Yeah, put the new whipple on your 2024, and you're going to make 650 to the tire. Why? Because you didn't read the fine print. They put Longtubes on it, deleted the cats, and put octane booster in it. That's how they made that number. You're NOT going to make almost 800 wheel on 93 octane on a 12:1 compression motor, or its going to pop.
We've already proven that is not the case. 3 cars with the Whipple kit running the stock manifolds and cats have made from 735-760rwhp with the blower alone on 93 ONLY. All of them using the 3.75" pulley and all done locally on the same dyno at PBD.
That sounds impressive but I will hold my thoughts until we see track numbers. I just don’t I personally dont trust dyno numbers any more. Too many people in this industry do things to promote a product vs being truthful. A dyno can read whatever you want it to. The track numbers exposes all things good and bad.

I haven't seen anyone saying you need dual TB to make power. What i've been saying is whipple took the cheaper/easier way out. It will be interesting to see if VMP can make the dual throttle bodies work with a PD blower. Almost 800whp is impressive though and no, it doesn't look that bad. I prefer the old school look of the whipple SC i guess. Looking for a 03 cobra to mod now. not a fan of these new mustangs.

Cletus McFarland makes 1100hp and almost 1000tq to the tires in his F150 with Coyote with Gen 6 Whipple through a 10spd auto AWD. You have much catching up to do.
Cletus’s truck is a 2020 which has a lot more capabilities for custom tuning at the moment. That played a big role in the type of power that truck makes. The ability to run a full return style fuel system, larger injectors and E85 are imperative to being able to make and support that type of power. We did the same thing with our 2018 mustang GT which made over 1100rwhp with a pre production Gen 5 3.0l whipple. However on that car custom tuning available as well to where we could run an aftermarket fuel system, injectors and E85. This car currently runs the stock fuel pump assembly with one of our fuel pump boosters and the supplied 55lb injectors that come with the Whipple kit. The calibration is done by Whipple and will be 50 state legal once it goes through the approval process. I’m sure as time goes on with the s650 platform we will be able to push it harder just like we did with our 2018 car and what Cletus did with his truck.
What I find interesting is people bang all over the ecoboost because it's a turbo 4 cylinder but get all wet over the whipple supercharger. Sure it pumps out more power but it's a turbocharger!
With all the torque reduction. The car probably doesn’t see wot until 80 mph. The whipple calibrations suck stock and you won’t be able to put a good tune on the car unless you have access from ford what’s the point of 740whp if you’re not making 700whp until 90mph
Is it true that octane was added to the car? I really don't mind, and I hope it was if you are increasing the boost with a pulley. I wouldn't want you or anyone to hurt a motor without a calibration specified for additional boost. Ken with respect is a calibrator, but the public should know. That being stated as you are promoting a part that you sell.
Octane booster was not used for these or previous dyno testing. Part 2 which hasn’t been released yet used 93 with some Octanium unleaded. We finally got to rev it out to 7800 in 4th with both the 3.75” and 3.625” pulleys and the results are impressive. That video should be released shortly.
So we don't need Tuning shops anymore? Is that what this video is pushing? I can just buy this kit, install it myself and expect same numbers from factory whipple calibration?
Never really said we don’t need tuning shops as that’s certainly not the case. Whipple however did an amazing job with this kit and it’s calibration. It’s their most advanced calibration they’ve ever made and it took a ton of testing and expertise for that to happen. If you’ve followed the build you’ll see that we do have headers and exhaust on the car. So for you to make similar power as we did you would need those in addition to just the kit to replicate these numbers. Going forward hopefully we have the ability to tune them for things such as aftermarket fuel systems and injectors so we can run e85 as that’s where the true potential of this kit will shine.
@@Lethalcamp ThankYou for proving my point. It seems you guys are working yourselves out of a job like in refinery work, and you are doing it with a big smile on your face. Instead of resisting the product that is pushing non tuning capabilities. Hope you guys making a deal with whipple unlike hoping to get E85 calibrating access from Ford.
