A tad bigger than my latest board run 🤣 serioulsy though I can't wait for the clear up and sort outs, please film it as I love them as much as teardown vids 🙂👍
Incredible amount of parts you have cleared out. Curious though since I have an older brother and some friends that used to work at an auto part junkyard for over two decades each and they mentioned that the large amount of scrap metals and electronics mess with their health. Not sure if you seen anything like this affecting you or your co-workers?
Ben, I randomly came across nothing that really excited you when you found yours. The vid hasn't dropped yet, asking if I can give a shout out to you , not only for being the GOAT you are but where I found info on this particular item. I can't say what it is yet , dont want to spoil it for the few viewers I have ....
@@GeneralSalvage I emailed them last month and was quoted $1.50-$2.50/kg for High Grade Telecom boards, which seems really low. Do you know if these prices are the best I can expect around here or do I need to have another chat with them?
Tbh I’m not super experienced with e-waste. If you find a place that pays well I’d be keen to know. I’m building a bunch of partly processed e-waste that I’m not sure what to do with yet!
I bet if you worked on the storage areas and the garage for the rest of the year into the early part of next year. You could pull off an even bigger payday, lol. And get all your storage areas cleaned up. Hey brother just messing with you, take care and I will see you on the next video.
7000.- payout. How long did it take you to procure, take appart and process all those boards please? And how much cash did you spend in addition roughly? Then we all could understand better :)))
Always sad to see, how much working IT Hardware is scraped out... Actually this stuff could be sold. But I also understand that you got tons of stuff and that there is no other way to get rid of it.
He would have made that $7000 on the hard drives alone here in the UK. While I appreciate that he would have to put a lot of time into data destruction, it wouldn't be hard to set up an automated server with dozens of drive bays. Could format hundreds of drives per day.
Damn, so many things that I could sell with good profit on auction bay in my country. Of course, you don't have time and it's not your job, to do it. Just saying.
The dust out of ewaste contains flame retardant forever chemicals and fibreglass from broken boards etc..working with that stuff all day means a mask is just sensible..
I’m incredibly impressed with how much you’ve gotten done. The yard is almost cleared out.
Awesome Ben! Glad to see you still doing well.
I just love your sell scrap day vids. I do not know why I find offloading at the scrap yard so relaxing.. Thanks and keep on scrappin'
Just found your channel and would like to see what the garage will look like organized and cleaned out!
Great video and a good score. These are my favorites. All that work gets distilled into $. I say Bully for you eWaste Ben. You are the real deal.

What happened to the chickens? Great video of all the boards
Same question
He got rid of them a while ago. It was too much trouble and interfered with the scrapping I think.
@@firesurfer chook was his favorite, after it died there was only one left….
Chickens are gone now, having a break from them for a while
@@eWasteBen Thanks Mate! Keep up the great videos. 👍

Have the hard drives been decreasing in size and weight over the last year or so, with the advent of NVMe drives etc?
Yes, even full sized are less in weight
would love to see some pick up vids, it's been ages since you did one.
Learning alot - keep showing ur work
Hey Ben are you gonna go street scrapping again?
Great video my friend
Nice haul! How much are you getting per kilo for laptops? I need to know if my yard is worth me selling it to here in the US.
in the US you should be looking at 90c lb on average
Less for broken screens, more for good ones complete
In my mind, this channel is a docu series about the journey of Director Krennic and how he gathered materials to build his "project"
What do high grade boards equal per kilo?
Because 7 grand is good
Does anyone know of an outlet in S.E QLD that will take this product?
Tall Ingots does e-waste
