This is really the greatest pinball game Amazing and pleasing sound design Nice visuals Great Ball physics And even a Tiliting mechanic in the game I don't think most pinball style videogames would do, almost feels innovative for what it was This game is true nostalgia and was truly something that gave a lot of us of the windows XP era a lot of fun and good memories

My favorite memory of this game was when I connected that the 3 yellow lights at the top could be manipulated via pressing the flipper buttons. So, if you had 2 of 3 lit and wanted to move the third one which was dark in anticipation of the ball you could do that to more quickly level up.
lol pretty sure i was only ever able to do that using the cheatcode to move the pinball with the mouse, highest I ever got was the colour before that (gold or yellow I think it was)
I have dabbled with this game since I was 11 years old until now, 27 years later, and I must say there are several sound-combinations and lights on the board that I have never heard or seen before!! Did anyone else watch the entire video? I really thought there was a bug in the game when I saw the black hole's gravity activated for the first time and watched that ball curve, I genuinely thought "bot" when I first saw it, but it turns out you're just freakin awesome at it. Awesome vid man keep up the good work!
Yeah, I immediately cried foul on that and said the REAL game would never allow the ball to do that. But it turns out that back in those days you could tinker with stuff "under the hood". You could type 'list' into the computer and you'd be in the source programming code and if you had a clue you could optimize things. I did that with an Apple 2. I loved seeing my small changes changing things.
Who else encountered a situation where your ball would end up in the wormhole next to the main attack bumpers and then the wormhole would spit the ball back out only to immediately wind up back in the same wormhole for several loops?

I remember my siblings and I would play this and beat each others high scores, only for my dad to just beat all of ours when we were away. Turned out he just went to the files and just typed in a higher score every time...
To be honest, I actually got a really good high score recently. Let me tell you the story: I was pretty hungry, so I went to a restaurant and found A Star Wars pinball game. I thought It looked pretty fun to play. I even didn’t think I was good at the game, but I decided to play the game for myself and find out how good I really was. I asked for just a 1 dollar bill, because I was only going to play once. So I did, and the coolest thing happened. I got #1 on the leaderboards. It took me only about 5 - 6 minutes to end the game, so I ended up getting a high score of around 41,000,000. My parents were watching me, and were kind of surprised. So that’s basically about it, I guess I was really good pinball player after all. Who knows? That was just probably pure luck..

Pinball Dreams and Pinball Fantasies are from 1992 and they have a tilt mechanic and the ball physics are pretty much identical to this.
Don't forget all the upgrade cycles, goals, and progression!