In your 2024 Mustang GT project, to which you placed a supercharger, short axles, header and other parts, do you plan to change the differential? Can you install an oil separator and a Mishimoto universal thermostatic oil cooler kit, 25 rows? Thank you.
We have no plans to change the differential at the moment. The car currently has UPR's Dual Catch Can oil separator for the 2024 Mustang GT's, which is slightly modified to fit with the Whipple Supercharger (slightly different hose routing). They will be releasing a version for the Whipple Supercharger cars here shortly. At the moment, since we do not plan to road course the car or give it any long durations of high rpm, oil temperatures aren't too much of a concern. Of course it's something we will monitor once we do hit the drag strip or do some hard driving.

@@eliteghost0001this I don't understand why people can't see this car is not an upgrade at all potential wise its actually a step back because of tuning. It will be a long long time before tuning is available outside of Ford approved tunes if it EVER happens at all (which wouldn't surprise me at all at this point). This thing is locked up tight and it may not ever be fully tunable. Even if it was it's basically same as an s550. Even rides on the same chassis. It's the most disappointing "all new" mustang ever made imo. Never before has an all new mustang been this much like the precious model going as far as riding on the same s550 chassis. It looks almost the same from the side. They prob take the same side mirrors they sure look alot alike. These companies keep hyping it up to sell parts and all of yall buy into it hook line and sinker. If this car runs an s550 custom tuned similar setup in the same power range the s550 will smoke it because there is more to it than peak power. These overly conservative Ford approved tunes are always super lazy feeling and performing compared to a real tune even if peak hp is similar. The tuning thing REALLY holds these cars back and people refuse to see the light. They're willing to put up with whatever to have the latest greatest mustang when you could just buy an s550 for way less money and have the same thing with more potential. Just because it's newer don't mean better. Think for yourself.

To be honest I really don’t like driving that fast on the street. No promises but we’ll see. With that said this car will indeed be hitting the drag strip which should make things pretty clear of what type of power the car is making and it’s capabilities. Although I suck at driving manuals. I’d much rather take my Darkhorse with the 10 speed down the track once the blower goes on it. Those 10 speeds drive so well and are much easier to launch and take down the track.
As someone who has blown up a coyote because they were on 93 octane, this is stupid. If these numbers were made on 93 octane, it probably wasn't safe to daily drive. Because 93 octane at one gas station, isn't 93 octane at another. And you're just rolling the dice on blowing up your motor. The motor is still 12:1 compression, and engine knock didn't magically vanish in 2024. I have a feeling real world dyno numbers will be much more tame.

Imagine when the twin turbo kits come out 🎉
Wow, I’m floored.
Insane rwhp with a tune but with the cost of a dark horse and supercharged I'll rather have a gt500 spending the same money great video
that MT 82 isn't gonna last very long at that power level.
WOW!!! 700 plus horsepower!!!
Damn… Wouldn’t you like to see one of those strapped to a bagged performance pack S650🥰
What I find interesting is people bang all over the ecoboost because it's a turbo 4 cylinder but get all wet over the whipple supercharger. Sure it pumps out more power but it's a turbocharger!
Man oh man when does mine get built😎. Ordered mine in December can’t wait to put her on my DH.
With all the torque reduction. The car probably doesn’t see wot until 80 mph. The whipple calibrations suck stock and you won’t be able to put a good tune on the car unless you have access from ford what’s the point of 740whp if you’re not making 700whp until 90mph
The whipple is a gift from god. Mr doubled his power. Hellcat power in a smaller chassis😖
YAH BRAHHH! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻 GREAT JOB 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Did you still need to do oil pump gears and crank sprocket or did ford fix that weak point? Thanks
Thank you for the clarification. I look forward to that content for my viewing pleasure.
