Tip for giants. Have someone go on the roof of the ship and kite the around the oblong round thing at the front (opposite side of door). This will keep them fully focused on you and allow teammates to safely get back to the ship. Also possible with proper position to keep it completely motionless as well. More than 1 giant I have not yet tested.
I have tested with multiple giants, it can be completely safe as long as you're right in the middle of the circular part on top and at the front of the ship. It's pretty safe, too; you can either get a crewmate to activate the switch when you're ready to go or just sprint directly down the middle towards the back of the ship. As long as you sprint and don't have much weight on you, they won't catch you, and they can't quite grab right in the middle of the ship (even on the non-circular parts). It is tight, though, so one slight misstep when they're right next to you and you're dead. Keep them in front of the ship and you'll be perfectly safe.
@@ЛошараМоисеев they are big of course they can pick you up there Its like a table you can pick up things close to you but not on the other side of the table
For the worm you can counter it by turning straight around and walking backwards when it attacks and you see the dirt rise up. This is because the worm attacks in front of the player so the player will walk in the middle of it when it attacks. The worm does not attack when it is right under the player.
Something to note about most of the enemies in the game: They do not appear to actually have attacks/attack animations (the Thumper seems to have animations, but behaves this same way otherwise) -- Most everything seems to damage/trigger via contact (including the Bracken, as it will insta-kill you if it's forced to path through a player to try and get away). More akin to Super Mario enemies than horror enemies. Giants seem to be different since they have to actually reach to grab you, but it is still contact with their 'hand' that triggers the grab, so close enough.
Tips for Baboon Hawks: Baboon hawks only attack if their pack is larger than the amount of players. 2 baboon hawks will never attack 2 players (it will damage you if you get too close though) but they will attack 1. Secondly, baboon hawks actually have their territory visible by little shiny pebbles and they will bring dead players to this spot Lastly, sometimes baboon hawks can have an alpha that is noticeably larger and leads the other hawks around. Im not sure if they do more damage or not though :(
I've managed to stun a giant by pulling the pin on my grenade as it picked me up, I couldn't see shit but I could here the muffled screams of my friends yelling "OH MY GOD IT WORKED RUN" I managed to recover before big man did and made it home safe.
Tip for giants. If you don’t want them roaming close to your ship, turn the lights off! In my experiences, as their log states that Forest Keepers are curious creatures. They are attracted to the light. And will linger around it! So if you land on a moon when they are common. Turn those lights off!
You can use the stun grenades after they've been consumed, and they won't stun anymore, but they do make noise and can be thrown up to 5 meters away. Not too useful in most cases, unless you're on top of the ship and can bait them to a safe side so teammates can get in, or by throwing it off a ledge somewhere and walk the opposite way. You can also throw and attach them to the roof of the ship etc. if you look almost straight up for some reason. You can use the ladder to get on the "antenna" of the ship and the giants have to cope and seethe, and you can pick the ladder back up once the ship starts moving. The amount of times something has been intentionally or by chance sealed behind a vault door, and someone removes the apparatus, "releasing the hounds", is innumerable. If you go on offense and use the ladder to get to the fire exit, ig you jump and left click at the apex, it can be easier for some, as it deposits you at the top, and you can jump move to the door. Be careful not to jump against the cliff, as I have lost a ladder by doing that. It just spawns inside the terrain and you're fucked. I wish the radar booster could be teleported (with both teleporters), since it's otherwise treated "like a player" and can be targeted by the teleporter. It's useless atm and no one buys it, but that'd make it safe to use, so you know it's retrievable as long as someone is alive, and would allow for "scouting" with the inverse teleporter once or twice per map.
Something you didnt mention about the jester is that you can loop around them eternally by making him turn always by running by its side, this way it doesnt gain any speed and you can hold it in place without getting on stuff, this buys time for people to get out of the facility or to avoid getting killed until tpd
Great video, I do hope they tune back the forest giant and thumper just a bit. The thumper maybe is fine, but when a forest giant is camping your ship there’s just nothing you can do but sacrifice a teammate to put it on cooldown.
