The main character from this game looks like a toy version of Steven Seagal
correction, Steve Seagal looks like a human version of this toy.
I was thinking Andrew Dice Clay
Correction, this IS Steven Seagal in toy form.
Hahahaha!!!
hey man , ya know whats a super trip ,youre a bloke that basically stays behind the scenes, never showing ya face to become a youtube person and you just reviews games from that 90sish era. You plugging in to what I assume is touching on that nostalgia vibe of growing up at that same time that i did too. What a great thing it is youre doing , not just for us watching but also I hope for yourself too. I am not sure where you live , I assume the US but you have reached someone from Australia. Top work legend ! Internet folk may not say it a lot but these little videos are like someone saying something nice to you during your day. hope you had an awesome weekend and covid isnt kicking you and ya familys ass where you are , Peace !
Gaelco made some of the most insane coin-ops in existence. Their rabbit hole is totally worth falling into.
Radikal Bikers is just pure fun made video game.
Nice Daggerfall skeleton noise at the end, always forget that was a stock sound effect.
Glad I wasn't the only one to catch this lol
Now this is the kind of stuff that I am subbed to this channel for.
Total length of video: 254 secs.
Total length of "SNES Drunk": 4.5 secs.
1.77% of the video was spent listening to "SNES Drunk".
You're doing the lord's work keeping track of all this.
And now we know!
@@PSVitaat2am and knowing is half the battle!
SNES drunk: One fourth of health
Me: QUARTER
2.5×10⁻¹ health!
1/4th!!!!1!11
A big gap there
This game is make from Zeus Soft, how make original Risky woods for Amiga500, another greart title from Spanish gold era of software. Great video!!!
That possessed wasp well regular wasp comment had me laughing! Nice one 👌
Little trivia. Gaelco provided the arcade board and distribution, but his game was made by Zeus Software, mainly two guys, one of them creator and owner of Tequila Works, the indie developer that made RiME and The Sexy Brutale.
Quite the name for an arcade game...looks less like an arcade game and more like an Amiga game.
Game Developers: Let’s just smoke as much as we can and whatever happens, happens.
Anybody remember Risky Woods on the Amiga? Yeah, this has the exact same sound effects (listen to the character when he jumps, or that weird "meow" sound some enemies make when they die). Game also looks like it was made for European computers back in the day. The company is Spanish, so it figures, but it's still weird considering they mostly made arcade (not console/computer) games apparently.
I have known this game for ages and never realized, it's exactly the same sound! thing is Gaelco was an arcade developer, but this game was a collab made by Zeus Soft, the computer developer that made Risky Woods. Gaelco just contributed with the arcade board and distribution. That's why it looks like Three Wanderers made in Amiga with acid XD
@@elbitxo5945 I just looked it up, and you're right! Well, if we wanna be pedantic about it, Risky Woods itself was made by another Spanish company named Dinamic Software, but they coproduced it with Zeus Soft. So I guess the conclusion is: Spanish game makers in the 90s tended to share their sound effects collections lol. Or maybe they were just stock SFX, as SNES Drunk says in the video. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I remember playing this also on an older version of MAME years ago (the same older version where I played the Aliens arcade game on) and also the forest level somehow reminds me of Risky Woods for the Amiga and Genesis (which Zeus also developed).
The developers: let's make a Toy Story game but on crack!
I would say more LSD and steroids than crack
@@kenh3757 So, Small Soldiers on LSD
Sounds like a good idea!
@@parrata yeah, but without Gorgons
at the very very end that roar is used in a TON of media but to me it will always be the skeleton from daggerfall
Keep doing arcade reviews! Love them!
Haven’t watched the whole video yet.
But I love the channel, always great to learn about new and strange games I missed out on in the day.
Keep it up forever please!
Looks like an Amiga game on steroids, I love it!
*Possessed wasps...okay regular wasps really* 😂
@SNESdrunk first of all thank you for the channel, it's one of my favourite and a very useful resource for retrogaming lovers.
