Biggest mistake, online shopping. Don't do it unless you're familiar with the brand and know your size. Also it's hard staring at the closet figuring out what to wear. I layed out every piece of clothing and shoes that i own on the bed and took pictures of them, make a photo gallery. I find it easier to scroll through the photos to pick out an outfit that way.
If you live in a smaller city where you only have 2 or 3 menswear stores that stock anything decent in very limited supply then online shopping becomes a lifesaver as it gives you access to more stuff and better deals that you would otherwise miss out on. The one thing I would never buy online though is a suit but that is something you don’t buy very often.
THIS IS THE BEST VIDEO ON THIS TOPIC!! Listen to this guy bros he knows exactly what hes talking about and gets straight to it without the bs of trying to sell you some crap skin care product. God bless!
This is great advice! As a woman I've watched many style videos geared toward women and it's honestly been a little overwhelming for me, but this video was simple and not too complicated and much appreciated!
I am overweight.. but I’ve also been dieting and working out since January.. I know I need to be patient.. and slowly I’ve been dipping my toes into new style
I'd love more videos like this! I shop for my husband and trying to elevate his style but still keep it unique and tailored to his unique view. Men's fashion is very ignored but when its done right, it makes all the difference. Please more of these videos!
This is incredibly helpful. Most of the videos I tried to watch were full of hypermasculine mumbo jumbo about being an alpha male. This is just honest and to the point. I appreciate you being willing to say the truth, which is for males your physique is really important in style. I am working on that now (15lbs down, 50 more to go). But this video helped me solidify what to do in the meantime.
93 subscribers? Did a double take. This is fantastic and to-the-point. Covers a lot of 101 stuff I don't remember hearing from previous "influencers" back when I was learning some of this stuff. Good production value too. (here's your 94th)
The advice our fathers should’ve given us. Thanks for the diversity too, like how you include all skin tones. One thing I did not see is places where we can shop. I myself am in shape but wear sweats or gym shirts every single day. It’s time for change, I just don’t know where to start shopping.
I like what you said about body shape. Many people avoid that topic due to the body shaming agenda going on right now, but it really is the number one thing a guy can do to look better.
Thank you for this useful video. I’ve been updating my own look after watching useful tips on TH-cam and now I want to update my husband’s look (with his permission). There isn’t as much advice available for men but you have some great tips. Thanks again.
To the point advice , & I am 72 & love dressing . So cut out the Grandpa , Women in Europe in 1960’. used to wear high heels beautiful skirts & stocking with black ribs. .What an era. Thank You
This was cool Danny. There are very few spaces for mens adult style online, and fewer still who can define it. Everything truly looks better when you're in shape.
What a brilliant, no BS Video on men's fashion/style advice. So many men lack confidence when choosing clothes and tend to follow the latest trends. well done on an excellent video, the best I've seen yet, thank you, Seamus
I think you pretty much nailed men’s style! Totally agree with your opinion on quality footwear and outerwear being worth with the extra money from a style point of view!
Very good video. I learned about getting a good wardrobe way back in my 20s. Helped a lot. Right about the jackets. My most cherished jackets are now 20 years old, but they still look modern. Look after your clothes, buy quality in some instances without breaking bank. I need to work on the shoes I think, vary the styles more, rather than buy more pairs.
Bro...Keep going man..I love this stuff...Im helping a few clients and friends with this exact stuff, Them hearing it from different people help spread the message...
As someone who loves comics, superheroes, movies, and pop culture, I agree with the graphic tees take. Unless you are going to an event like a movie premiere, game, Disney world, it can look childish. I prefer graphic tees when I'm chilling in the hosue.
You got my sub when you mentioned skin tone. Well done. So many guys miss this one, and demo colours that don't match us with lighter skin - we end up looking sickly. Cheers from NZ
Just found your channel, your video was full of very helpful tips and was straight to the point. Thank you, I will be following you from now on, I can see I will become a better man through your videos
Yeah you should make another video my friend I just learned a lot and I’m in the middle of changing the way I dress just to feel better about myself you hit home with a lot you were saying I appreciate you.