Nah, thumper is definitely fine. Easy to deal with with a shovel, doesn't hear anything. Maybe some way to counter it with no items for the inverse tper, but not really sure how
If a dog does a charge attack at you run left or right as soon as you hear the audio que and that will miss even if you have no stam left. I've ran from the main offense door back to the ship without stopping and 2 dogs tried to kill me and this worked to doge them
I had my stuff get struck by lightning near an eyeless dog, ig it wasn't close enough to die and for some reason the sound of the lightning made it charge straight at me and I died :(
You’ve got better solutions for the snare flea than my friends and I could come up with. If we didn’t have a weapon we would just guide the person with the flea to a pit and make them jump in
For Eyeless dogs, I learned if you just keep using the clown horn the dogs don't know what to do about it and just bug out. Once you stop using the horn they will as usual slide attack the area you last used it.
Side note to giants: the methods you suggested are the best. Ideally, teleporting or finding things to hide under is the best way to go. If for whatever reason you get found by them while returning to the ship with an item and no temmate to tp you, you can (unless it got patched) crouch tap slowly away while under the giant. Their hitbox on the crouch level isn't big enough, so if you continue to tap the key slowly away from them right beneath them, they can't get you. The reason you can not fully crouch under them is their hitbox crouch level is like a stick figure beneath them so they can grab you. I wouldn't recommend this. it's more of a no stamina with heavy items kinda of a thing to do. If you manage to tap far enough slowly from them, they will continue to follow you until you find something to hide under. (Such as the ship), and then you are good to go.
for the earth leviathan the best tip in gam and in practice is to RETRACE YOUR STEPS the AI trys to predict where you are going to go so if your going forward and the queue pings for the worm just walk backwards and you can dodge it
You know someone plays too much if you feel like YOU play a game to much, just to see 200 hours on a game you have gotten two years ago. That's me on Terraria.
The blobs get faster the more you hit them btw. Forest Giants need to be nerfed but you can also smack one to drop somebody and stun it apparently. Also they dont eat multiple people sometimes??? Not sure. Ive seen it happen both ways. You can also stay safe from Ghost Girl on the TOP of the ship.
I couldn't tell if the slimes actually sped up when bonked, they definitely make a sound and jiggle more aggressively but it seems negligible, as for giants I haven't tested whacking them to make them drop someone, will probably do that as some point!
With the forest giants I found a safe way of dealing with them, have a teammate climb the top of the ship and lure them, they will focus on you while the crew can safely enter the ship
Great guide, I knew most of this but the tip for titan at the end is a game-changer, every single time I've gone to that map we had dogs camping the staircase outside lmao
I've had a spore lizard charge me once. Usually just let them make their sound and wait til they walk away, but this one just decided to run at me and bite me.
They only attack if they are backed into a corner. Was it at the end of a hallway or something? If so, it attacked because it couldn't retreat anywhere.
Great guide, once that railing thing gets patched stun grenades will be one of the only guaranteed ways to kill monsters. I wish you talked about them more since they're incredibly useful. They also might get a buff so they can be used against coil heads like the log states
Thank you for making this video. Your discoveries with/without your friends help me understand my own thoughts and ideas about gameplay strategies for Lethal Company. I just realized that there are multiple ways to handle the beehive.. and I love how all of it is possible but yeah... varies in efficiency. I personally don't know about coordinating and or placing the beehives by the ship: I mostly just pick/drop and go inside a building to lose chase (the roaming bees are avoidable). My associates prefer to have two/three people work on one hive. One person by the teleporter, one to grab the hive, and one to be chased by the circuit bees. They prefer to do it after looting the bunkers.. before the sunset.
I have been thinking about the extension ladder, the jetpack, the powered doors, the shovel, and the roof of the ship. About how they can be utilized for the team's advantage. I mostly could not share my own discoveries, or thoughts to the gaming circle I am around with. I don't feel entitled to lead, or argue with people who play games more than I do. I try to enjoy the group and solo experience for myself. Guides like yours could really help a lot. Thank you.
I found that if you can leave the facility while the flea is on you it will automatically come off. But the standing still one is also really good I’ll be keeping that one in mind
Snare fleas Do not immediately kill you if you're playing solo as that would just be pure ass to deal with, I've just read the description but most don't so I'll say it here. Edit: Giants can also be distracted momentarily by the store drop pod, most cases they will just stop and stare at it in which you can freely run past however it can be a little inconsistent depending on what or who they are focusing on.
