This is great! Single dimension farms are great, and shulker behavior on scaffolding is super interesting! Thank you very much for the video and download materials!
it’s so amazing to see how far shulker farming has come! from portal farms making 500/h to this 1D design making 650/h to a much simpler 1D design making 750/h by making use of all the mechanics we’ve discovered, it’s fascinating!
Very cool! Great job on both the farm and the explanation. Might've been nice to compare the rates of the piston-based farm with the scaffolding-based one - your space efficiency and success rate numbers were great for helping to understand some of the theoretical differences, so it would've been interesting to see how the increased teleportation speed in the scaffolding design affected things.
Very interesting, I love seeing the progression of your teleport areas. Thorough and well thought out! Would love to see more of your work in the future.
Very good looking farms. Really handy that the resources are fairly cheap, and the killing chamber can use looting. The server I'm on restarts in a bit, and I'm definitively going to look into these designs. I used cubicmetres design last season, but that's going to be resource intensive for how early I want this up and running. I will definitively check up on this channel later! ;)
Has anyone else had problems with the snow golems being killed? I built the farm layer by layer using litematica and cannot figure out what I have done wrong.
It will work in the end (this is basically the whole point of 1dim farms) or the overworld. It won't work in the Nether because it uses bubblevator (probably simple enough to work around) and snow golems (there doesn't seem to be a good alternative). But I can't imagine many people would want to build it in the nether anyway.
@@Nic_Knack819 I actually knew about this, but assumed no-one would build it in the OW. As you say, you can just add lighting to stop it (maybe with some block lights put in the floors). Although I don't think it should affect the rates either way.
In the flush area of killing chamber i see that a lot of shells are getting stuck and their ammount acumulates over time. This problem ocurs in the world download.
@@p4wn744 Hmm, that's an issue, does it look like an easy fix? I have largely moved away from looting designs, so the simplest fix might just be to switch to automatic mode.
@@EndingCredits the main two reasons we decided to go for looting option is the fact we build the farm early (before dragon fight) and we dont have roses yet and the second reason is rate increase provided by looting sword...
Just 1, as long as it's in good health. As ong as you get it in range of the farm, it should all start by itself (unless you get vey unlucky and shulker dies without duplicating).
Either get it onto a minecart (see ianxofour's video for how to get one into a minecart easily) onto one of the tracks, or you can use an activator rail with a surface next to it with a button on top (make sure there are no teleportable spaces nearby) within teleportable range of the scaffolding in the farm. It will then teleport into the scaffolding and get caught in the holding chamber. Then you can press the button on the dispense which will send out a minecart. There's a small chance the first shulker can fail, but hopefully you shouldn't have any problems. Double check nowhere is teleportable, and for the first half an hour or so of running the farm, keep an eye to see that no shulkers end up in places they shouldn't: Shulkers getting stuck in bad places will kill the farm very quickly!
I can't understand 'the two theoretical differences' there's no theories in a mechanical device..it's a difference or it isn't a difference. Great video, but did feel you were trying to sound smart. But maybe I am wrong .
I completely disagree. There is a lot of theory in Minecraft farms, and identifying probabilities and other properties of various designs helps to understand the things that need to be balanced to create a fast design. Building something that works is all well and good, but understanding why it works is far more important. You can't improve upon something you don't understand.

The explanations were clear and easy to understand. Pretty cool mechanic, i'd love to see where this all leads.

I found the explainations to be quite clear, thank you for the presentation

Love this! You're explaining the thinking progress and mechanics perfectly! Love your voice, calmness and clarity.
Brilliant, really enjoyed this video
Really satisfying to see the shulkers rush to the top
You explained really well, actually. Good job. See ya on TC. =D
Cool concept! Great work!
At 19:01: The part without captions sounds like "to see if I could work out what was causing the disparity in rates"
Wow, this is the first video on this channel and it is very good.
Bruh, this is amazing!
What a great video. I am going to be using your quad core design in my 1.18 new world. Thanks!

Amazing find with the scafholding
good job with the video was glad to help with ideas
Amazing. Less hassle with portals (and zihlin for that matter)
Like this video guys, it would help other people to see this video due to youtube seeing the likes and recommending it.
Very nice, I'd like to learn more about your shulker shoopersharker (a.k.a. supercharger)
Great video, thanks for sharing!
MineTheFab brought me here
why do I always hear ilmangos voice everytime I watch this. This is really great for single player worlds as you dont really need to much shulker.

Has anyone else had problems with the snow golems being killed? I built the farm layer by layer using litematica and cannot figure out what I have done wrong.
One question Does the one dimension part have to be the overworld or can we have it in the end to cut out any of the transport issues?
It will work in the end (this is basically the whole point of 1dim farms) or the overworld. I mean the main shulker btw
Im new to litematica and was testing some builds and everytime i executeOperation, some blocks dont load, any tips?
Don't know off the top of my head; not seen that before. Might be better to ask in one of the more general discords.

Is this in the looting-based grinder?
@@EndingCredits yes. The shells are getting stuck on the glass block in the middle and they are not flushed by water stream.

Ok. its easy fix! adding additional hopper line to the collection chest in the middle row (above redstone circuit) solves the problem.
Can someone explain how the water is placed in the manual killing chamber?
It should be placed in a bucked in the dispenser.
@@EndingCredits thanks for the help! Great Video!

awesome!

Am I missing something or are all the world downloads missing the actual farms?
You need to teleport to them with the command blocks at spawn.
How many shulkers do I need for this?

Even the 'gives a success rate of 74% after five attempts'
Definitely not what I was trying to do! But I take your point that it probably comes across overly analytical.
