Most things to this point was part of his original outline. He admits in an old interview that he did change his original idea for the ending and extend the story after getting successful, but the broad strokes were probably vaguely outlined. The original story was only planned for about 80 chapters according to some estimates, but that was when he was new and unproven artist. Its unclear how much editors influenced his decisions, though one confirmation was that Sasha was originally intended to die in her first solo episode that we saw this season, but he was convinced to change it by editorial staff, so they say.
Yo guys. I saw the poll for your next anime series on patreon. And it was sad to see "Monster" getting almost no votes at all. Of course I'm not asking you guys to watch that one immediately or anything, but I personally think that among all the animes that was included in the poll, Monster would be the one you'd enjoy the most. It's a criminal psychology thriller which really pokes at moral compass and also keeps us on the edge of seats. For whats about to happen in the future, seeing Eren and Reiner always feels so heavy in my chest.
Eren used a triangle choke, armbar, and guillotine choke among other jujitsu techniques in this episode.
I knew you guys were going to like the fight scenes this episode. Isyama is a huge fan of the UFC and mixed martial arts in general like you said, its sick. Where tf IS joe Rogan 😂😂 and as usual your deductions are awesome! (side note, I know you just mentioned it in passing but I'm so sorry you lost your guys mother at such a young age, you guys are strong people I can just tell 💪)

I'm not sure what it's called in writing but that's not actually what he was doing. You see him with his arm up the same way after they fall. He was coughing and covering his mouth. He wasn't going to transform but it was certainly a reference/symbol of him being a Titan.
I stand on this by the way, he's not just going to spontaneously transform and kill Reiner and everyone else.
If he's going to partly transform to save himself, he can still possibly hurt Reiner / Ymir (valuable to Marley). And he's clearly outted right then and there, and there's still a bunch of Titans around. Is he just going to fully transform and kill everyone? NO

@@kazmolo watch the scene again. Look at Bertholt's mouth, his teeth are exposed and ready to bite. Nobodys mouth looks like that when they cough. He also grabbed on to Ymir and got saved before he started coughing. He fake coughed to try to look less sus, especially to Ymir who was looking directly at him and knows very well how titans transform.
You guys are my favorite reactors right now, you both are intelligent and look for the deeper meaning of things and it’s awesome, I think you should just keep these 3 anime for now but after here are some recommendations for you.
