I've spent almost 100 hours in Dragon Quest XI and Breath of the Wild. Most played game so far is no other than Animal Crossing, it helped me a lot to get in touch with my friends via the game. Now my wife is addicted to it! Cheers from Brazil!

First: no need to apologize for playing games. I'm pretty sure anyone watching your channel is likely to also enjoy games (ha), so chances are we're in a similar boat. Heck, without even checking, I can tell you I probably have a few thousand hours total into just the various Picross games that I own. Picross is my go to semi-mindless chillout game, and has been for years. I've also recently started a new save file on Breath of the Wild, and combined with my old file, have almost 400 hours into that. Add another 300ish for Pokemon Arceus, a few hundred for Skyrim (on Switch alone, not even counting PC and PSVR versions), 100 or so for Tetris Effect, same for Soundfall, and, well... you get the idea. As someone dealing with chronic, largely untreatable pain and a (very) slowly progressing terminal illness, gaming is a great distraction/escape. Especially the more "cozy" games out there. Which brings me back to why I love your content.... you help me find even more games to enjoy/distract/escape to, which is much appreciated indeed. Thank you, and definitely keep doing what you're doing! It makes a difference.
I was shocked by your Stardew Hours - SHOCKED 😂 I had three switches for awhile so my animal crossing and stardew hours in particular are really hard to track, especially since I sold two of the switches to buy an OLED 🤦🏻♀️ Animal crossing would be over 1500, Stardew around the same, Hollow Knight around 300 (forever trying to pass the third bloody trial), Pokémon Games all around 100 hours - I often replay them if I run out of things I want to play. I reckon I clocked about 50 hours in Graveyard Keeper and I’m about 25 hours into Ender Lilies now (incredible game). About the same with Cozy Grove which I started at the same time. 😬

I don't get why someone should be ashamed of time played. I personally always enjoy seeing big numbers even for myself. I always loved when time playing is shown. Glad it's up on ps5 and xbox. The switch isnt really reliable to show the actual playtime, we could even see that in your video with below shown actual playtime.

Yet in Shining Pearl I was compelled to have all of the very best underground statues, which is definitely far less important and also harder.

The KING OF SWITCH GAMES is Animal Crossing though, imo. I didn't sleep for days when it launched, going to islands and buying things from the Able Sisters while catching tarantulas from islands.
QUASSONNE! I'm only a completionist if I enjoy the game, and don't have to fork out too many dollarydoos to be ABLE to complete the game to 100%. But I WILL buy all the DLC for a game I love, or if it's cheap... That being said, I only have 6 games for my Switch atm, but I've only had it for about 2 months. My most played is ACNH at 365 hours, #2 is Pokémon Sword at 170 hours, #3 is Thief Simulator at 85 hours, #4 is Crush Crush at 20 hours (564 on Steam lol), #5 is Train Station Renovation at 10 hours (and likely to stay there), and #6 is This War Of Mine at 4 hours.
You should look into the game Firewatch on Switch. You are a guy that gets a job as a firewatch in Shoshone National Forest (in Wyoming here in the US). It really is a great game. You get to listen to the conversation between the main character and Delilah. She is his supervisor (technically) and also the firewatch for the tower close to yours. There is a mystery that you have to discover after some dangerous things happen. Another great game is Gone Home. You are a girl that came home after a year traveling abroad, only to find your home empty, and your family no where to be found. You gotta explore the huge house to see what happened to everyone. It's a fantastic game if you love snooping in peoples houses LOL. You can pick up, and inspect practically everything. The house does have a creepy air to it, mostly due to it being dark and a very old house. It's a lot of fun though. Fairly short (2 or 3 hours) but a lot of fun.

I noticed that if i started into several games when they first come out and i come bk to them way later I do better with them plus I put on way more hrs than I started with and rarely have I completed more than 3 of my games in my library but I make it a goal to do more everytime
Kirby was probably the only game that I've managed to fully complete on Switch. It took me about 40hrs to 100% but I agree that the game was really short for those that weren't up to getting all the stars for every level. Great game regardless of playstyle though
I have been a PC gamer for many years and only got a switch a couple of weeks ago, so it is all a big discovery for me. I have been putting some time in on Stardew Valley and Paradise Island, but plan to get Animal Crossing soon. The PC games i played lately were Assassin's Creed Odyssey (I have Valhalla lined up to go next), Valheim, Generation Zero, Fallout 4 and No Mans Sky. So many games to play and so few hours in the day argh! Oisscrant!!

