I respect both of you so much for mentioning how there's a strength that men must sometimes exhibit when there are times of heavy hardship. I believe the true strength that men need to learn is when to be emotional and not lash them out at others. And learning that it's okay to cry.
This has to be the most profound, wholesome and relatable conversation I've come across. Growin up I was always hiding my love for videogames, and now in my adult life I still do in a way. Finding people to talk about games sometimes feels difficult because it's not a simple medium to engage with for the most part, but hearing you guys talk about comparing to the way people love film or literature has opened my eyes to explain it with that type of context, for those who don't understand the medium. Thank you so much for this Abubakar & Ben. Love the work you guys have put forth, and looking forward to Tales of Kenzera!
8 days from today will be 1 Year since I lost my Father. Seeing you guys be so open and vulnerable about such an intense moment grief is highly appreciated. Thank You
I've been playing games all my life, but I always feel like I have to keep it a secret from anyone who doesn't play games. My parents have said multiple times that I should never been exposed to gaming. I wish I can find people like the both of you where I can just talk about games without any restraints.
What an incredible conversation Ben did an amazing job in FF16 and it’s amazing listening to gamers gush over their love of the art. It’s even made me wanna go back and give Origins another try.
Thank you Abubakar & Ben for sharing this conversation with us. Such a genuine chat about your craft & passion for video games. Appreciate you speaking on your own experiences of loss & grief and how games helped you during those difficult times. It’s great to see so much mutual respect & love throughout this conversation, both for one another & the work of others in the industry. Your performances in AC Origins & FFXVI respectively were both phenomenal. True talents and I’m excited to see other projects from you both in the future.
I've been a huge fan of Ben Starr from the moment I heard his voice with Clive! I was not familiar with Abubakar's work since I was not a huge fan of AC, but his presentation of Tales of Kenzera ZAU was so touching! Absolutely love these two. This was a very enjoyable conversation to hear! Looking forward to hear more!
Its so cool to see two actors from some of my favourite games. Bayek is my favourite AC protagonist since Ezio and Clive is my favourite FF main character. Platinumed both games❤️
Thank you so much Abubakar and Ben for this wonderful conservation, very insightful, personal, and truly authentic in terms of your friendship. Would love to see more conversations between you both. We truly are in an amazing age where those who grew up on playing video games, can give back either by sharing their own experiences with other like minded people and build their own community or create their own immersive product that could have something unique to share and resonate with others. The medium is powerful, has so much unexplored territory, which is a exciting prospect and will eventually become a more respected form of entertainment when the public mass begin to gradually understand that. Wish you all the best with Tales of Kenzera, it’s looking great! 😊
@@D_Lemons No error there. The crossover event was Origins & Final Fantasy 15. But yeah, I know Clive was FF 16. I’m basically saying it’s canon, franchise/universe wise.

Bayek is one of the greatest characters in gaming, I'll never forget our journey through Egypt 🤌
