Now I'll have to unlearn all the Swedish I learned from the Swedish Chef: Bork Bork Bork.
He fooled quite a few 😂
Yes, that "Swedish Chef" has set back my Swedish Language learning by about 3 1/4 years!
Excellent lesions and teaching skill. I would suggest you to repeat Swedish words/Sentences for several times and in different speed so that beginners also can understand clearly. Tack.
Thanks for the feedback! :)
Your approach to teaching is so interactive - thank you!❤

A good Friend of Mine is a Native Speaker of Sweden. That means that both of his parents are from Sweden.
My Friend however isn't born in Sweden.
I started learning Swedisch in June 2020 and started to pratise Conventional Swedish by texting with my friend around May 2021.
As A German I don't find Swedish that hard/ difficult to learn.
Very illustrative and well-edited video. Tack så mycket!
Tack till dig! Glad you liked it!

Did you know that glad is also a Swedish word? It has the same meaning as English language.
@@minervasarela3176 there are a lot of words either spelled exactly the same or similarly in English and Swedish and they mean the same things. Makes learning easier for sure!

Would like to add that "man" in "Hur säger man? means one as in the English phrase "How does one say". Its a very common word and does not mean male or mankind in such a context.
Yes, you are right. We do use "one" for "man" in some other videos but we might have forgot in this one. Thanks!
Tack :)
😊
Jag vet inte is actually I know don't, so would it be unheard of to say Jag inte vet? The word placement switches is one of the most confusing parts for me. Thanks so much.
Hej! Whats the term for when Swedish (and other languages) cut off words when spoken quickly? I tried to Google it to no avail. Tack så jättemycket 💛
Great thinking there!
I would say that is mostly known as "reduced speech" or "reduction".
My guess is you want to google it and find out more about it. Which is a great idea!
But to be fair... very few people even talk about the topic. Or even know it is called "reduced speech".
So... yeah. Great thinking though rare thinking.
So don't be too surprised if you cant find a lot about it 😅.
Still give it a try! 😊
@@FunSwedish omg tysm!!
My favorite phrase I’ve taught myself so far is “Jag är nötköttet.” Because it’s true, I am the beef.
Was funny edit ! cool
Jag förstår your explanations what do you mean
Your explanations are brilliant, tack så mycket!!!
Kul att höra! Tack till dig för den fina kommentaren :)
Hi, why "vet" pronounciation of the "e" is not the same than in the word "vatten", and could you explain me the pronounciation of the ä bce I think it changes sometimes like "Därr" or "Snälla" ? Thank you so much
Bloody hell. Trying to say I only know a bit of English in Swedish compared to “un poco, Español,” is out of this world. I’m sure I could come up with closer to a full sentence about Spanish. I don’t understand yet how Swedish is supposed to be one of the easiest languages for English speakers.
Right? I can't even tell where the words start and end
Well swedish/danish people/ vikings went to England and so that's why English language has similarities with English language. For example glad is also an swedish word, that means the same and tomatoe is tomat and a lot of swedish word do have similarities
The best❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hey. This video is great.
But the popping sound effect with every image or word is very distracting. It might be an idea to use it sparingly in videos.
Hahahaha 🤣 this is really so great 😊
Thank you so much 😁
you are so good ,do you like fun swedish
Ska man säga "Hu shäjer man" istället för "Hur säger man" på göteborgska?

I think "How says man" can also be thought of as "How do people say..." because man can also mean mankind. :P
True!
Sounds cute 😊

Best way to learn Swedish is by having a live in LTR like I do. Nothing in Swedish is ever pronounced the way it is spelled. This way, all I have to do is copy what he says. However, it's still difficult
I am here because Swedish people say Trixie Mattel's Swedish accent isn't close at all (but perfect in every way) and I wanted to know by just how much off lol

Hvad mener du "IF" :D
basic communicaton is easy
so much anxiety watching this video, i wanted to focus but all the movies clips where sooooo useless, sometimes is good to put appart serious stuff from fun stuff, specially if you want people to be focussed
Then this is the version for you th-cam.com/video/do5lxbt68UE/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=FunSwedish :)
Algunos pronuncian jag (g)
in swedish
Im swedish
Alltså jag vet inte varför jag är här- Jag är Svensk
I wish you went slower and had pauses, less bouncing with video clips. People watching this are beginners.
Not everyone are beginners. You can also pause yourself the video :) But thanks for the feedback anyway.
Exactly! Got annoyed with her speed!
@@FunSwedishpausing the video won't help. Viewers have to skip back to re-hear what you've just said, then skip ahead to get past the interstitial memes. Or slow down the video playback speed. And why would a non-beginner listen to this?
I agree I think the jump video is too much, as someone with Adhd it's really hard to focus with the sounds in between. I like your pace, and pronunciation. But the jumpy inbetween videos just gets me distracted. Thankyou
Ma’am Eins fur Eins bitter
jesus, stop with the memes and allow for more repetition...
2:46 put it at 0.25 speed .
So unhelpful, right?
@@pusseytat so unfunny
@@azorian888 slowing it down will not increase number of repetitions you offer
It makes it more fun
U skip one letter? Wow, you need to have a word with the french guys, they skip like 90% of the sentence when they talk fast.
haha, true!!
jag fattar inte sounds like Ya fucked-it inter.
The more I listen to you the more I get confused. Bye Felicia
Who is Felicia?
Ur right
@@FunSwedish you 😹😹😹
the fast pacing of the video made it very difficult to follow, the time each phrase was shown on screen was limited and after some tries at pausing I lost it
Ooh no. Swedish is dangerous. Jar fattar inte. ?!
Kram
Too quickly
Swedish... Russian Poisons.
What do you mean?
You talk way to fast and have to many pop ups.
horror.
Tack så mycket!
Tack till dig!!
