First of all, I want to thank the author of the channel for making this beautiful and useful video for us! Many people are embarrassed to speak a foreign language if they have no speaking skills. People are afraid to hear criticism from others in their address. It all comes from having a psychological complex - to make a mistake. But, after all, he who does nothing is not wrong! In Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign language" states that we need to talk as much as possible: with yourself, with the mirror, with inanimate objects, with children and with pets. Find an interlocutor in real life or online. Talk without shyness. People won't care how you speak. They understand that you are a foreigner, as long as they understand you. They may even acknowledge your progress in their language and compliment you. However, always be prepared for criticism of your speaking skills. If you have the will to speak, you will gain an interesting interlocutor to consolidate your knowledge. Everyone is strewn with mistakes - don't be afraid to learn from them. As the Latin wisdom says, "walk and thou shalt not go astray". In the book "Polyglot Notes" by Yuriy Ivantsiv an entire chapter is devoted to the development of spoken language. Here you will find many useful tips and each student can choose a technique that suits him or her best! I wish you all the best of luck in your language learning!
Hej Hanna, I lived and worked in Sweden. I love your language but i am affraid i just learned a few words and phrases in Swedish. I lived in Varberg and i had the chance to travel almost all around the west cost and also around Stockholm area and Malme area, (about 70 towns in total). Sweden is a really beautiful country with nice, gentle and well mannered people, i met a lot of people and left great friends there. so i'm going to study Svenska with you to surprise my friends 🙂, tack sa myket ! Hejda.
'Vart bor du?' should be 'Var bor du?'. 'Vart jobbar du?' should be 'Var jobbar du?'. 'Vart' is used to indicate where you are going, not where you are.
This is generally a good native resource of pronounciation; one errata though; "god morgon" is actually pronounced: "go mårrån" like 90 % of all cases, so no "d" and "g".
What really sucks in Sweden, is their policy to pay almost everything by credit card! This is probably due to the lobbying of creditcard companies with the government. Sweden does not understand that there are tourist in Europe who dont use card - the reasons being age or costs. Why should I pay an yearly fee plus a foreign exchange currency fee, if I can pay cash? This is absurd. No wonder, Swedish Kronas are dicreasing in value so much.
This would be better with less English speaking in between the phrases. Or none at all besides the translation. Helpful to include instead would be repetition of the phrase in Swedish to help with pronunciation 😊
This could be a great learning video but it isn't because: 1) 90% of the talking is in english. Why? What language ware we trying to learn? When you repeat it, it gets really old rellly fast. 2) the words on the screen last only a short time. Why not let them stay on longer while the narrator rambles in English. 3) Speak the Swedish version more than once with some variations and start the first time super slowly. if that happened it would be good. as is, unusable more than once.
Tack så mycket, Hanna! but please, repeat 3 times the frase and don't teach us ridiculously formal and old-fashioned greatings etc like God eftermiddag! You're beautiful and super sexy!
Suomen opiskelijana ruotsalainen vuodesta 1980 asunut Norjassa Sunne Tukholma karlsberg karjalan linna Olen aina vastustanut englantia äitini on Norn of Jorvik york ja meidät pakotettiin puhumaan englantia ja skandinaaviset pakottivat herraa olemaan puhumatta ruotsia, koska he sanoivat, että olet tyhmä englanti mies, joten vietimme vuosia pakotettua englantia koulussa ja haluamme parantaa kanssasi, miksi tulin Ruotsiin päästäkseni eroon ahdistavasta englannista
Thank you Hanna for your videos. The problem with your teaching is you read Sweelin words once and explaining unnecessary English sentences. You need to repeat few times Swedish words as people coming to watch your videos to learn Swedish not English. I have to stop the Video to get back to your pronunciation Swedish words and it took my time and make me annoyed.

'Vart bor du?' should be 'Var bor du?'. 'Vart jobbar du?' should be 'Var jobbar du?'. 'Vart' is used to indicate where you are going, not where you are.
