You asked and I am answering! In this tutorial, I am demonstrating one of many ways to make Kiss Cut and Die Cut Stickers, using the Print Then Cut method with a Cricut Explore Air 2.
There are many ways to make Kiss Cut and Die Cut Stickers; but this is the way that worked best for me.

What an excellent tutorial Delonda! I’m new in cricut and I have not been cutting my stickers right so I wasted a lot of ink and materials. I cant wait to try my machine again and hope it goes well :)

I tried this for the first time after watching your live last week and it almost worked. Lol I need to find the right kind of paper. I had some old sticker paper that worked, but the adhesive was old. I tried using the Cricut sticker paper, but it kept jamming my printer. When it finally went through it wouldn't pick up the lines to cut the stickers so I did it by hand. I will recalibrate my printer, try a different brand of paper and try again.
My customer loved the stickers though so overall it worked out. I made business cards for her and the stickers were the bonus gift I added to her order.
Well it sounds like a win! Maybe this premiere will give you a few more ideas.

Hi Delonda, great video! You are very thorough for us newbies. I am just starting my journey with stickers and have a few questions for you. Have you tried the Cricut Waterproof Holographic paper with this method? I wonder if the registration mark trick with the matte tape would work on that specific product with the Explore Air 2 (which Cricut intentionally doesn't list as a machine due to the sensitivity of the sensor lights on that machine). I have also seen a few tips videos for other glossy materials where people used a black Sharpie to go over the registration lines to make the machine not error. Was wondering if you have tried this method also and if you would recommend one over the other?
Incredibly informative tutorial! I am still new in Cricut and you are my best tutor. Is the tape you are using heat resistance or just a normal tape for the machine to read sensor marks?

I used the UV laminate instead of lamination film. They serve the same purpose, however the UV laminate will also prevent discoloration.

Miss Delonda, I printed a design onto clear sticker paper on my ink jet printer. I want to cut around the shape to use on black chalkboard christmas balls. Can I do what you said in this video or is there a different way to outline shape cut on cricut explore air 2? Please help!!!!!!
You can definitely do it that way. Use a circle shape, add your design, center it, then flatten it. Send everything to the printer and then let your Cricut cut it.
I really need an answer to this, don't know who to ask. First I have sticker paper and want to use for cups and car decals. What do I need to put on top to protect it from uv rays and water. And it says water resistant do I need anything on top. Question 2 if I use regular printable vinyl not sticker vinyl do I need to put anything on top to protect for car and cups? Number 3 what kind of laminate do you suggest and what is it called to get it. Thank you so much.
In my opinion, you can use either of the printable vinyl options that I used along with the StarCraft UV and it will perfectly protect your cups/water bottles.

The other day I saw a video of someone I follow on TH-cam she shared/showed that Cricut has increased the “Print then Cut” print area… it appeared to be perhaps a 7 1/2”x 10” print area now… I can’t remember if TH-camr mentioned exact “updated” size in her video…
I currently use my Silhouette Cameo for everything… this update will probably make me finally pull my original Explore out of the box which I’ve had since 2014… 😊
I heard that the size changed too but I didn't have the option to make mine bigger.

I love the glossy! Sometimes you might have to use scotch tape on the registration lines if it doesn't print.
