Abundance is another MAGICAL shade from Kjaer Weis. I have literally never seen a blush color like it before. It looks DARK PURPLE in the pan like it would never work on anyone but it literally transforms into the most gorgeous mauvy pink. So incredibly unique and beautiful it must be tried!
Hi! Wayne Goss has both animal hair and synthetic brushes - the synthethis ones are marked with S e.g. 25S and are described as vegan while the animal hair brushes are described as cruelty free - animals are not harmed, don't suffer etc - they are brushed/groomed or sheared so basiclly you either brush out the hair or cut it but those actions are necessary for the health/wellbeing of the animal :) hope that helps, if anyone has sth to add pls feel free!
Thanks so much for this explanation…I’ve always held off on buying supposed cruelty free brushes as the brands never seem to elaborate their justifications for claiming their brushes are cruelty free
Animal hair brushes are considered cruelty free if the animals haven't been killed for the sole purpose of making brushes or they haven't been killed at all. So, they can collect hair that comes off as a result of brushing the animal or they can buy fur from animals that were going to be killed anyway (either for their meat or due to pest control). Obviously, "cruelty free" is a very subjective term and some people might consider that there is no cruelty free way of collecting animal hair and choose to avoid these brushes altogether. In any case, there is definitely a considerable difference performance wise between using natural and synthetic hair brushes and, within natural hair, each type of hair also performs differently.
When I worked at Sephora I always recommended the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue and people weren’t interested because it wasn’t the new shiny foundation and it sounds less than what it actually is! It always looked great. I also didn’t have the pilling problem.
Idk if it will happen (or if you want to) but I can't begin to describe how quickly I would buy a makeup collab between you and literally any brand 😂. I can just imagine the perfection of any blush you came out with.
On the topic of the right tool for the job: the Daniel Sandler watercolour blushes + the Leia beauty tool is literally game-changing - airbrushed model cheeks on another level, over or under powder, does not matter, absolute perfection.
Wasn’t sure how I would feel about the Sneaky Balm since I used to have pretty oily skin. But man you aren’t kidding about how your skin can change! I’m currently pregnant and my skin has turned into the Sahara desert. I just bought the Sneaky Balm (among many other Salt New York items) and it’s the only thing that’s really looking good on my skin now. It’s just so pretty
Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue has been my holy grail product for years and years - it has never pilled on me and I mix it with many different things. It doesn’t make me break out and I always come back to it no matter what else I try.
I love the BM Complexion Rescue. As far as the pilling goes- it DOES say on the bottle “apply to clean skin”. Putting this over certain moisturizers or sunscreens is what causes the pilling. If you are going to use something under this you have to make sure you give it enough time to really sink in.
I love your personality, your looks, and your fashion sense 😍 Your reviews and your humor just overwhelm me with joy 🥺 Thank you for being yourself, so open and real, and so detailed! I really love learning from you and learning new makeup brands from you! I appreciate you so much!
The BareMinerals Complexion Rescue is my OG tinted moisturizer the color match, texture and how it smooths my skin making it look hydrated and healthy is so good for the day. Also I’m obsessed with your top? Dress?💛
So glad you demo’d Inner Glow again! I have the Abundance shade, which has the same funky type of quality, but it’s a mauvy color- it’s FREAKIN INCREDIBLE and I can’t stop using it. It’s literally the perfect combo of blush/bronze/contour magic. I reallly need to try Inner Glow too 😫
So the first time I arm and face swatched abundance I thought it looked like baby poop in the arm swatch and just super weird on the face. Turns out, putting it on while wearing a red shirt just wasn't wise (was testing and not actually doing my makeup for the day). Something told me to give it one last try before fully dismissing it and omg I loved it (especially against a mauve top and with the LXMI rose gold highlighter).
For some reason, the combination of light reflecting in your eyes, your dress(?), your jewelry, and just yOu makes you look so ESPECIALLY radiant and cheerful and excited in this video and it’s absolutely contagious. It’s always a mood boost when you’re having a fun time, lol. My mom made me think of you the other day 😭 She was talking about zodiac signs, and she told me that I’m an Aquarius sun (which I did know) and an Aries moon (I only know like one-fourth of what that means and it’s only because of you) and I was like “Aries???? Kackie?????” and my mom was like “what the heck is a Kackie??” She’s more into crafty/DIY TH-cam, but she did enjoy your blush-swatching-on-your-face videos lol
I was getting ready for work whilst watching this and looked down all of a sudden and realised I had matched my face and hair to yours lol love the video!