On titan, for some reason, if you are inside the ship and you are haunted by the girl, it won't come up to you if you will stay near camera terminal and instead will just get stuck or something as long as you don't go out. I think going on the roof of ship also works, but I didn't test it, so can't be sure. Back to titan, you have to go 1 staircase lower on the stairs, because they are a bit closer to the ship and when you drop items from there, they will be really close to the ship (like 6 feet trom the railing) and they wont get stuck on staircase (if you drop them at the edge of the ext. ladder of course) On mansion type levels, you should NEVER get on railing or bookshelves as Thumpers, spiders (only railing) slimes (also only railing), jesters and etc still can get you. Instead, it's better if you find a big enough bookshelf somewhere in the mansion (not at the entrance!), stool, tables, furniture in kitchen, I am not sure about couch as it's kinda low, but yeah, I think it works too. If you see a landmine that is right next to the corner of a wall, you can run on it and quickly move behind the corner where you can't see the landmine and it shouldn't kill you. BUT! When it's near doorways, you shouldn't like get close to doorway corner, instead you run past and try to push yourself against the wall or something, because it will kill you if you stay at the corner of doorway, probably cuz model clips though a tiny bit and gets you, or your shoulder is peeking out. You can jump over turrets. I heard that if you smack them with a showel and crouch, they won't be able to shoot you and you can crouch by, but I didn't test it. Eyeless dogs can be lured to the rear of the ship with horn upgrade and you can basically keep them there forever, I think you even can kill them with extention ladder while they are there. Also, when extention ladder is about to.. uuh close, it makes a beep sound for 5 seconds which makes a lot of sound and can lure dogs to them. You can zap forest giant right before he reaches you so you can regen some stamina or get behind something with a roof. Forest giant will only grab you when he can come right at your position (not where he can grab you, if he is too tall, he will just stand near you and shouldn't try to reach for you, but don't get close to him as he still can get you I think, should work if you are high above where he can't walk to as well, like places with ladders). You can hide behind trees and other objects, and as long as it doesn't see you, you should be good (doing stealth in lethal company is insane). Oh and also, be sure to make your FPS capped at 60, because if you make it higher, you will get fall damage much more frequently than with 60 fps. You can survive around 7 jumps from any height, fall damage is quite low in this game.
Also the small door height bookshelves are quite sufficient to stop a bracken or jester from reaching you, very good for buying time for a teleport or for them to lose interest.
I believe part of the fun is that some situations are meant to be unsurvivable. Like with that leviathan can sometimes jump so fast you can't escape him.
THIS is the kind of video I was looking for. Finally an educated and experienced player giving us tips, not some run of the mill, clickbait advice. Edit- Also by any chance, do you play with others or just with friends? Is it possible to play with you whenever there is a spot?
Awesome guide 👍💯 learned some tricks (and went from hating Offense to it being my favorite map 😅) by watching your VOD when v40 came out and learned something new again. Looking forward to more Lethal Company content!
Pro tip: with the snare flea in multi, if it jumps on your head and you had a melee item- you can pick the item up again (if you find it) and then when you swing it'll knock the snare flea off of your head.
Saw this in APlatypuss' video: in mansions, there's a few bookshelves you can jump on that act similarly to rails in terms of safety. You're safe from most creatures. And you can't fall to your death either.
for forest keepers if they're camping the ship door you can self-teleport yourself and then get grabbed in order to force the keeper to use the eating animation, which then anyone around the ship can run in w/o having to drop their items
As far as I'm aware, the snare flea will hop off once u hit critical if you're in single player, but in multiplayer it'll just kill u unless someone hits it off
One little thing that I’ve heard for the Thumper: It is really good going in one direction (like a hallway), but is bad with corners. Also for the Bracken/FlowerMan (from what I’ve seen) flashlights are actually a decent way of making them retreat without them attacking you, dunno if this is true or not, just wanted to point it out! Oh and that giant horn thing… yeah it attracts the Giants.. so you can also screw over your friends with that :p
Mannnn, I have 100 hours and I didn't know how to properly deal with the bunker spider and thumper without jumping on some rails and bashing its head in, kind of feel that jumping on a railing might get changed soon and might not work. Thanks again for all the tips.