I noticed you have never reviewed james pond II, super james pond on the snes. It's one of the best platformer of it's time and a very unique one, definetely worth playing it if you never did!
Have a nice day
Been playing this for a while. Came across it on MAME years ago. It's one of those games that I'd love to run into a real cabinet but it's so incredibly unlikely, especially in North America. Awesome video!
Snes like I say every time thanks for helping me find new games to play and as always I enjoy the content
I was waiting for the day you’d review this. My brother and I found this randomly while deep diving through the arcade selection on his raspberry pi
Your reviews are awesome, thanks
I'll have to try some of these!
Inguz looks like a caricature of Kyle from Blackthorne.
I love this amiga style it's so unique and "sticker that your rock roll fan first have in his bedroom closet (sorry my bad English)
I have this on my pandora box. Game is pretty cool
What's a Pandora Box?
@@erc3338MAME box that you put in arcade cabinet or play directly off the box it's self
@@sammy61187 ah one of them. I wish I could afford one. But hey I've got an arcade stick and a PC so that'll have to do. It'd be so cool to have an actual arcade machine though
Fun for what it is
I googled what is a pandora box. Didn't know I needed this.
The videos where you don't say have a great rest of the day, always make me think maybe you were upset that day.
Speaking of Gaelco, you'll definitely need to check out Alligator Hunt. Its not what it sounds like.
I've been keeping my eye on that one since Piko acquired the rights to it, but no news yet
Starts of really crazy too. But gets tamer.
You need to do a special for Gaelco games. They are all pure arcade DNA, both their 2d and 3d games.
I didn't think an SNES game could visually define the entire year of 1997... Here we are
It's not a SNES game.
Yea, meant to say MAME
Clearly from that Earthworm Jim/ The Maxx weird side of the 90's.
Music to my ears. "Snnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnes Drunk!" Love it! As for the game, this really should've gotten a home release.
I’ve never seen this game before it actually looks pretty fuckin sweet
I wanna try it too!
The graphics are super dope!!!
@@carlcoats3997 Mame is your friend...
This game's been getting closer to 'cult classic' status as of late.
Always a good morning when i get this notification
This game uses two tracks from the movie ‘Subway’?? Or more, I haven’t fully played it.
It uses ‘Drumskate’ for for the map theme, and ‘Guns don’t kill people’ at the end of each level.
I wonder else might be sampled?
This looks like crazy fun! Can't wait to try it out!
I played this run & gun some time ago for a short time but never gave it much thought afterwards. I think I'll put it in the queue and give it another try. I wonder how it stacks up to something like Demon Front or SD Gundam Rainbow, which I've played recently.
This game is awesome! I got into about 3 years ago! To quote SNES Drunk “Play this one any way you can!”
Keep the "hit like before snnnnnnes drunk" ends going!
With a superior soundtrack this would have been in every arcade back in day!
Three wonders is one of my favorites!! Cover that next!
Me too, but I only have played the Genesis version so far. The art in that game is fantastic
It's crazy to consider that there's an entire arcade industry that runs parallel to the home console and PC gaming industry that has games and developers that you've never heard of. New complete arcade games are still released from companies that I have zero familiarity with. It's really wild and unexpected for someone like me who feels like they follow the industry closely.
This is from 1997
@@kenh3757 1995
This is an insane and underrated platformer, and I love it!
The look of this game is awesome! Very obscure.
I just started playing this game a few minutes ago. It's really hard to put down. Maybe the best arcade run n gun game ever made
Love this channel
Used to play a lot because it was easy and fun. I would 1cc . The art direction is super creative and the sound wacky.
it looks awesome.
FYI Now released for the Evercade. Great vid.
This looks badass. I really need to get my PC emulators running.
Yes, you do, mame 198
3 Wonders was really the first thing that came to mind with this one lol
The music playing towards the end of the video in the background sounds extremely familiar, swear it sounds like music from an old action movie, lol
I played this arcade machine back in the day,
this reminds me of a better arcade only game called 3 WONDERS , that machine had 3 modes but the platformer was the starr of the show, the flying one was okay but the puzzle one i don't think i ever saw anyone ever play it.
