As you so rightly said, Emma did another stunning performance to prove that she truly is a star, just a pity that the guys mixing it behind the scenes didn't give her microphone the level it needed. One of those things that happens.
To keep you in the loop, she's done another sublime performance over Christmas with Andre, she came on at MECC and without a guide note or intro sang the first verse a capella, and then Andre builds in the orchestra. then the sopranos then the tenors, before winding things down to allow her to close it out with another soft and gentle few moments, it's a beautiful presentation, various versions on TH-cam, the official one

has the best audio quality, but it's shorter than most, and her performance of 'All I want for Christmas is you' is also very good, and in the Christmas outfit, she really stands out,

she rose to that occasion and gave a stunning performance alongside her idol, and the respect between the two of them was very evident, and so good to see.

They are a possible source of treatment or even a cure for people like Emma, it would be a tragedy if Emma had to stop singing because her gastroparesis had become worse, and her foundation may be the way that new treatment or a cure can be found, one of the key members of the team is a surgeon who worked at the Maastricht hospital, she also has gastroparesis herself, and she has been forced to give up her work at the hospital because of a deterioration of her health, so her focus now is the foundation, and with her knowledge, her input will be vital.
It would be so good to hear that they have made some breakthrough that will enable Emma to be free to do what she is so good at, it would mean that her other dream might also become reality, with all she's been through in her short life, for her to at last be free from the two feeding pumps that she's tied to for 22 hours a day, that would be more than a good result.
