I was the M53... at 10:51 I didn't have any kind of shot. I had to abandon my usual spot as the left side was left completely open and that T28 in the video was afk for most of the battle. The final shot I was just lucky to get off, there's not really time for aiming at that point. GG
Wow, this made my week having my replay shown by you Jingles! I really enjoy playing the Centurion 7/1 especially with the HESH rounds, they feel so rewarding.
The Heshurion is truly an amazing tank, it's my most played tank on my account with over 1.5k battles. Truly amazing, never could go wrong with some good ol' Bri'ish steel
there's just something about it that makes you want to keep playing it. I love my centurions. the 7/1 was my first to earn a MOE, and the AX is my strongest tier 10 yet.
To be fair to the enemy Char futur 4, he wasn't at all able of "dealing 4 shots for 1 shot taken against a Centurion" as you said, Oh Mighty Gnome Overlord : the CF4 has a huge 4 second intraclip reload.
I always love the opening sequence containing the leaping platoon of TOGs. TOGs were such fun in those days. I still have mind. Not going to get rid of it.
To answer that question jingles that’s a M 6 Yoh. Member of the Yoh series of Tanks which comes with the Emergency Traction, it’s basically a Track within a Track, including a having a auto loader and to me they look like Alien Potato Tanks 3:05
The thumbnail font makes it look like the title is "Triumph of the Hill", which I can only assume would be a sitcom about the Congress of the United States.
Using the title makes it definitely easy to confuse with the Riefenstahl movie. As a German my first reaction was something like "WTF? Get the pitchforks!"
The exes parents used to live just up the road from Bovington, and our trips to visit from Poole took us past the tank training track, so we used to see quite a lot of Centurions bimbling about
I'm sure Leni Riefenstahl would approve of the title of this video. Although.... I suspect some of the people googling it might be a tad disappointed that they're not seeing what they'd hoped to.🤨
Not to be confused with the excellent track of the same name on Devo's "Duty Now For the Future." Actually, Jingles, there's literally thousands of videos on youtube featuring (and mentioning) practically the entirety of that whole bunch of people by name, and those channels do fine.
My most played tank is the Centurion 7/1 so i was taking notes. As a note Jingles, there is a Centurion still on guard, on a roundabout in Leyland where the engines were built but it believe thats a Centurion Mk 1.
Ah the old Centurion 7/1 I do love the tank but the problem of this tank I suffer the most is getting ammo racked, fuel tank damage and getting penetrate through the turret
I experience ammo rack damage with every shot that enters the lower plate, the best ones are where you get tracked aswell. Track hit, we're lucky it didn't blow
11:22... jingles used a phrase, "power to weight ratio". And I chuckled and thought of the line from mighty pythons and the holy grail. "It's not a question of where he GRIPS it, it's a simple question of weight ratio. A 5 ounce bird, could not carry a 1 lbs. Coconut!"

I mean, I don't blame you for loving the Cent. Although the Chieftain is my baby (at least, until I get my Chally 1 in WT), but the Cent 10 is amazing. I love it
Unrelated to this video but I just seen the operations room video with you in it talking about the USS missouri coming under attack by iraqi forces just what a story man been a long time subscriber of ya and glad to see you feature on another yt channel I frequent.
Honestly, as much as i enjoy you, Jingles, the title made me click here. Leni where art thou? lol. My film class made me sit through Triumph of the Will many many years ago.