Contra in Wonderland! This game is awesome and works well on the NES Classic Edition. The music is pretty annoying in stages 1 and 2, though. It's a run-n-gun where you run and gun alternately instead of simultaneously.
That's actually the second toy I bought so far this year.
Oh word? What was the first?
Hi snesdrunk. Do you think youd cover ao no tengai oriental blue for the gba. It's a jrpg that's a spinoff to the tengai makyou series and was fan translated.
This game's quarter munching design does make it a bit frustrating, but it's wackiness and art style always brings me back to playing it.
Seriously "they don't make games like these anymore" lol
Hi there, I have been watching a bunch of SNES stuff lately and would like to get back into SNES games - specifically RPGs, which I never got into back in the day (except for Shadowrun). I will probably start with FF Mystic Quest or Super Mario RPG and maybe work may way up to something like ChronoTrigger, but what SNES emulator (and ROM website) would you recommend?
that looks fun as hell
If you loose 1/4th health bar from every hit, it seems you would only survive three hits were the fourth would indeed be fatal ;-) . Anyway, nice video with a game I didn't know existed!
The main character looks like Salt Bae taking out aliens in Dubai. You have to ask yourself, which came first.... This game... Or Salt Bae lol
Initially reminded me of the Amiga game Jim Power, mutant planet. Appearance wise at least
I have this game from like 10 years ago
INGUZ is as radically '90s as it gets
Sound design so bad it’s good.
Standing still to aim is classic European run n gun design.
Cool to see you cover an european arcade game.
@SNES drunk did you see the trailer for Ghost n Goblins resurrection
thanks dude, you too
This kind of colour palette and brightness / contrast looking. It seems like if it were created for the Snes console. But looking at this game and it's how saturates the main screen with enemies. Of course that the Snes wont handle too much. But, maybe the creators used an a special devkit that it's were compatible with the Snes hardware and they did this game only for the Arcades. Thats ok.
Hey man! What was the best year for video games? I say 1993. Well, it's at least in the top 10.
I think I will soon play this any way I can.
Can you review omf one must fall 2097 for ms-dos?
I miss wild surreal settings like this
this game looks fun
If you liked this one, check Alligator Hunt, also published by Gaelco.
Seems like a neat game.
Great now I need to fire up my cabinet and see if I have this on it.
I am sad that this wasn't SNES Drunk's first actual toy review.
is the Reverb in the audio present when you played the game in person or is this a result of weird emulation to recording shinanagins?
It's from the game, it's kind of annoying
The premise really reminds me of Power Pete / Mighty Mike
You know when people say something is "a lot"? This is what they have in mind.
Es bueno encontrar un juego español sobre el Tuber Viejuner
The main character looks like Danzig esp with the big belt buckle, lol
Never eve heard of it but I want to play it.
😈

This looks like a Jaguar game, but better.
These games still look good to this day and they play the best. I don need the best graphics. I just want to pick up and play and have fun
I think this game would have been great on the Sega genesis but it would obviously have a lot cut back port
I should check it out and play it. 😀👍🎮
For some reason this reminds me of a weird old PC game called "Weird Dreams".
Cheap? Quarter munching? Random respawns? Biomechanical Toy is quite an easy and fair game, but what can you expect from a review that doesn't even get the date right?
I'm getting heavy Amiga vibes from this art style.
same developer of Amiga's Risky Woods xD
@@elbitxo5945 Aha!
I'm playing this right now on a super cube x3
I normally don't have issues like this with games, but this makes me feel a little nauseous lol. IDK if it's all the colors or what.
When I saw the title I thought this was a toy review and I was confused.
The character totally looks like Geoff Tate from Queensryche
So that's why the character would RAISE HIS HEAD AND STARE, INTO THE EYES OF A STRAAANGERRRRRRRR
@@SNESdrunk that char most likely heard a revolution calling 👀😅
And because of that he DON'T BELIEVE IN LOOOOVE, HE NEVER HAS, HE NEVER WILLLLL
