@@Hold_me_forever i relatively agree, the highest series i listened to was the 200's, but not much higher than the others, and what makes me feel that bucket is great is that the 500's now are my 2nd most listened ones means his news tracks are still sounding great just like others from 20 years. What an artist i can't appreciate him enough in this life.
@@professionnel111/ same here/ His (choice of notes) unlike anything I've ever heard in my lifetime. and I'm still discovering material from him I've never heard before. 😊
Great Jam. Puts you in a highly motivational state of mind. I love it. This guy doesn’t get enough credit for his ability to create some of the best riffs ever.
100%. As great of a guitarist as Buckethead is, I think he's even greater as a composer. He's created an incomprehensible amount of outstanding music. Nobody else even comes close.
Looks like it must have picked up a lot over the past 3 years because it's now averaging ~4500 views per year over the full 8 years. Maybe more fortunate people have been discovering Buckethead recently! 🙏
Probably my favourite of his. I only discovered Buckethead in 2019, yeah i know, where the hell have i been .....But this is just breathtakingly good from the master
9:00 - 9:23 Some of the most beautiful playing I've ever heard, out of a hardcore song too. The bend too start it off reminds me of some animal in the wilderness, like a wolf, howling at the moon. The rest of it is rhythmic emotions hitting you again and again, who would've known- too make such majestic and innovative licks like this. Beyond our world, Buckethead is more than amazing.
@@PongGodI was literally going to comment Poseidon lol been listening to that one for 3 days straight, can't get enough! Far is also pretty damn great
@@JamesJones-i2v I keep saying Poseidon parts 4-6 is the greatest rock instrumental I've ever heard. Sounds like action movie soundtrack material. Just incredible!
Kraut it is not. Even if recorded in Germany. Although I hear scorpions in bucketheads playing. It’s hard to affiliate old scorpions music with krautrock. Melody in scorpions is kinda like Boston. americas heaviest melodic band ..Heavy guitar screaming dual harmony leads, killer tone.. Yet most melody of all heavy rock bands. Especially during that time
Future news headlines will read,” Rolling Stone Top 250 Guitarist’s Ballots Found and Expose the Truth.” Investigative journalists revealed the truth today after reporters uncovered Rolling Stone staff’s original ballots and company memos had been thrown away. The information gathered reveals that guitarist Buckethead tied Hendrix for the “GOAT-VOTE,” but management debated that his playing was “too exceptional” to be humanly possible and it was not clear due to his mask-wearing whether he was potentially “alien” and/or could also be hiding a symbiote under the bucket. Buckethead was contacted and asked to submit to a blood test to prove his humanity but refused due to concerns over cloning technology. Management decided to omit him from the list to cause controversy which would result in more web and social media traffic.
The only kind of celery that I want more of.

Pike 264 Poseidon is otherworldly great, especially parts 4-6. Has to be the greatest rock instrumental composition I've ever heard.
Rising Sun, Flare, Coupon, Brewer in the Air and Animal Behavior (live in Warsaw) are fantastic!
@@PongGod i agree, but i have to say i like oneiric pool more :)
Buckethead: GOAT💯
And MAB
after 13:30 it picks up even more with that same 4 note progression he uses and repeats, but never gets old, it builds on itself, truly fantastic!
Those four notes man…. Impactful
I could listen to it constantly.

I’m 8 years late but still sound beautiful ❤
Much like a wizard, a Buckethead fan is never late. He arrives precisely when he is meant to.
Only 1K views on average per year??! Come on! 500 of those were me alone!
The little amount of views these get boggles my mind

very well said
I drive and I see animation in my head of his playing,
This one flows so well. Addictive.
I used to think Soothsayer is the best song ever.
This one made me reconsider.
Soothsayer is a great song, but IMO it's not even top 50.
Im back round again , just as good !
Me too. Just can't stop ayyy

Best song so far since pike 1
Unsure why this doesn't have millions of views..
Sounds pessimistic but the majority of people out there don't have souls. Something like WAP is what they identify with and consider great music.
