I really like the leads. Joseph Mawle is very interesting.... The movie kept me entertained as much as any horror movie does and I am grateful for being introduced to Dry the River even if they disbanded!

Had the great honor of watching these guys play live about twenty feet in front of me at the tiny Duck Room in St. Louis. Their music brought my wife and I together. Farewell, Dry the River.

I have to admit, this song was an AWESOME touch to The Hallow. It was so unexpected, but gave a haunting, somber tone as the forests were destroyed.

A slightly above mediocre horror film is suddenly elevated by this song and the slow camera panning around the forest.
The Hallow for me as well. However when I first looked into it there was just a live captured version of this song here on TH-cam. So many thanks to SLM for creating a beautiful video with the lyrics of this amazing song which I don't think should've been a hidden track, but a stand alone one in its own right.
+Stefan B. Another Hallow viewer here too. Man what a song. I was hoping the band would get some exposure from the movie, but they broke up last year. Damn. Hope to see more from the director, the film looked incredible. And I agree about the video, so thank you SLM.

They broke up? What a shame, it's always sad when a band with potential calls it quits in its infancy. I think one of the problem was a lack of exposure from The Hallow. The original soundtrack only has the score and the film's IMDB page doesn't list the band in the soundtrack section. I had to watch the end credits and check out all the songs to find Husk and even then the band made it more difficult to search it by having it as a hidden track on their last album.
New here, also from 'The Hallow' and it is so sad to hear that the band has split. :( And it saddens me even more when I learn that this song is the last song in the last EP they released as a band.

Heard this song after watching The Hollow (which was good), but this song was awesome and comforting. Now that I know the lyrics, I can sing along. . Turns out, it's kinda sad. Still a beautiful song.
I totally love this band watching "The Hallow"(movie), is the first time I ever heard this group.. for years I would watch the movie just so I could hear this song "Husk" at the end. Finally, I got a brain and researched it... and found more their music; which I love! "I love the lyrics to Husk; sounds much like myself and my life...

Have you tried looking at the credits sequence for the songs and artists? That's how I discovered this song. If it's not there then it's an original song by the film's composer, James Gosling.
