@@Berzilla I think that was not a camo set, it was paint buckets with decals slapped (which is why the gun barrel has different color).
I really wish WG will give plain paint buckets as rewards. We already have so many 2D styles now, but afaik they never give us the plain paint buckets which are great for custom painting (which you could only buy with gold)
@@zeroyuki92 WG has given away paint a few times. Most notably on St. Patty's day. Lots of green, lol.
FYI, that's paint. The downside is that you don't get any camo bonus.

Kudos to you for actually trying to understand whether you were right. Nothing worse than arguing for the wrong side in the event you figure it way wrong.
Man I’ve experienced this myself a few times annoyingly, like when I was in my IS-7 peaking a ridge I accidentally reversed into the side of a Leo who was using the ridge too, making him miss 1 shot, for him to then start full on pushing me up the ridge and getting me killed
how can u play with a Leo (t7) in a IS 7 (t10)? it's an imposible match making

Ive been playing the AT8 for the past couple days. If you've ever played very slow tanks, you can appreciate when team mates help push you on the opening charge or in flushing out the enemy. Especially when you have most of your hit points and can take the punishment. Most of the time I havent asked, or they havent asked, they just do it. Pushing is situational though, glad you could tell this was a trolling situation.
Especially at the beginning of the match, someone being a "bolt on" turbo for you is very appreciated.
I don’t know why people push slower vehicles at all
They’re much better off going ahead and contesting key map positions and waiting for your arrival than they are by pushing you. That’s two tanks out of the fight instead of just one

@@CrazyPanda688 fair points, I have also had moments when I arrived on the scene after the initial encounter and helped turn the tide because the enemy were already locked in positions they would probably not be in if I had been there from the beginning.

I like how, in the thumbnail, he didn’t cut out the end of the gun of the tank trolling the AT 8, making it look like either the troll face had a big nose, or a tank was wearing a troll face mask
I once managed to completely trap a troll between my Maus and a wall. Again it was someone who pushed our TDs out of cover…. But not for long :)
One of the few times where I miss being able to kill allies
You know you'd be no better than them, and the trolls themselves certainly calmed down, or started to leave the game out of boredom. The kind of people who have no patience and the temper of a 3yr old born from a mental patient ofc can't shoot up team mates just because 2 minutes ago they took a bush the idiot now wants...
It's better as is. Even though I myself slightly miss the whole "risk of hitting an ally", when they're too close, adrenaline etc.
@@GrasshopperKelly Well, they could have kept team damage if they did something other games have done, which is to make it also damage yourself and there are a variety of ways to implement it, such as splitting the damage let's say 70% to you 30% to allies or capping the amount hp you can take from allies and making a kill shot also kill you, obviously that still leaves some room for abuse but as long as it hurts the person doing it more than your teammates, overall there would have been far fewer trolls.

You really never know how one little decision in the game can have a huge effect on the outcome. I once went out of my way to flip up an overturned ally and he went on to be the last surviving player against multiple enemies and won the game.

Ah, the rare case of being the good guy in WoT actually paying off!
Even though I defected to War Thunder 4-5 years ago, I'll never forget the time I tried to help a flipped ally back onto their tracks in Sand River; failed to do so, got their death attributed to me as a teamkill, turned blue, got killed by my team, and then banned for several days...all in the space of about a minute, just for trying help. Just one of many compounding reasons I stopped playing WoT~ :P

There you find yourself helping out your fellow team mate. Things go a little wrong and before you know it the whole entirety of the game ends up stabing you in the back.
All of which lead you to swapping to WarThunder somewhat years ealyer than me.
The funny thing is that you most likely killed me in WT. Bcs I am really bad at it.
Which means WoT made you kill me in an other game. Which could mean Wargaming made it up to you in WarThunder.