Walking back and swinging the shovel was a known way to kill those ever since the game came out, that's a way to deal with almost all melee mobs in video games
I believe you can also use the shower upgrade to reset sanity and get the ghost girl to pick another target according to the wiki and the one time I tested it so that is a good option
You probably already know this but if you press b on the terminal to go into the item placement menu, walk inside of it, then scroll wheel out of the item placement and then don't move (mouse movement is fine just no wasd) you can stay hidden inside of the terminal and this can protect you from ghost girl.
I accidentally discovered that when you leave a building with a snare flea on your head it will immediately die. So, a main entrance or any fire escapes will kill it just by going through them.
You can *POSSIBLY* kill the forest guardian, its just completely luck based. I have a video clip of me using a zap gun on a forest guardian while a earth leviathan was under me and it ended up eating the forest guardian and permanently killing it. I also have a clip of a leviathan eating an eyeless dog that was lunging at me. I was using the mods "Brutal Company" and "More Company" which may have altered the game's AI (definitely alters mechanics of the game).
i have no clue if someone else said this, and it may not be true as if the v45 update (it probably is), but for the sand worm you can dodge the attack very easily. once you hear a rumbling noise, just walk backwards. there will be a soft rumble with a slight crescendo, and there will also be some particles that come out of the ground. i think the sand worm tries to predict your movement and just assumes you will continue to move in the same direction, but simply turning 180° or sprint backstepping will help 👍
tip about worm (you probably know this by now) it try to lead where you're going to be, so once it start rumbling just turn and run a different direction, and it'll pop up where it thought you'd be, which is the direction you would've gone

you can avoid the ghost girl by just not looking at her, atleast from what I have observed from my own gameplay. Just listen for her breathing/laugh or other noise and wait for it to disappear before being able to look behind you
You can juke out the jesters if you manage to run past it as it charges at you it will fuck up its pathing and it will start running off in a completely different directions you need to manage to just run past them as it charges at you in murder mode it then runs off in a random direction happened to my mate while we where all watching him
The worms will always attack ahead of the direction you where moving at the time it triggered so once your hear it turn in a different direction and run it will attack where you where going not where you are going now.
i feel bad for the thumpers. they're likely confused because they see brightly colored things holding objects and running around, in their territory too. they're probably just territorial creatures. the screech they make when they get hit breaks my heart
I think the snare flea lets you eventually go because of some kind of timer that goes down when the flea is "provoked," making it flee after a certain amount of time. I am likely wrong, but that's my guess as to why it probably does that. Also, the pun was not intended, LOL.
yesterday while playing i was able to get rid of ghost girl while at the main entrance. I didn't look at her to start her skipping, but i went out of the building, back in looked at her, then back out and in. She was gone for the rest of the run but idk how well it actually works.
Me and a buddy killed a Brachen almost completely by accident. We were filming a video for a video editing class and we noticed the Brachen coming up behind us. We both had shovels and my boy just sent it, surprising both me and the Brachen. Naturally, I followed cause FOR THE LOLS. The Brachen went full retreat but was stunned by a shovel hit, then I hit it, then he hit it. Dead brachen. No rail trick or anything. We haven't been able to replicate this as of yet so we thick it was just a lucky one time event.
respect to this guy, he went through multiples traumatizing experiences to get the information for us, I legit had small heart attacks watching this video due to my unresolved PTSD from working for the company
Iirc if you don't ever look at ghost girl she will never chase you. Also I think being in the ship decreases your sanity the most so if you have a console guy it will (usually) be them. Since the console guy won't be looking behind them anyways, you won't have to worry about it as much.

