- Load balancing is the main concern to any network administrator for increasing internet access probability. MikroTik router provides an easy way to make a load balancing network over multiple gateways with policy based routing. So, this video is designed to show the proper steps to make a load balancing network over dual WAN connections using policy based routing in MikroTik router.

Where to get WAN Ip ? can we assign any WAN ip of WAN ip? I have two connection wan connections from ISP. both connections has its own routers, I get INTERNET from each connection through router LAN port, I can assign the static IP to LAN port in ISP's provided router. Now will WAP ip be same in microTick Router OS , e.g if I assign WAN1 wire on eth1, then will ip of eth1 will be same as of defined in static LAN ip on ISP's provided router?

Sir i have two public ip - 202.166.198.32 and 202.166.198.33 have same gatway - 202.166.198.1 so i want configure 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.100 for wan ip 202.166.198.32 and 192.168.0.101 to 192.168.0.254 for wan ip 202.166.198.33 in one same lan what is the configuration in Mircotik.

Simple queue works on LAN IP. So, put simple queue as usual.

yes, you must add option: check-gateway=ping
for example,

add distance=1 gateway=Host1 routing-mark=ISP1 check-gateway=ping
add distance=2 gateway=Host2 routing-mark=ISP1 check-gateway=ping
/ip route
add distance=1 gateway=Host2 routing-mark=ISP2 check-gateway=ping
add distance=2 gateway=Host1 routing-mark=ISP2 check-gateway=ping
this is basically two routers in one correct? I can make a seperate LAN segment and use it specifically with the wan2 and it'd funcion as two routers

Easiest way is to setup WAN2 on another interface, and use route 1 mark for primary and route 2 mark for failover.

You can use any motherboard but RAM > 1GB and multi core processor will be better.
System Zone thx for the reply but I have an error during install e.g 1 > packages not found 2 > CD Rom not found etc even I have CD or DVD Rom and I have Mikrotik CD with complete packages when I try on virtual box with this CD then boots like charm but when I try to boot on system then following errors I mentioned above I face so if you have any idea of this problem then kindly tell me i'll be thankful to you .

System Zone bro now I just try to install Mikrotik with CD but now I am getting this error fatal error no hard drives found press enter to restart . system information optiplex 755 Intel core 2cpu 2.13 ghz and 40 gb sata drive 1gb ram .

That's not real load balancing. It should be 2 or more ISPs and clients from all LAN(s) go to internet via the ISP with less loading.

let's put aside the fact that you are using private address on a public interface, for a while, and comment just a "Load Balancing" part ...
THIS IS NOT A LOAD BALANCING ! This is just a router with two gateways. You cannot guarantee that half of your traffic will go through one and the other half through the other gateway - ant that is what the BALANCE means... so, nice try but no cigar...
