    I blew a tire on I-25 Colorado Springs on my way back home to the Midwest and the people there were really helpful and cool to get me back on the road

      I noticed this too, people in Springs are nicer and they do help in cases like this.

    For anyone living in Denver, I recommend you stay there! You’d hate the Springs! Please! Stay in Denver!

    Denver vs Colorado Springs is such a tough one, that’s why we moved to Castle Rock 😜 But tbh, we’d prefer to buy and live in Co Springs long term.

      Castle Rock is one of our favorites! And long term, we think Colorado Springs is going to be a great play!

    Hey guys .... your videos are very informative and unbiased. Appreciate that. You mentioned the light rail from D to CS in the future plans. Do you know if Castle Rock will get light rail to Denver? If so, any idea of time frame? Thx Chris

    • @livingindenverpropertybros
      @livingindenverpropertybros  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for watching man! Right now the light rail ALMOST goes all the way to Castle Rock. The furthest south stop right now is at the Ridgegate stop. That’s about 5-7 minutes up the highway from Castle Rock, so it’s almost there already.

    Hey! So I have never driven in snow, how long do you think it would take for me to get used to it when I move to Denver?
    Love your channel.

      Thank you for watching! It will not take you long at all. If you have a decent vehicle or at least good tires you should be in good shape. Watching some winter driving TH-cam videos would help!

    Not seeing any information on possible light rail going to the Springs area any time soon, if ever.
    I'm currently in Orlando, considering my options now that I'm 100% remote. I'm no longer tied down to a specific area and since I really enjoy skiing and I think I could lead a more fit and active life if I lived in Colorado (Orlando is oppressively hot and humid most of the year, however, the winters are glorious) - we are considering moving to the Front-range. Since I consider myself center-right politically, I figured Colorado Springs might be a better fit in addition to the slower pace. I don't need to be "near" any large city but would like to be within 60-90 minutes for those rare occasions, but I would like to be within 15-20 minutes of a grocery store. Really, all I need is high speed internet and somewhat affordable housing (under $700k). Of course, I'm _really_ going to miss no state income tax.
    I'm also considering splitting the difference and looking at Castle Rock or perhaps northern towns/suburbs of the Springs. Tentatively planning a trip in the summer to check out the different areas to see what feels right before making any solid choices.

      Coming and checking out some area's in person is a great idea. Anytime someone is really on the fence on a few locations, a quick trip can help answer a lot of questions. There are for sure pros and cons to living in Castle Rock versus Colorado Springs, but you'll feel two very different vibes in each location. Being within 60-90 minutes of a large city should be super easy as well. Feel free to reach out any time you would like to dive into any specific questions you may have.

    • @livingindenverpropertybros
      @livingindenverpropertybros  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, we do mention that later in the video. The mountains are much closer than they are up in Denver. The typical resort mountain towns are further, however. That's what we were referring to.

    Well, you guys are obviously Denver realtors. Skiing? Take Hwy 24 and miss the bumper to bumper winter traffic going to ski areas from Denver. Geez, thirty-years ago, ski traffic from Denver was pure hell. Colorado Springs is completely self sufficient. If you're young and want the typical big city atmosphere, Denver is for you. Good luck getting around the metro area...figure 45 mins to go most places. That being said, Colorado Springs is exploding and our traffic is on the way to matching Denver. Colorado in general hasn't been proactive with their roads.

    You believe that everyone would need to commute to Denver. Incredibly naive! In town commute not even comparable! Denverites spend more time in town commute than the trip to CoS everyday. Couldn't pay me enough to go back to the Mile Hi city.

    • @livingindenverpropertybros
      @livingindenverpropertybros  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Nope, not everyone. Many people ask us what the commute is like which is why we brought it up. Thanks for watching :)

      It has a lot of great places to hike and scenery is good. Avoid the east side. There are nice areas. However, you can see what you get with low taxes and conservatives

      In the winter time everything goes pretty brown up until the springtime when everything goes green again.