I bought the BM Complexion Rescue 2 years ago and hated it. So many people love it so I decided to buy it again and revisit it. Well, lo and behold I really like it and I can't figure out what's different this time around. It does not pill on my face and I use serum, Vit C and Super Goop Glow Screen sunscreen. I generally put my skin care on upstairs in the morning and go down to the kitchen to make coffee and then apply the BM. Sometimes product needs to set on the skin for a few minutes before applying base. Anyhoo, it works and I really like it.
I definitely appreciate the eyeshadow style/shape consistency. I've got deep set and hooded eyes, so I'm pretty limited on eye shadow real estate, only a few styles work on me. That makes formula, blend ability, performance and color all the more important. Similar styles make it so much easier to compare.
i have been binge watching ingrid’s past videos since you guys made that awesome video together. i realized that i’d obviously had been living under a freaking rock for not discovering her channel prior to that day, but i did know her because of her amazing candles, and that’s why i was so confused yet intrigued that she was in your video that day. omfg, i’m dyinggg to try the blonzers!!! my birthday is less than 2 weeks and they’re on my wishlist and i’m praying that i get one, but it’s not looking too hopeful. i reallllly like the lip color on you, madam!!! 💛💛💛
I have the Kjaer Weis inner glow blush. The formula is fabulous and it looks good on me whether I'm as pale as my profile photo or tanned to a medium tone. It's also the easiest formula to work with out of my dozens of blushes.
This look is giving dystopian fortune teller-cowgirl meets Frida Kahlo in the most wonderful way. I think it all came together beautifully in the end. Also, perhaps it’s because I do the same thing, but I have never noticed in a negative way AT ALL the fact that your eyeshadow looks all have much the same shape. I think we all tend to gravitate toward whatever placement we find the most flattering, which is only natural, and I think it shows a certain skill and knowledge of oneself. Again, maybe I’m biased, but I’m a big fan of your method of applying eyeshadow and pulling together looks as a whole. You know what works best for you-that deserves to be celebrated in your looks every day!
I have no issue with people that do the same eye look every time. I care about the review of the formula and colors, not the placement. Plus I just watch people I like, I don’t necessarily need them to “teach” me anything.
I had the complexion rescue from bare minerals a few years ago and used it maybe three times because it was pilling horribly on me, no matter what skincare I had underneath or how long I let it sink in. The only occasion that it kind of worked was with no skincare underneath, just on bare skin - but I wanna be able to use skin care and sunscreen under my makeup. So it’s a no from me. Glad it works for you though! :)
You made me buy the KW "inner glow" blush and I love it! And as soon as I put it on I realized it's an exact color/shade dupe for the Buxom "seychelles" blush just that in a cream formula
I’ve been getting more into brushes lately - I think the Hindash comment about animal hair kicked off my interest in it. Alicia Archer here on YT has some deep dives on fude and it’s all FASCINATING. After using “cheap but good” synthetic brushes, I only just bought my first few Rephr brushes and I’m learning about other high-end options. I also love that many people still swear by Real Techniques brushes and stuff like that. It really depends on the makeup you use and how you use it, which brush makes the most sense. Glad to hear good things about the Angie brushes! I’ve been considering those as well, along with the rest of the BK line. Brushes! 🖌
I’ve been using Complexion rescue for almost 10 years. It’s amazing. But the transfer is really bad, especially with masks. It’s more me than the product but how do you keep it from getting everywhere?
I totally agree!! I have loved it for about ten years too, and always repurchase as a “security blanket product for me- but it gets everywhere and transfers TERRIBLY onto masks/clothes/towels/etc 🤷🏼♂️
Talking eyeshadow….I think you would like (or at least I would like to see your thoughts on it’s performance) the Esum w36 eyeshadow brush. Michelle Wong recommends it constantly. Im curious if it would help my lack of ability in the game of eyeshadow. Please try it???
I bought that brush after watching Michelle talk about it because I wanted to up my eyeshadow game! It’s a nice brush and I use it for my outer corner when I remember…but it’s definitely not life changing for me.
Free shipping is my Achilles heel. I’ve walked away from many a basket on a internet site because I can’t achieve free shipping and I’m unwilling to pay $15 in s&h.
I'm wondering if a smaller single or two pan palette from salt New York would help with that issue that you and Hannah mentioned? I'd for sure buy that! I want to try the sneaky balm and contour but haven't yet because I'm hesitant to store only 2 products in the 4 pan palette without it looking weird or feeling the pressure to buy more pans. I'm sure the blushes, highlighters, mixers etc are amazing, but if I'm honest, I'm a creature of habit and slap on the same make-up half asleep in the morning and wouldn't really play with the blush shades and adjusters.
