I guess the ER doctor had no knowledge of the vagus nerve when I had trouble breathing bc I felt weight on my lower sternum and diaphragm. I had a muscle across my collarbone that crunched and I thought maybe my lung was punctured. I requested an X-ray that was never done on my neck to reveal later 3 herniated and 1 bulging disc. If only he listened to me and wanted to help. He yelled at me for requesting an X-ray , but I was just afraid because I felt my oxygen being cut off and I slept in a recliner for a week upright. It made me feel crazy. I was rear ended at a stop sign and fell off a ladder twice. Looking upward would make me dizzy. I couldn’t lift my arms over my head bc of both shoulders. The last accident was 3 years ago and I’m still healing. The SCM massage that I learned from this doctor has brought me to a new phase of healing. It’s only been two days and I can’t believe another thing loosened! I know it’s going to be a process, but I’m thankful to learn and find some answers. Now when I bend my right knee, I get dizzy. I have an autoimmune disease ( Graves Disease) and there’s never really any answers ever for weird symptoms. I learned to stop asking doctors questions. I’ll keep looking for ways to break these adhesions and get oxygen to the area. My husband will put kinesiology tape on me tonight. Six years of inflammation and pain is going to end one day.

Most medical doctors are clueless, talk down to you, don't want you to understand much or ask questions and these Drs can do real damage. This Dr stands out for all the right reasons. He wants you to be healthy and knowledgeable to self direct your health. He is what we all need.

What are odds that a woman who had double mastectomy and reconstruction could damage the vagus nerve? This happened in 2001, Drs have no ideas what caused 26 pound gain overnight, and left me with massive systemic inflammatory issues. Vagus nerve stimulation has helped more than anything.

Two years ago I had dizziness, nausea and indigestion. I sat at a desk too much and at only 60 yrs of age was beginning to have that neck forward hunched posture. What helped me was osteopathy to help me be able to stand and sit upright, massages weren’t doing it. I still have times when I’m tense and the vagus nerve feels pinched. So I’m going to do these self massage techniques. Thank you!

I was diagnosed with POTS. Could damage/compression of the vagus nerve be causing my symptoms? I hsve a lot of tension, years of stress, many traumatic experiences... Now I'm literally unable to live the way I was. I was working, living, doing anything. Now I'm not working and I'm miserable. I need relief. I want my life back.

I’m currently experiencing gut dysbiosis due to antibiotics usage over last 6 months and it’s had an effect on my sleep patterns and the only thing that knocks me out at night is red wine, and I can’t sleep without it… Nothing works in helping me sleep not even any natural sleep supplementation.. however I am swapping the red wine for full spectrum RSO cannabis oil to help in that department!
I also have neck cancer in my lymph’s which began from a HPV P16 in my tonsils and this is where all the problems began, and it was the biopsy that caused the metastasis in the neck!
    I need help 😩

So sorry for your pain but I would try a brown linseed poultice. Put a mug of seed into a blender with a similar quantity of boiling water and a knob of butter and blend well. If too thick add a splash of boiling water. When cooled spread over any areas you think you need to get rid of scar tissue. This could be anywhere along nerves or operation scars. You could eat this too on an empty stomach to repair damage by antibiotics.

You are right, you must sleep. Passion flower , chamomile, and valerian root will not knock you out , but if you practice sleep hygiene daily they do. However , follow your good instincts and note below about T cells. Valerian and passion flower take time to accumulate and those gabba’s are not just for sleep . This is where a FMD is helpful for navigation. Everyone has different needs.
Re: Gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) has a significant impact on the immune system, suppressing the proliferation of T cells and inhibiting immune responses. GABA can also reduce inflammation and help damaged tissue heal faster. However, GABAergic components can negatively regulate immune responses, especially T cell-mediated immunity. GABAergic components do this by affecting the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the activation of signaling pathways

Dr Perry, It’s been 2 years when I lay down to sleep at night I feel like my heart beats stronger and I feel movement in my head. Almost dizzy like feeling. It’s hard to describe. I’ve been told it’s vertigo but i don’t believe that’s what it is. I do deep breathing is helps only a little bit. I’ve tried everything and seen everyone. It’s debilitating. Could this be caused by the vagus nerve ?

OMG!! Surprised there aren't more comments about this, but I have chronic anxiety to the point where my pulse is always fast and I feel it pounding in my neck. It's so bad I have a hard time sleeping well.
I am now learning that my vagus nerve is probably compressed but this is the first video where I saw real results. I just massaged the 4 areas you mentioned and I have so much relief. My collar bone area was super tight!!
I feel like I just came back from a deep tissue massage. My heart rate is slower and I'm more calm.
I have a desk job where I sit waaaay too many hours hunched over, poor posture and I have chronic anxiety. I'm the poster child for someone who needs vagus nerve healing.
Wow! Gonna do this everyday. Thank you!
