      I'm personally overweight but my doctor says my sugar is normal and I've had this neck issue since a teen. I've just gotten used to it but I think I've also just been ignoring it. I'm very much ready to be even skin toned. I wanna glow ◇ lol. Also when I lost 50 pounds I didn't see any noticeable changes in my complexion. Time for another solution.

    my neck area was dark fom a teen ager on up. i was (and still am) considered obese. Well I was diagnosed wkith diabetes in 2014. immediately cut carbs lost about 80lbs then had weight loss surgery lost another 80. neck lightened 100% face skin also brightened.they match now. so in my case it was weight and insulin resistance. oh the diabetes is gone too

    Use 2 spoons of turmeric powder (u can get it at whole foods, walmart, target, cvs, walgreens ) and add a some milk or lemon juice , leave it on ur neck/underarms for 15 mins , do it daily and you'll see results , when it clears up make sure to exfoliate and moisturize 💕

  • @Azizajewelry
    @Azizajewelry 4 ปีที่แล้ว +179

    I just use lemon to lighten underarms, acne, and dark spots and it really works! The key is consistency. You have to remember to do it and do it often. Another HUGE TIP is diet. Once I cut all sugar out of my diet, most of my dark spots actually disappeared. When I started eating sugar again, they came back. Diet is key. Otherwise, you’ll have to keep doing these external skin treatments ALL the time! 😔

      Hey lovely people. Just wanted to tell you a tip that most bloggers say. I am not an expert but I’ve heard it a lot.
      They say you should only use mixtures with lemon on your skin at night/evening time because you should never expose lemoned-skin with the sun i.e. do not go outside immedietely after.
      So the lemon recipe is recommended for after sunset ❤️

    Amlactin lotion is a lactic acid lotion that softens skin and helps to remove dark build up on skin.
    I exfoliate everytime I bathe/shower with nylon exfoliating gloves. A nylon exfoliating cloth is great for your back. Moisturize with cocoa butter first then Amlactin. Always use circular motions to cleanse & moisturize.
    Let me say that taking baths to soak & pamper is an investment in your beauty. Showers are for quick out the door hygiene.

      I've found you don't have to do it every single day to get results, and most dermatologists don't recommend exfoliating or using masks everyday anyway. Try picking two or three days a week to do it and set alarms for it or add it to another routine that you already do.

    I just discovered this channel and I am enjoying the content♥️♥️♥️I’m just a bit torn because I too was doing my own DIY skincare made with food items and my dermatologist told me to STOP and that certain foods like lemon, baking soda, nuts, coffee & apple cider vinegar are too strong and are made to be eaten not worn. She said that there are many products formulated with Vitamin C, B3, B5 and other actives made primarily for the skin. She’s an African American dermatologist & cosmetic chemist. I have trusted her with my skin for over 12 years now. I’m a lupus & ovarian cancer survivor, so for me....I have to be very mindful of products and active ingredient in my skin care. I do use some chemicals & acids but on those days when I’m not targeting skin concerns I lean more towards enzymes & minerals😘

      @@LPSMuffinCake556 meats is a hug thing and chicken I cut out but I would have to say what makes the biggest impact is the meat. I ate a ton more veggies, I never liked dairy so I dont really worry about cutting it out when I already had alternatives. And lots of water. But it's up to you. I also feel like you have to kind of make it permanent for me I completely changed my eating habits so I didnt see it as a diet and I actually stuck to it. My weight gain was crazy fast I started getting darkening and it looking worse after losing weight. But following her remedies was a definite yes for me!

    You're beautiful and your skin is flawless... Thanks for the info, my 10yr old has this. His neck, underarms and elbows are almost black. I've tried everything and Zero results I feel sorry for him because it looks like he's dirty so kids at his school seem to mention it a lot. He's a sweet boy who's gained a lot of weight in the last year. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend.

    If you could answer this it’d be so helpful, does Noxema help with dark spots as well ?

  • @Hesangelg
    @Hesangelg 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    The informative/beginning of this video is very true and well explained, but I have been to a dermatologist and he stated the only way your neck is going to get lighter is if you loose an excess amount of weight (like she did), because your insulin levels and blood flow become normal. I used to be 260 lbs and my neck was this dark/purple color with thick, I’m talking massive creases and I have lost about 50 lbs since then and my neck has definitely become lighter. I guess you can try these remedies but don’t expect it to go away!