This is so common it's happened to me many times. How about when you are in a position that some idiot wants and he just tries to push u out of it? Happens almost daily during the holidays cuz all the trolls are out trying to make credits...
The worst part is when they reset your camo, you only notice when your finger is instinctively pressing LMB, but it's too late...
And you loose >50% of your HP
if its bad, like you get pushed in to enemy line of fire and lose a lot of hp or even get killed, just make a ticket on wot webpage with replay and wg actually will ban that player for a few days
Happened to me the other day. Guy pushed me from behind completely unprovoked, I got spotted and lost half my hp. I unfortunately got petty and tried to push him back and it was awful timing, dead tanks were spectating and calling me out and said they'd report me lol

@@SmallPotato2313 I have seen streamers getting banned quite a bit, so if they can easily ban streamers, simple player should be very easy

Sometimes pushing can be beneficial, especially for tanks with good top speed that can't reach them on flat ground. I do push teammates so that they can get somewhere quicker due to them having more armor than me, needing to help them escape certain doom, or just being in a higher tier tank than me, thus being more valuable. I've had people push me, on rare occasions, to help me get to places quicker. It can be beneficial, you just need to be able to determine when they are being a troll and when they are genuinely doing it to help you (I rarely see the former though).
I often do the push when I am in a fast medium. I push a slower heavy to get our team set up on a corner. Wait to see best chance to swing in and past the heavies to make them turn their gun and put a few in them as my heavies take them out.
Agree! I favor faster tanks, so I often push the slow ones up to the fight. Usually I break off before they are too close, but if ever a tank doesn't want a push, they can stop moving forward and there is no way I can push them further. If that happens, I just move along and let them finish their advance.
QB, glad that worked out as it did, glad WG didn't do something to you or the AT8 for dealing with the T25 in a righteous manner. Good job, and props to the AT8 driver on the good play and great game.

I remember an incident a while back on Province. I was in my VK 30.01 h on the southern spawn and was on the hill on the right of the map. There was a Swedish tank, I believe, with me, and we were sniping the enemies from behind the bush. I was far enough away from the bush not to be spotted, but he was right in it and was getting pinned down by the enemy. They got really mad and attempted to try and push my tank and kept shooting me, but ultimate German armor (fat tanky bois) proved to be a match for the sweed's tank. All he did was just make me a bit slower. After he loaded his ENTIRE ammunition on me, he drove off a cliff. I then carried the team to victory.
And the other game I can recall was in Ensk. I was in my little Luchs and was basically harassed by our artillery the entire game. Luckily they weren't stunning me, but they costed us the game by not actually shooting anyone else. Was really mad at that one.
I just try to ignore trolls trolling me if they aren't doing anything harmful to my tank. But if I see a troll on my team, I will bully them into submission with my tank, no regrets. I can usually tell when the guy I'm bullying is the troll or not lol. Love my heavy german tanks.
They both were fighting over the same spot. T 25/2 was using the bush line first rather than the bare hill. Ideally anyone else who joins (maybe with worst gun depression and needs a different part of the ridge), they should be respectful about it. That I would hope one TD player to another TD player, they understand if their teammate gets in front of them briefly (the TD is providing overwatch to the hill and the medium/heavy is cresting and retreating along the hill). Its part of the job description to be a support tank and holding your round. However not looking and parking yourself clearly in front of another tank is a nonstarter.
The T 25/2 wasnt very gracious about relocating or telling the AT about the camo the T 25/2 wanted to maintain. However both going on about how they loved each other's mums is like adding petrol to a fire and hoping that will smother it. Its only a lose-lose situation.
It was right to break these two TD apart. WoT could be better if we all spoke the same language lol. I feel like Siege does have this same issue when people dont use mics (that often players solo queueing are setting up fancy traps or using unique sightlines to ambush opponents) but once people start chatting with coms properly, using complete sentences. The game is much more playable, because you are collaborating.
Mics improve gameplay when players and devs can moderate violence correctly.
Maybe there should be 5v5 modes (once a quarter, trails and ranked). That you want teams and platoons of 5 can be formed. Ideally you have teams of 15 v 15 and play WoT correctly (medium engagements per how the game was designed for) but coordinating platoons>5 is hard. Maybe the incentive is more bonds (winning and losing players earn bonds). That is how WG promotes teamwork.

