Magneta Cyan you’re an idiot lol. I see you’re a Megadeth and Metallica fan. Those bands have examples of “good” guitarists. They however could never come close to the versatility or skill of Buckethead, anything else is denying pure evidence.
I'm usually struggling against intrusive thoughts and severe depression, listening to Buckethead music is what keeps me calm and allows me to focus in good things instead of overthinking about what I can't change. Thank you so much Big B, when I think about killing myself I listen to you and it immediately cheers me up.
I recently came across Buckethead. OMG. All I have been doing in my spare time is listening to this phenomenal musician and composer. At 65 I've been into rock all my life. In my opinion this blows away Beck, Johnson, Satriani and some others as well. WOW.

This is what gives Buckethead the absolute edge over all other Guitar Heroes. His discography is filled to the brim with songs. Always written from the heart. He could spend all his time charting out as many ridiculous solos as possible like Steve Vai does but he's interested in giving listeners tunes and melodies and emotions that they will feel and remember and enjoy way longer. Best usage of being on the top of Music Mountain I can possibly think of. Beethoven was the same way. He didn't have the same quantity of music as Schubert or Mozart but all his music was handcrafted with intense care and love for the art. And no he didn't just make his musicians show off, nor did he write for that purpose.... Simple and slow Beethoven had as much powerful as his presto symphony pieces
Bucketheads songs help put me to sleep when i have sleeping problems, They put me to sleep in a good way though, Im not calling them boring, They are masterpieces.
i cant beleive hes not anywhere on the radio...he has whole albums in just about every genre of music and he is the greatest guitar ever...like ever but yet ive never heard a song from him
Buckethead continues to blow me away, I got this cd yesterday (had to order it since no place around here had it). I have to admit even though this song is not insanely difficult to play (unlike a lot of his other music), it is a great song. I find myself very addicted to it.
Great song.Iconic.The footage for this particular video is fantastic.Lots of different outfits and guitars throughout the years.Always gorgeous.Even chalk outline
Buckethead is a pure GENIUS! Is there anything he cannot play? For real though this mans music will be played forever and he will become a legend for those who do not already see him as one. LONG LIVE BUCKETHEAD!!!!
Every day I listen to that one. Creating such a powerful and deep music for a player is just unbelievable, and it goes to show the artist can do whatever he wants! He's a free soul!!!
@99jibster What blows about it? I will ask this question because I'm curious about what could possibly blow about this song. It's technically advanced, dwells with a righteous melody, and doesn't have to be held back by the borders of common mainstream rock. It is experimental, progressive, multi-emotional, and beats the shit out of just about anything else I've heard.
well have you been to one of his shows? There was some silliness in the middle, but for me the show was one of the most cerebral experiences of my life. That goes both for Buckethead and Frankenstein Brothers (his jam band) shows. It's everything people said about Jimi Hendrix, really.
where did you hear that? This is totally dedicated to Lebron. All three of the songs Big B wrote for Lebron were released for his last birthday as a free download on his site. This was one of them
There is also this from wikipedia: "Jumpman" was the original name used for Mario in the 1981 arcade game Donkey Kong, which featured several elements (such as the ladders and levels aspects) that would appear in Jumpman."
@deterravonsims YOUR A MADMAN!!!, the average person lacks the mental capacity to listen to Buckethead. His songs are actually too amazing to be played on the radio, it would kill millions of people.
@Northernmight its a killswitch like meatijo said try watching a live verson of the song, he uses a killswitch like for most of the song jordan which has similar effect, watch that live too with the solo its great.
@PGuitar265 He's doing something of a so higher level that most of people cannot really understand some of his guitar riffs ! That guy is genial ! I discovered him very recently ! It was something that was missing to my culture ... Viva PFK !!!
What effect does he use for his high pitch part in the beginning and throughout? This song is so easy to play, but god...Only...'Bucketgod' can make that sound I swear hehehe
@anewillss no, buckethead is just so diffrence in his styles and forensic follies and needle in a slunk stack is just that type of music you don't like
I just got a phone and could hold one song so i had this, and i went on holiday for 2 weeks and it was my only source of entertainment so i listened to it everyday. i hated it so much afterwards btu no ive re-discovered it :D
@Izabella739 Buckethead has written over 300 songs, over 30 albums. Many styles, too, he's not one dimensional at all. For laid back, ethereal guitar I recommend the Colma or Electric Tears albums, try the other albums for more uptempo/ speed stuff. His most popular tunes are generally Jordan/ Soothsayer/ Nottingham Lace. I like 'em all!
@hotrod9983 lebron jame's nickname is king james buckethead also has a song named "lebron" and a song named jordan after michael jordan hes a pretty big basketball fan
Bucket is a NBA fan and this song is titled after Lebron James. Believe it or not that is the truth. He has also titled songs for Blake Griffen(crack the sky) and for Micheal Jordan (Jordan)
Buckethead is the most unique guitarist that ever walked the earth, there are million things that makes him best ever!
Hes not that good. Mediocre at best.
@@magnetacyan5032 content he released in the last 7 years even further solidified his legacy to be considered the best of all time 😊

if a musician/artist can connect to u emotionally and never have to say a word.... there goes a truly divine being. Buckethead is one of those people.
The only problem with Buckethead, is that he is so prolific and releases such awesome material that there is not enough time to ever listen to it all!
Commented 14 years ago... check his discography now... over 500 solo albums \m/
