Ebay "Spares or repairs" Dell Inspiron 3847 budget computer

I bought a Dell Inspiron 3487 of ebay listed as spairs or repairs. Seller said that it boots but does not display any picture. Can we fix it or did I waste my money.

There' is a diagram on the Internet, can't remember how I found it. 3 of the pins have to be combined and then connected to the power on pin. If I can recall it's the first two with the fourth and the opposite one to the 4th as the power.

Hi, I'm trying to diagnose a no-power problem on this model. I want to rule out the power button as the problem by bypassing it, but it connects with 11 pins on the motherboard, none of which are marked. I can't find a diagram anywhere. I just want to jump the power pins to bypass the power button. I've looked all over for a diagram or anyone identifying the right pins to no avail. Can you ID them or refer to a link with a diagram? Thanks
