Thanks Warren! Love watching ya. So much better than the complete unintelligent trash on tv.
And on TH-cam
Hey Warren, it’s amazing how loyal to JD these farmers are considering the shit that they are pulling with the proprietary stuff. But gives you a lot of work if they don’t want to buy new! Save more than half the cost to rebuild the older stuff. Thanks much for the video my friend!
Try finding parts for some of the other lines of equipment……
Rule of thumb for the farmers that buy new is to trade before it gets out of warranty.
Man, I've had the exact same thing with a TGA MAN truck - I could clearly hear an uneven crank, had a cold cylinder, but the electronic compression test comes up good. Sometimes old school is the best
Warren. Always great when you drop a video. We never know what you,ll be working on. Nice job on the hay squeeze. I could see you straining your brain a couple times. I,ll bet you,ll be glad to see it gone, make sure you keep us updated on the John Deere. Thanks for sharing
Excellent video sir as usual! My farmer neighbor WAS a big JD fan and customer! He got fed up with all their BS! He has replaced all his equipment with CaseIh, New Holland and Agco products! Dealer support from these dealers are excellent he said!
Thanks for taking the time Warren 🎥🎬👍
Appreciate the Videos, Warren. It will be interesting to see what happened to the John Deere Engine. Glad to see your nearing completion of the squeeze. I guess work is work on the next two squeezes. Hopefully the next two are similar and you have a good game plan now. Thanks Again.
I see the jobs are still coming in thick and fast warren .
Never a dull moment.
At least when you have the other two hay squeezes to do
You will have a lot more knowledge on what needs to happen .
👍👍👍👍👍👍
from someone who have modified many keypads since the 1970s look in the keypad inputs you will find many direct wires from the switch base and solder from their connector instead of the keypad themselves. much better ridged location than small pins on the buttons.
Great video Warren really enjoy watching you work on this tractor. Glad to see you're getting closer to completion with the Hay squeeze project. Thanks for sharing stay safe Warren.
I can see and understand having this technology of being able to turn on and off each cylinder but, for compression testing, nothing beats the old mechanical testers in my opinion. Just sucks you have to do each one independently and that does take time to do but, worth it.
JD has done down hill after they stopped making the "60" series. Old blue or Red, then again, Agco has always made a name for itself.
Seems like a lot of money but, in the end, the guy will have a machine that's worth it's weight in gold, sorta say. Great video as always, cheers :)
Corporate greed mentality man you hit the nail on the head there no doubt about that
Corporate greed rampant in America
Great video Warren. Man I can’t believe you have to do two more hay squeezes wow what a job. Can’t wait for another video. Stay safe.
Always good watching.
Hello Warren. We seam to work on JD tractors a lot more than what we used to. We aite the damed things. And we know what you mean with the rocker cover's. Even some of the older models with those pencil like injectors. We always calabrait them before fitting them. These are new JD parts we are talking about.
This one looks interesting. I gotta feeling Warren is gonna have to dig a little deeper into this one. Can’t wait to see the outcome.
Appreciate the efforts to video and take us along, hay squeeze looks to be turning out well.
You’re awesome Warren! Love seeing your work! Thanks for sharing
Love the video. Keep up the good work!
The hay squeeze looks awesome,
HI Warren just of topic here, I was watching cole the cornstar y/tube the other day & he talked to the guy that invented big bud tractors & they are bring a new one out. You probably have her, so you can repair yourself. The most interesting thing he mentioned, you are probably aware go over 700 to 720hp & you don't need def, government juice on the engine. That may be certain states only, I don't no. Nice job on the hay squeeze.
Yeah, I just diagnosed in 2017 Nissan Sentra with a bad cylinder using the
OTC 5608 with my OEMTOOLS 27266 compression test kit this is after he came back from the Nissan dealer with a supposedly updated transmission software after it was complained that the car had no power but cool, I definitely look forward to another hey squeeze video
Nice that you can secure that haysqueeze business for the winter.
Thanks for the video man...see ya next time 👍👍👊
Very interesting and I'm looking forward to an update on this tractor. Look's like your the main man on those squeeze's now Warren, rod for your own back, or are you looking forward to the next two challenges?
John Deere's color is green because it takes a lot of green to keep them running💸
The best tractor ever is the Newholland TN series. Had mine for 21 years, and I had to replace clutch once, and it was my fault. No computers, no epa bull shit. Just put fuel in it and change the oil and filters. Runs like a top.
Thanks Warren. Best Wishes.
Can’t wait to see what’s wrong with the tractor !👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Morning from the UK.
Hi Warren you probably all ready know this but some of the allison transmission tcu have a analog out put pin for the a speed meter seen it on a allison wiring diagram but Im Not sure what series you have
Thank for the awesome videos
That squeeze project was no small job that’s for sure. My friend bought one and sold it 2 yrs later for 25k more and didn’t do anything to it but use it
Thank you.