Somethings I have learned that are really odd: The hairdryer can anger the company The extension ladder has the same placement sound of the shock device from it steals The radar booster is the phantom shock device from it steals The Jester's arm has similar details to the it steals protagonist's arms The employees hold the flashlight and run similarly to the it steals protagonist Theres a bug where the Girl's face is invisible, this probably occurred in the public demo that I also participated in Theres a bug that causes you to see the silhouette of a employee in a endless void In earlier versions of Lethal Company, when using the chat message system. Pressing space actually caused you to jump, this had been patched later on. The Flowerman has the exact same mechanics that Legs from it steals has. There is absolutely nothing but endless terrain out of bounds. Zeekerss states that none of his games take place in the same universe. Though there is evidence that suggests otherwise if you play his other games. Lethal Company uses the DunGen unity asset, that is how procedurally generated maps are created. The game originally didn't take place in moons at all, instead you went down elevators and went into mines. Though this changed shortly after. I once swore I encountered the Mimic back when I played the first private beta version of lethal company when I saw a employee quickly limp like a zombie across a hallway. This had been proved otherwise and people called me insane. @@Wurps
One little amendment to make: Hygroderes (Slimes) can slowly squeeze under normal doors and get to the other side. The only way to trap them is security doors.
The snare flea thing seems to be a singleplayer only thing, because i heard they leave on critical anyway, regardless of your tip. So yeah, get that mine out of the way or find a pit to die in is probably the way to go.
Teleporting bodies is okay to do around the Eyeless Dogs, one noise that does NOT aggro them. Same with accessing the terminal to ping a radar booster.
Yeah I assume it would work but it would require a good bit on planning as well as cooperating with good communication between the two people. As for power its extremely lucky if its nearby AND theres a door
One thing about the dogs is that they cannot hear the radio when someone is talking to you through it, so you won't die for something out of your control if someone else tries to radio you. Activating the radio does attract them tho.

@@rihardsluu Flick the light switch in your cabin. It should appear originally on the wall to the left of the control lever
Hoarding bugs always become permanetly aggrod when you steal from their stash
I often seal vents behind doors whenever I see the opportunity, there are terrors behind those doors waiting to be unleashed
the consumed stun grenades can also be used to trip mines from a distance and kill things
@@Wurps you can close vents in this game how?
@Yiolet.J he closes the doors next to vents, essentially blocking the vent off
Something you didnt mention about the jester is that you can loop around them eternally by making him turn always by running by its side, this way it doesnt gain any speed and you can hold it in place without getting on stuff, this buys time for people to get out of the facility or to avoid getting killed until tpd
Great video, I do hope they tune back the forest giant and thumper just a bit. The thumper maybe is fine, but when a forest giant is camping your ship there’s just nothing you can do but sacrifice a teammate to put it on cooldown.
Yeah the forest giants really love camping the ship, which almost requires a teleporter to deal with via the bait method
Nah, thumper is definitely fine. Easy to deal with with a shovel, doesn't hear anything. Maybe some way to counter it with no items for the inverse tper, but not really sure how
fun fact: It may take 12 shovel to kill 1 eyeless dog but they can be one-shot by lightning
the timing is a bit tricky tho but a few managed it
**Throws loot next to dog**
"Why did you do that? That item would give us 100 extra dolla-"
**BOOM**
That's pretty funny, it'd work well since they would be attracted to the dropped item noise too
If a dog does a charge attack at you run left or right as soon as you hear the audio que and that will miss even if you have no stam left.
If we didn’t have a weapon we would just guide the person with the flea to a pit and make them jump in
This sadly only works in single player I believe. Pit preferable to kill both player and snare flea unless u want the corpse for fine evasion.
(Such as the ship), and then you are good to go.
for the earth leviathan the best tip in gam and in practice is to RETRACE YOUR STEPS the AI trys to predict where you are going to go so if your going forward and the queue pings for the worm just walk backwards and you can dodge it
It just follows you directly, you can see it doing so on the minimap in the clip (i've tested this a decent amount just didn't have more clips)
That's insanity that you've amassed 220 hours, I got the game just last week and I felt like I was playing it constantly and have 20 hours.
@@WurpsThat ladder titan trick is gonna save many runs, thank you
You know someone plays too much if you feel like YOU play a game to much, just to see 200 hours on a game you have gotten two years ago. That's me on Terraria.
i got it like 3 days ago got around 17 i aint play for 1 day tho
I got 19 hours in just 3 days, I have an issue lmao
The blobs get faster the more you hit them btw. Forest Giants need to be nerfed but you can also smack one to drop somebody and stun it apparently. Also they dont eat multiple people sometimes??? Not sure. Ive seen it happen both ways. You can also stay safe from Ghost Girl on the TOP of the ship.