@@Lethalcamp looking back at the graphs I'd imagine 815 rev out and 836-840 on octane booster no tune changes.
@@Lethalcamp In a Steeda video, they fitted a Whipple supercharger and a Roush Mustang Max Cooling Upgrade system to a Mustang Mach 1, it seemed like a perfect adaptation to me.
How will the stock motor hold up to that boost
781 Horsepower on pump. gas is impressive. Lethal Performance and Palm beach are two of the best when it comes to creating horsepower with a Coyote based engine. I believe the Gen 4 Coyote has so much high revving, horsepower potential when after market tunes become available.
yup, the exact same potential as an s550 (which is already tuneable)
In 3rd gear which isn't 1:1
@@midnight347 honestly it’s because people aren’t very bright and believe whatever the big corp says. I’m sick of it just like you. Videos like this only play into it. It’s disingenuous and they know it. They don’t care though because as long as “product A” sells, they don’t care. The car is pretty much the exact same with more limitations as you said. It’s a clown world man
You gotta love TH-cam hotrodders. They do crazy shit so we don't have to. I don't think that motor will live more than a few months before it goes boom, it will be a lot of fun before then.
Why would it go boom? It has a super conservative Whipple tune on it them being overly conservative is why "Ford approved" tunes suck which is why the s650 sucks among other reasons.
@midnight347 If you do some research, you will find that Whipple tunes were blowing up Gen 3 Coyotes in the past. Perhaps they have learned from previous experience.
Whipple FTW!!
😂🎉😢😮😅😊😊😊 thanks Ken you’re the man with the plan you’re awesome keep it up with the Mustang you guys are doing awesome I like your videos and I like it when Evan was on there too. He was in those Mustang magazines about 1012 years ago I believe cause I have quite a few of him in that magazine, take care Bros
I'm curious how the Whipple tune does with headers and catles downpipes? id imagine there's a CEL on. also wonder how the MT82 will hold up?
There is a cel light as Whipple doesn’t tune for headers. The MT82 is doing well so far. We’ll see how it goes once we hit the strip with it. If it doesn’t work out we have already been in contact with Calimer for a Stage 3 upgrade.
You just saw how it does with LTH and no cats....
Nice BUT if you carry the 3 into the 5 and place around the 2 then divide into 4 the 5 will be more upity downity into the 6 will soon see my Gen2 Gen3R still zooming byyyyyy lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The new F150 single cab driven by Cleetus makes 1000+ hp with that whipple. Coyote+whip makes a great combo 😎
Just to clarify, it’s not a 2024 F150.
@@mikablep2369 your right it’s like a 2020, but still has coyote in it making 1100 ponies 😎
@@bigpower7777 my 2018 GT with the stock motor and only an oil pump gear and crank sprocket made over 1100rwhp with a pre-production Gen 5 Whipple. Went 8.64@157 and cut 1.27 60fts like nothing. That however was done on E85 with a full return system, larger injectors, built trans, converter and custom tuning. Hard to compare that car or Cletus’s truck to this one as this 2024 is a pretty basic setup. This is only the beginning so let’s see what she can do as we move along with the build.
@@Lethalcamp that’s great! Can’t wait to see the progress. Keep up the good work 👍🏼
Well done Jared and Dustin!! ❤❤
When are they saying this package will be available
We all knew Whipple would be able to tune them. That much was known before the car was released. Can PBD tune it?
Damn Jared! That Gray Has just taken over your beard man!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Getting prepared early for Christmas 🤶
Very cool! Running that much hp on 93 octane and no knock?
All of the datalogs looked great. We didn’t have any issues with knock or the car pulling timing.
The Octane booster helped with that. This is a 650 - 680 car on 93
Have you Dynoed any with the 10 speed auto
With the supercharger added will this mustang keep up with a c8 zo6 or would be faster than the c8 zo6?