I hate the fact that in tanks like the Char Futur 4, which has a high skill cap, I can get great matches a lot, but never battles amazing enough to be featured on TH-cam :D Also, I got a battle with the BatChat 25t with the stock gun where I got 7k damage xD
B/c I am too lazy to find a means to transcribe this more personally and discreetly, I do so here. I have been a consumer of your's(Jingle's) content for near-on ten years now. Mark-VII Centurian. your absolute favorite Tank you say... o~0 Mighty TOG-II felt a great disturbance in the force and is now a very sad tank indeed. 9~9
I like playing certain vehicles if, given the time to work, can be really good. I think the 7/1 falls into that category (I also like the Charioteer at tier 8). Well done Will.
i grew up in pmq;s at CFB Petawawa they had centurions parked in a fenced enclosure and maintenance depot we would sneak over the fences and barbed wire toping to crawl in side and on the tanks long time ago the base commander was a little round man name of Radley Walters
During my time of playing, both Centurions are torture, the first one has sluggish acceleration and the other stuck at 40km/h max speed. When enemy players realized what are they up against and I'm on the opposite side on the map from the base, they usually go for cap and for most of the time I can't make it back in time thanks to 40km/h of 'fast' medium tank. And when I got caught in the side, I'm even bigger than some heavy tank.
Well, no disrespect, but it sounds like you're trying to play it like a fast medium and that's really not gonna work. You gotta prioritize positioning and map awareness in the centurion or you're gonna have a terrible time. It's as fast as it needs to be to play it's game style. That said, it's game style isn't exactly favoured in the meta so even if you play it perfectly it might still not be for you. Good luck, bud.
Gonna say this as a WT player seeing this map makes me wanna try wot it just looks soooo beautiful compared to anything anything in WT like goddamn those bushes and mountains are stellar
As an ex-WoT player, the maps are all incredibly beautiful to look at. TH-cam doesn't really do it justice, there's so much colour and attention to detail, and the lighting is superb. Map design, on the other hand... well, you can't have it all lol. But seriously, it's worth at least trying. Just get out before you feel compelled to "skip the grind" and you'll probably be more fond of the game than I am.
I recently came back to the game and was surprised by this too. It certainly wasn't always a thing but it's been for a while I assume. I love how sounds kind of gets muted when an arty shot is incoming, doesn't solve the whole arty issue but it's a nice 1 second warning to duck...
@@LilGamingYes There's also a perk called "Sound Detection" (not sure for which crew member) that shows you the direction of enemy arty upon firing. And depending on map size/position etc. it's usually a 3-4 second warning.
Wondering your thoughts on the new reward tank Jingles? The all new singing all dancing tier 9 English Autoloader. 2000 burst damage per clip. Dam thing is a menace on the battle field. The new Cobra?
Lol, is that a replay bug @ 8:53 that shows the T28 pointing it's gun at the dirt? If not, why was he pointed at the ground??? Hadn't Will been spotted already up there at that point? With allies like these?
Actually Jingles (always wanted to say that) he is only making a profit because he is running a credit reserve (+29k credits). Otherwise he would have lost money.
Can we take a moment to appreciate how beautiful this game is rn in comparison to like 8 years ago? It's actually a shame it belongs to one of the most evil, money-hungry, arrogant and disrespectful corporations in the market. Hope I'm wrong.
It may be beautiful but is horrible in the inside and a much worse experience than like 8 years ago. They ruined many core things from the game: - Rehusable in battle consumables, removes a tactical part of crippling the enemy. - Increased health in low-mid tiers made tanks damage sponges and broke the fast and fun pace of these tiers. - HE nerf removed weapon diversity, and made the game even more just press 2. - More and more p2w tanks over the years. - Not nerfing premium tanks and making them keep old game mechanics. Them keeping high vision, or better camo rating while shooting. - No action against clear sealcubing tanks, years and years with no balance changes. - Laughable historical accuracy, horrible and unpleasant high tier with ww2 tanks vs 60s tanks.
2:49 Centurion gun is copy D-10T 100mm, in Wiki: Soviet T-54 tanks served in combat during the Hungarian Revolution in 1956 and a few were successfully knocked out by the defending anti-Soviet Hungarian resistance-fighters and rebels using Molotov cocktails and several anti-tank guns.[19] The local anti-communist revolutionaries delivered one captured T-54A to the British Embassy in Budapest,[citation needed] the analyses and studies of which helped and spurred the development of the Royal Ordnance L7 105 mm tank gun.
it's not a copy........ you are correct in all aspects but that. Based on the results of those tests, Royal Ordnance designed a gun that was supposed to be (and I would argue was) superior in every way to the D10 series
The good old Cent. The meta is not good for british tanks (except Chieftain), it hasn´t aged well. But it´s still a heck of fun to play and HESH the Skorps, Borassques and anything else that does not have 200mm of armor.
