first Avengers team up with the first Justice league(Snyder cut) team up
Compare the Avengers with Zack Snyder justice league and Zack Snyder justice league would probably dominate it
I already plan too. ;)
@@EricCarter12 thank you
I think you're confusing "bad villain character" with "character who's bad at being a villain"
16:32 lol what you said right there is exactly what happens in the Snyder cut
I love how you put these two movies together. All over TH-cam, I see Justice League vs. Infinity War and it bothers me. You can't put the penultimate Avengers with the ultimate threat with the origin of the Justice League. A movie with established characters after 10 years of development against a movie with new characters isn't a fair fight, and I thank you for not doing that.
By the far the most underrated reviewer on yt. Keep it up Man! 👊
+Alex Koch Thanks so much for the kind words Alex. :)
Indend
Steppen wolf cant be affraid of Darkseid because then shadow m demons would not follow him, thats exactually also a way how they defeated him, he was affraid of superman and the shadow demons turned on him
Comparing a 2012 movie to a 2017 movie
+Soccer Genius I've compared a 1990 movie to a 2017 movie too. Click the link below to see which one. :/
th-cam.com/video/U_zscfHjsCY/w-d-xo.html
And?
Who cares?
Just remember avengers didn’t have as good special effects scone it was made in 2012
8:20 this ages poorly unfortunately
That's unfair to compare a masterpiece (Avengers) and a failure (Justice league) to each other
Cyborg more like cgi borg
Great videos you articulated your point clearly and provided a decent comparison. However, the music section was unnecessary in my opinion you should have had a hero’s ability section.
well.. to be honest...JL heroes are powerful then Avengers but marvels movies are way to good...
I'm a die hard fan of dc but I had to admit
I agree buddy.
Question, Would the Justice League movie fared a little better if the villian was Starro The Conquerer instead of Steppenwulf?
This video is hilarious now that the Snyder cut is out. Literally all the problems you mention are solved🤣
😋
Did this guy really just say dc has more creative action sequences? Justice league, the movie where everyone basically does nothing but punch and kick? I'm avengers we have hulk and Thor combining to take down a whale, iron man reflecting his laser off of caps shield to mow down enemies, black widow using the scepter, Hawkeye arrows there's so much creativity and inventiveness in the way they fight. Marvel fight sequences are light years ahead of Justice League.
BROO DO THE SNYDERCUT PLS
Civil war introduced three new characters to the world; zemo, Spider-Man, and black panther so I won’t give Snyder and whedon a pass when the Russo’s pulled it off a lot better along with a Batman v Superman square
The DCEU sucks end of story.
Joseph Yep.
Joseph Totally agree with you, they ruined everything when they ended The Dark Knight
and of course mcu
Thor comes because of loki
And Nick fury knew what he was doing he knew hulk will eventually come out if you actually watched the movie correctly you'd know his plan all along was the avengers initiative
Danny Elfman's score for Justice League was good, but Junkie XL's score for Zack Snyder's Justice League is MUCH BETTER.
It sure is. It's no competition.
@@EricCarter12 damn. And to think Danny Elfman made sam ramis Spider-Mans iconic score. One of the best superhero scores of all time.
@@EricCarter12 so, this what you meant when you said "the music in Spider-Man 2 has been composed by Danny elfman, and it was back in the days when he was in his prime"
Wonder Woman close weapon, Sword with point. Batman far weapon, Bat shape throwing knife with point. Aquaman weapon used near and far, Trident with point. Flash battle move, returns Wonder Woman's sword by pushing at point. Everyone else punch, punch.
Hulk attacks, punch, gouge, flip, throw, drop, bite, slam (puny god) and of course smash.
Wow DC you lost! Ha a 2012 movie by marvel beat's a 2017movie by DC pathetic
+Unwound Paperclip Indeed it is.
Eric Carter I know, and I’m not much of a fan boy for marvel but I do prefer their films better then DCs
And thanks for replying to my comment cause nobody does
This video is 1/5 the length of Justice League
Brilliant review. I couldn't agree more with your conclusion. Can't wait for your future reviews! Keep it up!!! 😀😀😀😀
Justice League War to this very day, is my DEFINITIVE justice league origin film.
As a HUGE dc fan, I just pretend Justice League (2017) doesn't exist.
Your videos are just awesome.
+Staircase Producer Thanks buddy. :)
Iconic music the avengers theme is one of the most iconic and frequent musics I’ve ever heard in my life I mean even people who didn’t see the avengers know this song
Both are best...
The only problem I have with Justice League is the lighting is too dark.