I couldn't tell if the slimes actually sped up when bonked, they definitely make a sound and jiggle more aggressively but it seems negligible, as for giants I haven't tested whacking them to make them drop someone, will probably do that as some point!
U are not safe from ghost girl on top of the ship
The only safe place for the ghost girl is orbit
Blob only speeds up once, it doesnt matter how often you hit it.
The girl can climb the ladder to the top of the ship.

Thank you for your coverage!! Nobody else has gone this in-depth about the mechanics of the game.
Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed! I am definitely a bee enjoyer, my teammates tend to die around bees so I do it alone for their safety, it's fast anyway
I found that if you can leave the facility while the flea is on you it will automatically come off. But the standing still one is also really good I’ll be keeping that one in mind
it also comes off if you get teleported, but i guess that's not something you'd get in the first 3-6 days
I should have included this even though it's a little niche
It also comes off is someone smacks you on the head with anything
Back to titan, you have to go 1 staircase lower on the stairs, because they are a bit closer to the ship and when you drop items from there, they will be really close to the ship (like 6 feet trom the railing) and they wont get stuck on staircase (if you drop them at the edge of the ext. ladder of course)
On mansion type levels, you should NEVER get on railing or bookshelves as Thumpers, spiders (only railing) slimes (also only railing), jesters and etc still can get you.
For turrets, if you hit them with a shovel, they will shoot in 2 full 360 degree turns which can be timed to give an opportunity for escape
with crouching its a little inconsistent i’ve found but it does work
Little girl can definitely kill you on the ship, has happened multiple times, even while the ship is departing
Agree
It’s a solo feature that snare fleas get off when you’re at critical health.
this is the best most thorough explination of them all, above any other the big channels

Many thanks! Hoping I do more content as well
I love offense cus you can jump on the pipe that leads to the fire exit as the ship lands and you feel awesome😎😎
March prob better because of bees and 3 fire exits but offense is just easy mode
Pro tip: with the snare flea in multi, if it jumps on your head and you had a melee item- you can pick the item up again (if you find it) and then when you swing it'll knock the snare flea off of your head.
Literally in the video
Saw this in APlatypuss' video: in mansions, there's a few bookshelves you can jump on that act similarly to rails in terms of safety. You're safe from most creatures. And you can't fall to your death either.
for forest keepers if they're camping the ship door you can self-teleport yourself and then get grabbed in order to force the keeper to use the eating animation, which then anyone around the ship can run in w/o having to drop their items
15:20 this coilhead was on a mission I had no idea they could even do this and now I'm horrified
Bracken doesn't care about flashlights, it worked because you need to look at him to scare him off
Now I'm ready to be a real valuable asset to the company
R.I.P rail trick
man you flying with that jet pack was cleaner than ill ever be with it XD
Best guide I've seen to date! Thanks!
Mannnn, I have 100 hours and I didn't know how to properly deal with the bunker spider and thumper without jumping on some rails and bashing its head in, kind of feel that jumping on a railing might get changed soon and might not work. Thanks again for all the tips.
Yeah that might get changed, I think it's pretty fair though tbh, I've seen many fall to their deaths trying to even get on a rail
Lol how I'm 20 hours in and those 2 are less scary than bracken for me(given that I have a shovel)
@xenird Crazy how everyone knows these tactics 3 weeks later huh?
Almost as if there are now hundreds of videos of Lethal Company...
@@lightpro7 constantly attacking with a shovel is NOT an advanced tactic
Walking back and swinging the shovel was a known way to kill those ever since the game came out, that's a way to deal with almost all melee mobs in video games
Lol i love the hoarding bugs, they seems to be pretty chill
I like how they just rob you and go away like little goblins 😂
I like to give them keys and send them on their way
They have their own quota to fill
Pretty chill until you gets a golden bar on their nest.