It will beat a C8 Z06 pretty handily, as shown by our man StreetSpeed717 here: th-cam.com/video/VjUR9HkvIME/w-d-xo.htmlsi=VN5SaADr3K5Zp0_I&t=390
Will you do a dragy video next ??
To be honest I really don’t like driving that fast on the street. No promises but we’ll see. With that said this car will indeed be hitting the drag strip which should make things pretty clear of what type of power the car is making and it’s capabilities. Although I suck at driving manuals. I’d much rather take my Darkhorse with the 10 speed down the track once the blower goes on it. Those 10 speeds drive so well and are much easier to launch and take down the track.
So all it’s proving is the Gen 6 Whipple is better than the Gen 5 on any platform.
Making demon 170 pump gas power with half the boost.
What engine in these? Gen 4 Coyote?
Yes it's the gen 4 coyote.
@@Lethalcamp Thanks.
Wanna quarter mile run.....
It’s coming. Just waiting on a private rental to pop up and we’re there.
I have a feeling real world dyno numbers will be much more tame.
for real tho, that must have been the spiciest 93 octane ever sold lol
Ain’t no way they did this without octane booster lol
@@169abr I don't see why they would lie especially Ken from Palm Beach Dyno since he is a tuner and the better the Whipple tune does the less likely people would want any custom tuning once the ECU's are unlocked.
@@sd24734 they’ve admitted it had octane booster in it… they lied for clout.
Could you elaberate how Whipple was able to tune these Mustangs they supposedly have their ECUs locked?
Ford works with Whipple and allowed them to unlock and tune.
That's what I was starting to suspect. @@Zerogivengarage
Where are we on total $$ so far?
Most of the parts for our build were gifted to us from our amazing partners in the industry. However if you wanted to see what retail cost on all of the items we used for our build come out to check the link below as we list it all on our 2024 mustang build page.
www.lethalperformance.com/info/lethal-s650-build-plans
with a MT82 trans???? what's your guess before MT82 explodes?
Not sure. We’ll run it till it breaks and rebuild it better and stronger. The Lethal way! Hoping that it holds up for a bunch of passes at the track though. Over the years we’ve actually had really good success with the MT82. Ran the piss out of our 2011 car and went low 10’s with it. Went 9.70’s in our 2015 MT82 car as well and never had an issue. We’ll see.
@@Lethalcampisn't 5th gear the 1:1 ratio for dyno testing?
Is Whipple and Ford going to provide an e85 tune?
All of a sudden i want a dark horse
gotta love whipple ots tunes.
Did you do oil gears or are they not needed?
How bout them knock sensors.? 🤔
Holy crap it made custom tune Gen2 numbers LOL
I ain’t trusting pbd dyno for shit. Let alone after rob left. Get it to the track and show us trap mph.
What gearing does it have for it to run 4th gear to 160!?
We have 3.73’s and 4th is the 1:1 gear ratio for this model MT82 trans.
Lets see if the tic (bad block) shows up to the party first .😮
What about an automatic transmission?
Our Dark Horse is an auto and we will be installing that one here soon so we will have numbers for it.
So all the stuff thats done to this stang, how much money spent to get to 780. 10 grand probably.
This video sponsored by: Octanium. For when you need more power but your car is knocking, grab octanium. OCTANIUM!
What would be the max speed with all the moods on ?
It's hard to say. The power should easily push it past 200mph, however, I'm fairly certain we'll never get it up that high due to the risk.
Boy am I sold. It has teen a year yet and Whipple already has a supercharger kit for the s650 mustang. And over 750 whp to the rear🤯😱?! If that’s on the manual what of the 10-speed Dino runs?
how much power do these motors handle even with decent tuning?
Probably 1000whp if not a little bit more
Over 1000rwhp
4:16 AND FORD STILL PUTS THE MT82 IN, OH MY WORD!! 🙆🙇
Does it have a crank support?
No it does not. Stock lower setup without a crank support at the moment.