I have experienced this in my char mle, a rly good player just didnt have his day and chased me across the map(btw i hadnt done anything to him and was just minding my buisness , same situation as the at-8 ) and tried to drown me i then finally pushed back and then he managed to drown himself , i later saw that he was in the same clan that i was in 2-3 years prior, was quite funny to see how angry he got over literally nothing
I still have this happen to me in Warships to this day. Over a situation in our clan almost three years ago. I was a executive officer and one of our members got salty during clan battles because he got demoted to our Bravo team for not playing well. I didn't even do the demotion. Our commander did. But now every time I drop into a random battle with him. He just spends the whole game ramming me with his ship. LOL It's quite interesting. I have sent the replays into customer support numerous times but evidently they still refuse to ban him. I'm assuming he just gets a minor chat suspension or some crap like that.
Every time QB says "remember to uncheck accelerated crew training" i feel the need to remind him, that the average player does not have the luxury to keep the tanks they played through^^
The average player usually has to sell the tanks once they researched the next one because they need the crew, the credits and the garage slot for the successor.
Well, I wouldn't say this is an average. I keep tanks which I enjoyed playing and grind credits for new ones so I don't have to always sell

Yea, but as a newer player it takes a long time to get the eonomy (premium tanks) or garage capacity to even think about keeping tanks.
I am currently on 81k games with 61.5% winrate, but since i always played entirely for free i did not have enough garage slots or credits for the first ~30k games. Sure, keeping tanks you like is fine, but just casually keeping everything you've ever played is just not feasible for the average free-to-play player.
I have many questions and one of those is do the Chinese even know that they have developed a branch of heavy tanks with rocket boosts? 🤔
Grinding the AT8 right now, once you get a handle on it and a couple of modules, it can be a beastie. GG

New to WOT and that happened to me recently, although not quite so clearly trolling. Got bumped forward out of cover by some idiot and was instantly obliterated. Thought it might be just an accident at the time but I'm gonna be on the lookout for it now!

The Troll made it possible for the British TD to get a Radley Walters Medal.
He clearly anticipated the path the AT8 would take if he started to push him.
He negated the horrible Power to weight by sacrificing his own freedom of movement by simply pushing him.
And having you QB braking up the seemingly troll player put faith and strength in to the AT's decision making.
A very wise T25/2 of which we can learn how this game truely works. What a master of World of Tanks.
It will take me years to have such a visioning power.

One time i went to a passive position in my medium (its the kind of position tds like to also sit in) a td drove towards me and started pinging me to fall back, when i didnt react he started pushing me out.... after doing it twice i fell back, drove up behind him, fired to get spotted and waited for him to explode, thats how you handle a troll... then he started flaming the chat and said you will get banned, i answered yea sure send in the replay and get us both banned for the shit we did... never got banned

You absolutely did the right thing QB - morally at least. There was absolutely no excuse for that T-25 player's behaviour.
You're probably safe as a CC / well-known streamer, but I'd take a temporary ban to help out a team mate that was being griefed. Think the video evidence would definitely support your case.
But yeah - very important to try and make sure they are actually being trolled before you intervene.
I'm lucky I didn't get banned when a troll tried to push me off a cliff. I maneuvered around him and managed to push him off instead. I was blue for the next several games.

I had a similar experience in ghost town, in the only time I have knowingly been on the same team as QuickyBaby. It was before people started spoofing their own names.
I'd parked myself in a bush on a hill and was waiting for an opportunity and a teammate came up behind me, shoved me out of the bush, and then straight off the side of the hill. I lost my rag big time and called him an effing asshole in chat. I then made my way up to the top of the hill and he shoved me off it again. Can't remember the rest of the game after this point.
Immediately after I got shoved off the first time someone noted that you were in the team and said QuickyBaby! in chat, a fraction of a second before I called the bushwhacker what I called him, so it may have looked like I said it to you.

Thanks for the info on trolling. I have been on WOT for about 9 years. Doesn't happen often, but I have been trolled a few times over the years. Didn't know pushing isn't allowed. Driving a slower tank, the E100 is my regular driver, getting a push up a hill is always welcomed, and I have reciprocated from time to time when running a faster tank. Guess I am lucky no one has complained.