I love how simple you've made this. I always thought it was a chore or too complex to dress well. Only thing I personally see I would struggle to incorporate is jackets. I get hot real easily and my sweat stains are no joke lol. Due to that, I tend to take off whatever jacket, coat, etc, when I go inside.
Great video but all examples are youngsters, any chance of something more aimed at older (55+) men please ? Or do the same rules apply irrespective of age. Regards from England.
Same rules apply. This advice is aimed at creating a timeless warddrobe that works regardless of trends or age. Classic masculine pieces & style. Thanks for watching
In terms of color choices for pale skinned men, I would also add the relevance of skin color undertones. Cool undertoned and slightly "pinkish" looking dudes seem to look better in grey's, navys and blacks and faded greens like sage, while men with warm undertones get generally washed out by greys and blacks. Because of that and the lightly orange-yellow vibe of warm undertoned, yet fair skin, those men should lean towards navys, browns, beiges, whites and even shades of khaki/olive. As a northern German I got lighter skin with warm undertones myself and I look absolutely awful in black and most shades of grey as they make me look ill and washed out. On the other side, navy, white, brown/beige and green/khaki look much more harmonious on my "warm skin" and pair better with my blue eyes and medium brown hair.
"80% of of style is being fit" Well, what about those of us who aren't fit (that's most of the population)? The point of styling is to look better without having to get fit or other irrelevancies. "Jeans and a T-shirt"? No average man looks good in a t-shirt after the age of 25 or so. The point of styling is to look better with the body you have.
Great video. My husband hates clothes shopping. He also is very picky. I’d love some advice on where to shop/quality brands. We are late 30’s so looking for nice pieces. He’s very tall and slim. Finding his size is tricky. I will say, being that we live in FL, flip flops and surf style are huge. I think he might own one very light jacket if that lol.
It’s easier to put on a good look when you’re tall and the outfits combo you recommended definitely look great. But what do you do when you’re 5’9 and still want to make a good appeal? I’m technically really fit and athletic, but me putting up a similar outfit to my 6’1 friend just doesn’t create the same impression.
I am 76. However, the other day three coworkers stopped me to ask a question (yes, I still work). It was one man and two 20-something women. Apparently, they had been arguing about my age, so the guy blurted out, "How old are you, really?" I laughed and then told them. The response of the gals was priceless. One said loudly, "No, way!!" The other said, "You are kidding!" Then they asked, "What is your secret, we thought you were no older than 60?" I told them that a good diet and resistance training are pivotal. I have been lifting weights for 50 years and am stronger now than 30 years ago. I also weigh the same as when I was in college--with lower body fat and more muscle. This really is a great key to looking great at any age.
Great advice thank you for the simple and great explanation. Now I will focus on losing weight before I invest in any new clothes. Please keep making this videos
Hey Danny Vera, thanks for another fantastic video on men's fashion! I've been really enjoying your content, and it's always so informative and helpful. I'd love to see a video specifically dedicated to the rules and tips for wearing leather belts. I think it's a crucial accessory that can make or break an outfit, and your expertise would be invaluable in helping us all step up our style game. Keep up the great work, looking forward to more awesome fashion advice!" 🕴👞💼👔
This is so important for success too. The shiny clean dudes will get the promotion, and will be trusted and admired. The sloppy one will be kept working harder and harder. I've been both.
Im dark skinned and skinny as well. Bro slim fit 100% stretch cotton basic tees is the way. with slim or skinny fit jeans. added with a watch and chain.

This guy really knows his stuff . Mate I actually believe you are the best on men’s style and grooming 🇮🇹
You are so right in what you said “if you can wear a t-shirt and jeans look good, you can wear anything”
Returns are very easy online. Order multiple sizes if not sure. Helps with free shipping too

Yo because men's items come in 10 and yours go 100 diff it's confusing even seeing ads
No BS ads or sponsors, and spot on about skin tone, knowing what season your skin is numero uno.
Yup. Got almost 8 straight minutes of free advice without any solicitations. That was great. I'd love to see more.

So right about being in shape!!
Be in shape but also try on clothes that fit you well, try on medium and try on large and see which one fits you well.
