Buckethead makes masterpieces. He does everything that all the other greats before him wouldnt dare. Not trying or wanting to take anything from any great guitarist dead or alive, but this guy is different! He plays as if all of us breath. It almost as if he could play in his sleep. And continues pumping them out abundently! It almost seems impossible!
Buckethead is a genre of its own.

@@MrMikey530 Couldn't agree more dude. That's so wild that I posted that comment 11 years ago! Damn what a trip. I used to be obsessed with Bucket as a kid when I played guitar like 6 hours a day. Good times. But yes, Buckethead is just in a different league than those guys. Not higher or lower---just different. A true composer of music. Also is discog is insane, like 80 albums or something??

You wrote this 11 years ago and only have 26 likes.. it's depressing. I am now 28 years old so this means you wrote this comment a year after Buckethead carried me through hard times when I was confused about my path in life after highschool, after helping me through my psychedelic drug phase too lol. Our man is definitely underrated but thank god he exists.

me too my friend, some of his ambient experimental stuff is not my bag but I love a shit tonne of his music, especially this one.
I wish Bucket would do more blues stuff, I LOVE the blues and music from 60-80's great rock as created in thsoe decades. Even the 90's and beyond. I like classic rock, and Bucketheads stuff. My dad told me music in the language of the planet. everybody likes music. Bukethead makes me happy when I'm sad.
If you want to check our a KILLER video of him doing a blues cover, "the thrill is gone" check it out, after that check out his wedding set. The sound quality isn't amazing but it is worth checkout, I guarantee it 100&.

his diversity is incredible , really great like you say many styles he plays and he does it with depth, unlike musicians today yeah I like his style and music, so as far as channeling past artist I don't know how I feel about that because I'm a guitar player and a purest, so I guess however you get your talent today is obviously accepted? is that why he doesn't show his face because he is using past artist styles ? really all music is from others and you improvise your style playing it, IMO'' my style is mine and if you put music to a science as far as playing by book it has no soul and is not yours if you channel'' IMO'' I would rather keep my style even if I didn't make it big at least I can say its my music and not someone elses or played by someone else, as when I was 15 I knew about channeling and I didnt do it,
