Unseasonably warm actually. Normally we are 30s to low 50s this time of year. Tho being Oklahoma we get our -7°F at times too. Wasn’t sure how temperature would play a part in the test plus all the warmer days it was 30 mph winds so couldn’t video.
I have part 1 video on my channel, but the first video just tested to see how much more grip stickies had compared to DOT tires. Apples to apples comparison on concrete what the traction difference is. This video was the follow up showing what some tire break in does to grip.
Wheeling in sand hollow for a whole week definitely put some wear on them and rounded the corners. There’s wasn’t much tire spin either but I’m guessing that corner is going to rapidly wear down until it’s no longer a pressure point and then the wear will slow down on that edge. Either way I’m still blown away by how much it gained. I fully expected maybe 200lbs or so gain. Not over 1000.
this is such a cool test fore tire grip
That’s an Awsome rig dude!
Great video top tires
Slow crawling man sick
Great follow up video. Man, I need stickies!
Nicely done a real follow up video!
65 during the winter sounds so nice

I’m not sure what I just watched but it looked like a cool test for something

300 something miles made a huge difference.

@@Bean4dip yeah i remember watching the 2000 psi video i though maybe a couple hundred psi more tops. crazy how much that little wear improved them.
you have a build thread on this cucv somewhere?
Unfortunately no, besides updates on the build on Facebook or Instagram.