Actually Jingles, when you start talking about the Hesh, he returned back to the APCR Now, is it far fetched of me to ask the Overlord Gnome to be merciful? Yes? Well...... *NIGERUNDAYO*
Biggest downside of centurions is shell cost. Its sooo expensive without any reason. Tier 8 centurion has almost the same gun as indian panzer but indian has cheap ammo.
Fun history fact: Britain created the world's first shitpost status video by editing Triumph of the Will to depict the Nazis dancing to the popular at the time song "Lambeth Walk." They titled it "General Adolph Takes Over," and it's up on TH-cam if you're interested. I'm not kidding. They took German propaganda footage and made a meme out of it. You can't make this stuff up.
Watched this during a Genshin snack break and, as many may know, Genshin audio plays through even when alt-tabbed from the game so I had a bone flute backing track to this battle which added nicely to the atmosphere. A very enjoyable distraction from the Genshin grind & some much needed refueling for me. Double win :)
Actually Jingles only infantry can take and hold ground! At the risk of relating anything in this game to realism I was under the impression that HESH did not penetrate but rather squashes against the turret ,detonates ,causing fragments to break off inside and fly around the turret shredding the crew.?
This tank is a driving ammo rack... Everytime I see one on the enemy team and I hear the crit sound when hitting it, you can be sure it was the ammo rack or fuel tank. British meds as well as German meds just arent good enough anymore. Two hits and you are out of the game, usually. For some time I took a small and a large rep kit on the British meds, just to keep shooting and not driving around mith the rounds on the floor.
Remember the battle of Lille where French backed the British : "This gallant stand helped the beleaguered Anglo-French forces around the port to hold out for an additionnal two or three days and thus save at least 100 000 more troops" W.Churchill War memories. Gal Georg von Küchler 18h army, war diary "Despite our crushing superiority in numbers and materials, the French counter-attack in many places.." "I don't manage to understand how these soldiers, fighting in maby places outnumbered one to twenty, still find the strength to launch any assault. That's astounding." "I find again in these French soldier the same ardour of those of Verdun in 1916" "We can't penetrate anywhere, and suffer terrifying casualties." "Dunkirk is a reverse for us. Almost all the B.E.F and a part of the 1rst French Army have got away from us because some thousand of brave frenchmen have blocked our way to the sea" "Dunkirk brings me the evidence that the French soldier is one of the best in the world, resisting for ten days to our largely more numerous and powerful forces" "The French Army probably saved Great Britain from the defeat, allowinng their professional army to reach the English coasts." Centurion backs up autoloaders. Afterwards, surviving autoloader wanders off to leave Centurion holding the corner alone, with no spotter. #MuchTeam #SoGrateful

Gal Georg von Küchler 18h army, war diary
"Despite our crushing superiority in numbers and materials, the French counter-attack in many places.."
"I don't manage to understand how these soldiers, fighting in maby places outnumbered one to twenty, still find the strength to launch any assault. That's astounding."
"I find again in these French soldier the same ardour of those of Verdun in 1916"
"We can't penetrate anywhere, and suffer terrifying casualties."

"Dunkirk brings me the evidence that the French soldier is one of the best in the world, resisting for ten days to our largely more numerous and powerful forces"
"The French Army probably saved Great Britain from the defeat, allowinng their professional army to reach the English coasts."

Copies were fitted to Chinese tanks like the Type 59 and Type 80.
@@The_MightyJingles Ah ok. I did wonder because when I think of Soviet tank guns, the 100, 115 and 125mm guns spring to mind.
