That is 14 weeks of hauling and loading or 2800 hours of labor at a low of $25 per hour, which I don't think is even possible, that is $28,000 for two people working 40 hours a week. I'm guessing the labor would be double or even triple that amount but I will stick with that number for now. That is a total of $197,000 profit, not including the cost of equipment time (tractor/skid steer/etc and a truck and trailer). So if someone is willing to pay $400K for that, unless they know how to maximize the return on those cars besides just hauling them straight to the scrap yard, they are smarter than me or that guy is seeing value where there is none. Incredible amount of scrap. 400k with all cars removed to be able to sell the property for 2.4mil is solid imo. Total of 2.8mil not to shabby