I believe you can also use the shower upgrade to reset sanity and get the ghost girl to pick another target according to the wiki and the one time I tested it so that is a good option
You probably already know this but if you press b on the terminal to go into the item placement menu, walk inside of it, then scroll wheel out of the item placement and then don't move (mouse movement is fine just no wasd) you can stay hidden inside of the terminal and this can protect you from ghost girl.
so yea same thing as jumping on top of the object - anything that stops her from touching you
I accidentally discovered that when you leave a building with a snare flea on your head it will immediately die. So, a main entrance or any fire escapes will kill it just by going through them.
Great guide! Been looking for a proper one like this since I started.
Sandworm deletes any entity, it can be loot, forest giants, or even electro bees.
(works in vanilla)
i have no clue if someone else said this, and it may not be true as if the v45 update (it probably is), but for the sand worm you can dodge the attack very easily. once you hear a rumbling noise, just walk backwards. there will be a soft rumble with a slight crescendo, and there will also be some particles that come out of the ground. i think the sand worm tries to predict your movement and just assumes you will continue to move in the same direction, but simply turning 180° or sprint backstepping will help 👍
local shovel god bringing us insight!
big true
tip about worm (you probably know this by now) it try to lead where you're going to be, so once it start rumbling just turn and run a different direction, and it'll pop up where it thought you'd be, which is the direction you would've gone
8:36 Holy shit PLEASE do a jetpack tutorial or tips & tricks! I can barely move more than a foot with that thing after 2 secs of flight and you're already half way to your destination within the same span of time! Incredible flying!

you can avoid the ghost girl by just not looking at her, atleast from what I have observed from my own gameplay. Just listen for her breathing/laugh or other noise and wait for it to disappear before being able to look behind you
You can juke out the jesters if you manage to run past it as it charges at you it will fuck up its pathing and it will start running off in a completely different directions you need to manage to just run past them as it charges at you in murder mode it then runs off in a random direction happened to my mate while we where all watching him
Interesting! I'll have to try that out 🤔
The worms will always attack ahead of the direction you where moving at the time it triggered so once your hear it turn in a different direction and run it will attack where you where going not where you are going now.
They have a minimum attack time of 0.1 seconds, if you get unlucky there's nothing you can do
Thank you for making this guide! Good way of explaining the gameplay!
i feel bad for the thumpers. they're likely confused because they see brightly colored things holding objects and running around, in their territory too. they're probably just territorial creatures. the screech they make when they get hit breaks my heart
bro the bamboo hawk looks scary
The roast about ghost girl’s massive forehead though LMAO
I think the snare flea lets you eventually go because of some kind of timer that goes down when the flea is "provoked," making it flee after a certain amount of time. I am likely wrong, but that's my guess as to why it probably does that. Also, the pun was not intended, LOL.
illegal pun, also the fleas seem to only leave in a solo game so rip that tip
yesterday while playing i was able to get rid of ghost girl while at the main entrance. I didn't look at her to start her skipping, but i went out of the building, back in looked at her, then back out and in. She was gone for the rest of the run but idk how well it actually works.
I have had some instances where she just stops haunting me, even in singleplayer, unsure why
For the face huggers, I've literally never once not died by standing still.

Iirc if you don't ever look at ghost girl she will never chase you. Also I think being in the ship decreases your sanity the most so if you have a console guy it will (usually) be them. Since the console guy won't be looking behind them anyways, you won't have to worry about it as much.

13:00 a better way to understand how the Worm attacks is, while it is following you preparing its attack it tries to predict your movement so you can actually dodge it by moving in the opposite direction of which you were moving given the delay
It doesn't do that, if you use the minimap mod you can see the way it follows people. It's very simplistic

Im actually a OG at Lethal Company since I played through the private beta.
Somethings I have learned that are really odd:
The hairdryer can anger the company
The extension ladder has the same placement sound of the shock device from it steals
The radar booster is the phantom shock device from it steals
The Jester's arm has similar details to the it steals protagonist's arms
The employees hold the flashlight and run similarly to the it steals protagonist
Theres a bug where the Girl's face is invisible, this probably occurred in the public demo that I also participated in
Theres a bug that causes you to see the silhouette of a employee in a endless void
In earlier versions of Lethal Company, when using the chat message system.