QB, pls show your viewers how to send in a ticket to the wg-support if they experience behavior like that. this will usually mean a ban of 3-7 days.
and yes ppl, there will be bans. i got banned once for 3 days for giving a camping heavy a light push. he didnt get damaged, spotted, anything. just a push, after that i left him alone --> 3 days :D

To be fair, it wasn't you that got him killed. He was behind cover from who shot him. He was in a blind rage and wasn't even pointed at that lit enemy and then drove across that open street, so he fully had a chance and should have been bigger that whole time. I guess he thought he had a perfect bush when he was outside of it to begin with. Plus bush doesn't work if you are firing. He as top tier had a bigger responsibility for team and yeah, good call man! Turned into an epic replay!
That's when I just pull back from the fight and wait. They usually, and fairly quickly, get bored or realise that the team needs help

I've definitely had to help break up my fair share of arguments in chat. Not sure about physically though. I feel like it has happened before, but I can't put my thumb on a memory like I can for the team chat. Good on you though QB. I appreciate the kindness you showed the AT8.
It can be problematic, if you report this to WG, and probably a lot of people would if they would know the player name, WG will actually ban this guy, and QB also pushed that guy in to line of fire, and they would have to ban him too, and they would, there are many instances where streamers got banned for similar things.

Had a same experience like this on the same map, same location, me on the 215b 183 while the other one was on a medium tank, tier 10, while on a press account. He made sure I got a strike on that even though he's the one that pushed me in to the line of fire.

When people push me in WoT they usually help me because the Tank I'm playing is Slow.
Experienced trolls 2 times today, cuz i played an armored TD and used a position to hide my lower plate like most heavies, but then some of those heavies where like:"YoU sTuPiD?? tDs MuSt CaMp" and push me out of the way cuz i'm usually much lighter, sometimes karma comes in, sometimes not, and i become their troll for the whole game 🤷🏽♂️
And when i see that on the enemy team (more than u think) i usually focus the troll instead
...
A pretty weird suggestion, but as wg disabled friendly fire, i suggest also disabling moving of friendly tanks (except friendly corpses)
The other day, Two KV-1SA blocked my Val AT from moving completely almost the whole game.
Nobody helped me, and got reported too for antagonizing them

Sometimes I have bad games but what lightens my mood is when someone on the team all butthurt and starts hurling pathetic abuse at me or someone else. Even better if they send abuse in chat. It's fun to report them and openly mock them for getting so worked up over a damned game. What's even funnier is finding out their service record is worse than mine is. I've had people raging at me out and I look at their record and they've played 10x the number of battles and have a lower winrate. I do love to rub their noses in it when that happens.
I mean, it's not against the ToS to 'push' someone without context. If I'm playing in a fat slow tank, I welcome a little boost to get deployed faster. It's pushing someone into fire or hindering them intentionally when you get into trouble. So with that in mind, QB also kinda at fault for getting the T25/2 stunned, tracked, and eventually killed. He could have put in a ticket against QB and possibly been found to be in the right.

After the battle I DM the O-NI troll and he only message is "F**K PREMIUM TANKS, FREE TECH TREE TANKS"

The AT8 did park in front of the T25/2 blocking his shot, that's what started it all. However the T25/2 could have just called him a dick and moved on instead of all the kindergarten level payback.

Most of the players who plays turreted tds like that always camp instead of using their type of td in corners and not in the bushes. Casemate like AT8, Jadg, Sturer are good in camping bushes or in a position where they can fire directly.
The T-25-2's plan to sacrifice the AT-8 to the enemy would have worked if it wasn't for that meddling Type 58 ...

I had someone shove me into a Minotauro yesterday in my T30, I had some choice words for them.
I often try and help slow tanks like the IO and ATs get into battle. I hope that won't get me a ban, if they don't want a little help, especially with hills, they stop and I move on.
same thing happened to me earlier today, told him i was recording and i was gonna send in the replay and it stopped! lol
