I love reusing old furniture but sometimes you just need to spoil yourself with a new one, and I love your new desk 😍
The markets color selection sure is unusual, but I think it's perfect for nature and landscapes especially that usually markers are always full of bright colors that arr tricky to use

Nice haul. I love the desk! I’ve never seen that Caran D’Ache set before. Looks nice. I used cray pas when I was a kid. We just got some in upcrate. Good memories❤ enjoy your new stuff, can’t wait to see what you create

Thank you so much Barbara! I think the Caran d'ache pastel set was old stock from 4 years(ish) ago with where I got them. Possibly phased out maybe? I'll check out Jackson's if they carry it there.

@@SoYeahChrisCrafts I don’t need any more stuff lol. I have been giving quite a bit away lol. I wish postage to you wasn’t so much, or you’d be getting some. But if any of my friends go to your country I will let you know 😁

I can’t wait to see what you make with the oil pastels. I love the expressionists, though they aren’t the softest. I have made really pretty art with them.

I agree Lilia! I've been playing with them for about a week now since filming this, they are crumbly when you have a thick layer on already but again, they are great to learn oil Pastels with. Maybe I'll compare it to Paul Ruben's once I can get a set.

@@SoYeahChrisCrafts I don’t like the Paul Rubens very much, I got the 48 set and organized them by texture (because they are really inconsistent) and one entire row out of three are so sticky and don’t layer that they are practically unusable. I’m gonna have to try and use them with a palette knife or mixed with solvent.

I have the Sakura CrayPas they are not as messy. You should probably wear a mask when using chalk or soft pastels. Just a suggestion.
