Viewer from america here! Stumbled on your channel a year ago or so but find scrapping oddly satisfying. Love that you and others are able to take components to be reused instead of thrown in the trash like most things are now a days. Keep up the great work, love the videos!
Very frustrating. Gold is at all time highs and I'm dealing with recovering from Hurricane Helene. At least I only sustained minimal damage compared to many around me. Starting over from where I was starting over. 🤣 Sure do love scrapping servers. Some can be a little tricky trying to find that one screw or pull tab that tends to hide and slow us down.
Awesome video, I try to updated with your videos. I am always trying to learn what is worth spending the time breaking it down. Stay safe and enjoy the warmer weather.
Ive watched you videos for the full 10 years. Your right never seen you stop on a server board. Must of been a real pain, dont blame you. Awesome video and look forward to the next
Awesome marathon, as always! P.S. Recently I found in my area a PM refinery which also buys sorted E-waste from individuals. What a game changer! I don't have to deal with the chemicals myself anymore.
Appreciate ur knowledgeable ways and operations as well as production methods and hope you keep on making videos however I certainly understand that things change as well as priorities I wish i could push back some info as far as the things I've found outside of the box and different from those u c in aus., especially rural and suburbia America and the different boards and electronics that I have been blessed with from industries outside of some of ur scope , I believe you might of found it quite fun , anyway thanks for ur insight and as they say down under, good day!
Warm welcome back from Czech republic as well, I have been bench watching all of your srapping vids lately, we missed you. Gotta run, will watch the rest later tonight :) thanks for sharing.
16:17 Ben I started cutting my plugs with my battery powered pruning shears it saves my wrist from hurting and it saves time. I prepared over 350 pounds of wire in 30 min. Just a tip.
you were so close to removing that board around the 29 minute mark. the small blue thing just to the left of the screwdriver damage is a pull up tab to release the board from the chassis by lifting that up and sliding it forward.
Great video Ben , I love stripping ewaste as a hobby and started to doing videos now on here , love taking things apart so thought may as well video it while I’m doing it , love all your videos I’ve been watching your channel for years and I learned a lot from your videos , I save everything that may contain precious metals going to stockpile it till I retire in 18 years 😁
love watching your videos. I know you country don't have much as in resale, like in the states. That first PC there is more money in it in the states as resale for those with home labs ect than as scrap. Like the Hard drive cage and back plan people will buy to add storage to the server like the first one. you scrapped even the cables. I wonder what size the SD card was they might have used it as a VM server and use the SD as the boot drive

I went to a new buyer yesterday, I love selling my boards. Loved the end boards you showed in your garage. I could spend days looking at your scrap 😂
