This is what gaming is all about, just pure fun with great graphics.I know it's a fps game, but I get massive arcade vibes with it to, but that's fine with me.
It's an awesome game and it's beautiful graphically. You can tell they focused on gameplay and fun first then graphics.. as it should be. A game that looks beautiful but sucks is pointless. They nailed the gsmeplay. Combat/gunplay. The feel and vibe if the time and city. Feeling like robocop. The blood, gore and violence. It seem like a real Robocop movie and it's better than RC3 for sure. Using the og actors voice and Lewis face scan was a nice touch. The destruction to the enviorment looks amazing with wood splinters, paper, paint all flying around just looks intense during gun fights.. it is crazy that modern games do not have destructive enviormensts. This is a small studio AA game with less money and recources and they have the enviorment destruction. No excuse aaa games with money and recources shouldn't. (That is why remedy is goat studio they put details that they dint have to into their games. Control destructive enviorment is one of the best. I didn't enjoy the game but loved the destructible enviorment)I didn't know it was semi open world and they you had side quest and multiple endings. Bad, good, and true. I love that I could take a break from being a BadAss tank and give out parking tickets. Arrest graffiti artist or put the on community service (I did that and he loved it because he got to paint over bad graffiti or something) besides the final boss fight I really have no complaints about the game. Love the upgrade system (put every point you get into deduction first. Level it all the way up) loved the way you upgrade your pistol once I understood it. (I didn't notice the arrows that showed that the upgrade was a T, L, Deadend, ect) once I figured it out. Thanks to Google I loved it. Side missions were not repetitive. I was having a cat during one. Picking out a movie on another. It is a great game this studio did PERFECT. The only glitches I had were not game breaking. The characters bottom lip stuck to their teeth sometimes and some times the enemies would be dead but standing up aiming their gun still.
I love it. Just feels exactly like it should. Teyon are definitely a developer to watch going forward, they just 'get' what makes a licence. Now someone give them some money!
I have waited until now because I learnt my lesson the hard way far too many times for me to remember by buying games early - but I think it's safe to say as a Robocop fan I'd be a fool to skip over this. Great review, thanks.
Hello! Thank you, I'm glad you liked the review. I know exactly what you mean - pre-ordering can be a dangerous proposition these days. But I'm pleased to say that Rogue City was definitely made with the fans in mind. Enjoy it, and thanks for watching!
Hi! That's a point. At least there are no other references, that I'm aware of. Teyon were wise to keep it OG for inspiration, I think. Thanks for watching!
I really enjoyed it and will dive back in once New Game+ drops I would really like Teyon to go back to classic 80'movies into FPS games Die Hard Escape from New York A game set in the Predator 2 setting? Blade Runner Teyon if you are reading this...
Yeah, any of those would get my vote! If Teyon get the time and money, it's exciting to think what they could produce next. I'm sure they're cooking something already... Thanks for watching!
It's great to see Teyon go from the terrible Rambo game and actually listen to the feedback to make Terminator and now Robocop. I really hope they get the rights to do a Predator game.
Absolutely, I completely agree. You can see these guys have a passion for the source material and they're learning with every game. I'm really looking forward to seeing what they're working on next. Thanks for watching!
@@RokushoHasashi That would be awesome! I still play the Mega Drive RoboCop vs. Terminator every now and again, but apart from being very hard, it's not that great. Thanks for watching!

@@Video_Games_Forever yep we need to support these smaller studios that why I preordered it for day one release on physical of course 👍
8:14 "Tired Mechanics" ... That has to be deliberate and genius if so. Good review, on my wish list as my backlog will keep me going for now.

These should remake Die Hard Trilogy.
Yeah, that would be cool. I'm looking forward to seeing what Teyon are cooking next.
When you fight the robots in the factory is a call back to 2014 remake

We need an Aliens game.
Absolutely, I'll drink to that! Teyon would be a great fit, I think. Thanks for watching!
We need a Robocop vs. Terminator game now!!!

The Aliens game should be done like Resident evil 2 remake.
@@Devilsblood I'd be very happy with that - a proper mix of tension and action.
let us coop it with Lewis..
I like it! That option should be in the sequel. Or hopefully, the DLC (please let there be DLC).