So, it's not made by Salt New York, but Makeup Forever makes some small, sturdy magnetic compacts that are great for storing metal pans. There are a couple of size options and they're only $2! I got one at Sephora when I first tried Salt New York because I also didn't want to feel like I had to fill out the pallette or have empty spots. I ended up loving the blushes so much I bought a 4-pan pallette later, but you don't have to.
The way you describe the KW blush is what I'm looking for every line to come out with. I used to use bare mineral warmth as a one and done cheek product but it doesn't work now that my skin tone is changed.
What brush do you recommend for the Pat McGrath blushes? I love them but they do stamp a little with the old brush I have, you made me just realize it's most certainly the brush!
I started getting interested in astrology because you talk about it. I found out I am a Cancer Aries Scorpio. A Cancer(water)a no Aries (fire)moon with Scorpio Rising is alot. I looked up and read about it. Looking for a good beginner book or self improvement with this? Any ideas that would be helpful? I am pretty much house bond and I was lonely so I watched a couple of you old video. Loved seeing the your change in makeup. You did a one shadow look! Oops also Anna Louisa jewelry. Thank you for helping me through the day. I have chronic pain am too at home too much. I love you in the best way❤️
Omg me too and it drives me even more nuts with duo/multichromes bc I can't tell if it's just that spot being its normal weird self or if it's just that the light isn't hitting it properly.

I ordered the RdF complexion liquids, too! Their shade range is...all over the place, so I got the two I think might work? We'll see. I'm digging your eyeshadow today, and I like how your placement is pretty consistent throughout episodes. My eyeshadow experiments are NOT consistent at all (yesterday was a FAIL), so I wish I could settle into some kind of groove. Also, after watching your April faves video, I'm like, "How does Kackie manage to put herself together like an adult and I'm over here being 45 years old and dressing like a toddler half the time?"
Fashion video pls god. A formative moment in my life was you introducing Farmrio to us in a haul. Just so we’re clear… I’ve been chasing that feeling ever sense. 😂 I’m finally at a point in my career that I’m comfortable investing in pieces and I want to know your secrets. Where do you shop? When do you buy? I adore your style. Kbye
OK, story. My 5 year old daughter sitting here next to me, I'm putting my makeup on. I have the rt x vl o46 liquid brush....it's a unicorn brush. She asked me if this was in fact animal hair. I had to say yes.
I had to buy the bare minerals complexion rescue last time you talked about it and I LOVE it but I realized I had accidentally been using it’s drug store dupe for years. The pixi h20 skin tint is almost exactly the same but no mineral sunscreen. It’s awesome
What’s going on with Arrive Beauty? Love their bronzer (bought it on your reco!). It’s one of the few things that I’ve actually hit pan on, which says a lot. I went to re-order and saw that shipping was pushed out through the fall, so I held off… Makes me nervous! Hope they are all right
Yes I'm slightly confused on the cruelty free animal hair do some people go around gently trimming pony hair 🤔 or squirrel hair or something 😄 but very kindly.

In lieu of the HBO docuseries, I'd love to see a video about talc free products from you! I originally found you because of your reviews of clean beauty brands so I would love to hear about your favorites!!
Bizarre story for you Kackie. My brother called me lips when I was little. One of many nicknames, but I think this one was because my lips were always moving, as in I was always talking. For your lipstick that says "here comes Kackie's lips", I'll let you borrow the nickname. 😁😂❤️
It looks great after applying a simple lotion (ceraVe) and the Fenty Body Sauce. Maybe try that? I also do the complexion rescue in the lightest shade.
I was looking for your favorite BK brushes. I know you made one with because I watched it but couldn’t find it in the search. I got the eyeshadow brushes for small hooded eyes but didn’t get face brushes because I didn’t know what to get. Can anyone find it?
The Gucci lipstick perfume is gross, but it doesn’t linger (Thank God), the Chanel is also terrible and it gives me a bump on the contour of lips every time 😮💨. But the absolute worst offender is By Terry, that scent (old lady roses) will choke you until it’s faded from ur lips. I only have one beautiful sheer glossy balm by Terry and I leave it in the car in hopes that the heat will kill and fade the fragrance.
You did a review comparing new Rhea bronzer to old Rhea bronzer. And you didn't prefer the undertone in the new one as much as you preferred the old one. Maybe that's also a factor for why you haven't utilized it lately.