Thanks for sharing
Two more ! That’ll teach you to be good at stuff !!
Hey Warren, what computer diagnostics system are you use? Been looking to get one for my tractors.
Beats working on a case puma
I hate those damn things!
Everyone bashing John Deere. If it is on Warren’s channel it is broken. Not all the tractors Deere made are broken. He works on a lot of Deere because there are a lot of tractors out there! Deere has to manufacture to reach a certain price. It is the best tractor they could be built? NO! Is it the best at the price? Depends on many factors.
That’s bull crap….. I used to work for North Americas largest privately owned custom harvester….., still talk to a bunch of their guys…… in the last year and a half not a single John Deere combine has left the factory passing final inspection……. Not a single one….. but yeah “they’re the best”……..
16:55 so what about warren bashing the heaps of shit
If that International was with automatic transmission - that plug not going to be there.
International Body Builder and software is one of the most specialized, proprietary and limited there is.
I’ve had a lot of grief with swaps from OTR trucks to the utility/work trucks that needed RPM or transmission line pressure raise for PTO operation, with International.
Thank you for the video Warren. Is your son's Lab's Eva and Colt still around?.👍
Oh yeah.
That's great, I still miss mine....but I've look after my buddy's orange dude Fox red Lab and my Collie co worker, thank you again Warren.👍
Trouble with JD is that assembly line workers are now called "Associates".
JD employees don't even wear JD shirts there like little kids behind counter
It's sad how far from reality these Big Companies have got .
You spelled asshole wrong
Hooray !! finally said the truth ! New Holland will run rings round JD for the working farmer ! your NO bloody fool Mate
Is new Holland and case the same tractors
Since you have now taken the head off. Was the bad cylinder able to hold pressure therefore the Texa unit was correct or was it still a bad reading?
Watching from Zambia . what diagnostic tool are you using there ?
good vid warren
Warren , we have had a 6430 deere with around 3600 hours very well maintained but it seems every 1200 hours a piston with get a hole in it and well engine is toast , any idea why this would keep happening?
Sounds like bad injectors to me
You have an injector over fueling
Warren you mentioned that Cummins fixed the top ring problem for the carbon build up but JD didn’t. How did Cummins fix the problem?
The best solution is to delete and stay away from deere dealers.their is a need for custom tractor rebuilders for pre dpf tractors.
Looks like the hard gasket is bad, between cilinder 3 and 4.
warren ,, knowing what you know ,,what machine would you buy;; rent ;;;or borrow
thanks ,,,,
What do you pay in rent for you shop or do you own it.
Maybe I wouldn't blame JD so much for issues, but can put blame against the government, activists, and the EPA for the stupid strict emissions junk that affects every single diesel engine for the worse... but happy to hear that you have had better luck with New Holland machines. But in your region is there more John Deere footprint versus other brands?
Old warren keep on fixing stuff
Never worked on a JD and probably never will, but as you say its a brand thing. Some people don't care what machine they have, they work out the best value based on price, reliability, parts service etc. What I will say is i will NEVER buy Chinese vehicles......
With all this emissions bullsit I always wonder how it's safer for environment if it's broke all the time and takes tens of thousands of not hundreds of thousands more dollars to repair when it breaks. Just because they claim tail pipe is efficient doesn't mean the whole engine is. How
It's not. It's just an extension of managerial power.
Government scam ! 100%
Only 5 minutes into this video. This might be a bit premature, but I’m curious as to why you’re not using SA as much anymore? (you’re always welcome to call if you wanna BS about things) ha
Can the neutral switch be tied to the brake pedal? Well no cause that makes it too jumpy and all that so no brake pedal unless only at full stop but even then be jumpy??? ( no rpms when off brake or will slam back in gear and jump??? )
Sounds like junk to me
The older deeres are good if you service frequently, 40ty thru 60ty series, cousins went 14,000 hours on their 4960's before overhaul using shell t1 40ty weight. Doubt they will buy a new deere because of quality issues, probably put everything in grass and all cattle. Stay away from junk deere
your'e not charging enough money....I wish there was a way to show you your worth so you could understand. man oh man. thanks for letting us watch
👍
195 dollars an hour good money...
Not really when diesel insurance and maintenance costs now!
@@George-dy3ptthat’s right insurance rent tool service truck diesel and consumables. Money comes in money goes out
I guarantee once all the costs come out its probably closer to actually taking home $50-60hr, especially when you take your miscellaneous time such as book work/invoicing ect in the evenings.
Not to mention when you make a mistake and have to do something over, not an easy task on this level of work. And I'm sure it happens to everyone