I was just listening for a bit and when I came back to look I was like oooo your eyes look so good. (This was before intensifies etc) so my point is… who gives a 🤬 if you do the same look when it looks so killer. 😂
Cruelty free just means they don’t test on animals so it can still contain animal ingredients. If it’s cruelty free and vegan than that means no testing on animals or any animal ingredients were used . 😘

Kbye
Also this is me, Lemondroplopez, I just got married and changed my name but hi 💛
What a great start to my morning😊
OK, story. My 5 year old daughter sitting here next to me, I'm putting my makeup on. I have the rt x vl o46 liquid brush....it's a unicorn brush. She asked me if this was in fact animal hair. I had to say yes.
also: stop that givenchy lip gloss sounds so delicious staaaahp
HAHAHAHAHA oh my god
Ah Kackie thank you! Hope you're well xx
I had to buy the bare minerals complexion rescue last time you talked about it and I LOVE it but I realized I had accidentally been using it’s drug store dupe for years. The pixi h20 skin tint is almost exactly the same but no mineral sunscreen. It’s awesome
OH!
😄 my horse certainly could provide if there is a market!! He's got plenty of hair to share and his a$$ is expensive!
YES!!! This is the shit I want to know about!!!👌🏼👌🏼😎🖤🌻🖤🌻🖤✨✨✨
A. We are here for unique & productive product deep dives, thoughtful reviews, color theory rabbit holes, introspection & dystopian fortune teller cowgirl hues vs a toot on how do an "X" eye lewk
B. Your "same ole same ole eye" is pretty dang stunning, your techniques and placement, spot on and can be tweaked to our own eye shape and indulgences
C. Fiord Queen when The Mood strikes
D. dang it, I do the same ~~ that thing HLP mentioned, that not reaching for the Sneaky B. I grab a bottle, a pump, a liquid is on my face & then bam it hits me ~~ I was going to Sneaky B today, all products are within the same arm's reach.
E. Sneaky B just moved up to the orchestra section.
In lieu of the HBO docuseries, I'd love to see a video about talc free products from you! I originally found you because of your reviews of clean beauty brands so I would love to hear about your favorites!!
Sneaky Balm is amazing, I need a lighter color, thank you for this reminder!! Your face looked gorgeous!
Lol I have scrapped whole videos because of an unblended spot.
Bizarre story for you Kackie. My brother called me lips when I was little. One of many nicknames, but I think this one was because my lips were always moving, as in I was always talking. For your lipstick that says "here comes Kackie's lips", I'll let you borrow the nickname. 😁😂❤️
How does Inner Glow compare to Westman Atelier Mimi? Swatches look similar but it's so hard to tell. Is Inner Glow more pink? (sans shimmer)
The complexion rescue *suuucks* on me. 😩 Oxidizes super orange and pills.
It looks great after applying a simple lotion (ceraVe) and the Fenty Body Sauce. Maybe try that? I also do the complexion rescue in the lightest shade.
See I've gotten around the SNY Block™️ by not having another mirror handy so I *have* to open it 😅
I don't see anything wrong?? I think you look fabulous as usual! And I loove the Vb lip! Anything similar in a more affordable option?
...I hadn't waited long enough. Gonna have to checkout some beautypie.. is that the one you have to subscrive to?
Yes it is. But you can do a day pass for $10? Or find a friend with a membership lol
My left eyelid has a patch that WILL NOT hold eyeshadow, and my cheeks have patches that blush WILL NOT stick 🤦🏻♀️
I wish the sneaky balm came in shades for fair skin, the lightest is way to dark and yellow beige for me
Does anyone know if you can depot the thrive bronzer easily?
Kackie constantly pulling animal hair off her face is the most seen I’ve felt.
I was looking for your favorite BK brushes. I know you made one with because I watched it but couldn’t find it in the search. I got the eyeshadow brushes for small hooded eyes but didn’t get face brushes because I didn’t know what to get. Can anyone find it?
I believe it was in either her best of the best or second best of 2021 videos.
@@JillRebeccaBeauty thank you. ❤️
I actually like wearing bronzer as blush!!! Depends how pale I am though 😂
I'm one of the ones Bare Minerals pills up on. Lol. Sadly. I wish it worked on me
Is it time yet for a puppy update? Tippy tap's 4-legged friend. Please?
HES A MENACE 🤣
@@kackie I love that you won't sugarcoat the truth.
Inner Glow is the ONE for me If I could only have one. Launched, tested it, bought it and instant , lasting love 💕
Got socked in both eyes ✨but make it fashion✨
💖🥰💖
Kackie. You need to introduce yourself to Sonia G. brushes. You will never use a synthetic brush on your eyes again.
SHE SO SNEAKY
Your eyes are weird.
This is so unnecessary, do you say rude things to strangers on the street? Your comment is weird