I get sick really easily so go in and out of hospital a lot, I tend to pass the time by playing my switch usually every visit I make. I currently have a switch lite (that I recently gave to my SO), a v1 switch, and a v2 Animal Crossing switch. To clarify the order of my consoles.... My first switch was the v1 (It caught on fire) so I got a switch lite (didn't like it and give it away) then I bought myself the v2 Animal Crossing switch which is the only one I use now. My most played games are: Animal Crossing- at 10000 hours combined across all three consoles, Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix- at 500 hours on 2 of my consoles, Fortnite- at 200+ hours on 2 of my consoles (Please don't judge. I play it with my disabled nephew - he loves it and I like making him happy), Hades- at 400 hours (because I love torturing myself), Pokemon Let's go Eevee- at 400 hours, Mario Kart 8 deluxe- at 200 hours, and lastly... Pokemon Sword- at 750 hours (I played that so much just so I could get an army of my favorite Pokemon ~Leafeon). So in total- my top 7 most played games equal out to 12,950 hours... Which is 1.477 years.

So for my Switch it’s Animal Crossing (890 hours), Breath of the Wild (350 hours), PL Arceus (85 hours), and then I finally decided to try Stardew Valley about 3 months ago, chose to play on the Switch first because it’s what I play on the most rn, and I’ve somehow racked up over 210 hours already, including an impossible seeming 65 hours in the first 10 days. So I also have a problem.
Quasont... The game I've played the most is ACNH. I had over 1,000 hours on my old switch. Havent checked the time on my new switch. The next game is Mortal Kombat 11, then Pokemon Arceus which I need to finish.
If you have multiple switches... you time in you new switch basically has to catch up to your old switch before the time starts going up. At least that’s how it felt when I got my oled
Most played hours on the switch is botw 205. Most played hours of anything is probably swtor. Started in 2016 and still play it once in while. Thankfully it doesn't tell me how many hours😊

Skyrim is number one on the list for me I couldn't tell you how long I played it because I don't even know lol. But beat the game almost every side quest on multiple systems a phenomenal game start to finish

Nor really a completionist, only when it suits me, Horizon Zero Dawn, platinumed, Breath of the Wild finished the story but couldn't imagine the monotony of finding all those korok (spelling???) seeds. Stardew valley I've got 400+ hours across 4 farms, none of them complete. Some games fill a specific lull between others so they never get finished. So no, definitely not a completionist, I like the exploring and finding of areas and secrets, but generally I don't need every single Easter egg to fill satisfied with a game.

Kinda late, but sometimes play activity data for a game resets itself if you haven't played it for a while. That's prob why your Mario Kart hours were so low.
i don't know why, but I can't seem to get myself into Animal Crossing. I have a love for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Prob one of my most spent hours on. Somewhere around 250 hours I believe due to me pllaying some on my switch and most on my pc.
So longest ever is 2038 hours in the sims 4. To be fair it did come out in 2014 and I was pregnant and just married at the time and now that child is almost 8 and going into 2nd grade. Longest hours for me on the switch are fire emblem 3 hopes. First time playing any fire emblem or warriors game. I got like 140 hours in it and it just came out. I've been in an depression episode that has caused insomnia so gaming has helped. Next is about 65 in Pokemon shield and about 50 in pearl. About 30 in pikachu. I only have about 55 in animal crossing but I don't think that one is completely accurate. I would say it's closer to the 100 mark as I also played on our switch lite for a bit. I've got about 30 hours in SOS friends of mineral town. 20 hours in cozy grove. Only 10 in Stardew. 15 in a game called Arcadia fallen. It's a fun one. I also have about 15 hours in each of the mainstream Mario games and Luigi haunted mansion.

I think I finished kirby at 70-80% it kinda gets repetitive after that and the game had a nice finish so I didn't rly see the point in continuing it was great while it lasted tho

Hum, completionist, somewhat it depend. I like collecting things, or getting all the stars, not to much for skill stuff or timed. This episode maid me curious. Now I've only had my switch lite for about 9 months. My top 3 and the only games that came in at more than 100 hours are gems of war at 110, don't starve together at 155 and animal crossing new horizon at a whooping 540.

Kwhatsont! My most played game (after Animal Crossing) is Warframe for some reason. It was very impressing technically, I crafted 18 characters and then I gave up because I could only play with randoms and that was sad. My third game oh-ho-ho I love so so much! Monster Hunter Rise (and now Sunbreak). Me and my brother play almost every evening and I believe this is going to overtake Warframe very soon.
@@Eeowna It is very fun but you have to walk into it with the right mindset. First, it's not a hack n slash. It's more of a attack-dodge-attack kind of game. Kind of like Dark Souls but not as brutal and with a lot more movement options. Secondly, there are 14 weapons in the game and they all play VERY differently. Think of it like every weapon is it's own class.
Honestly, Monster Hunter is just a cozy farming game where you also hit monsters with sharp sticks. I have spent countless hours just simply fishing and gathering in Rise because its relaxing and I need the materials. Warframe too. My orbiter is full of floofs I got from animal conservation.

I have been a PC gamer for many years and only got a switch a couple of weeks ago, so it is all a big discovery for me. I have been putting some time in on Stardew Valley and Paradise Island, but plan to get Animal Crossing soon. The PC games i played lately were Assassin's Creed Odyssey (I have Valhalla lined up to go next), Valheim, Generation Zero, Fallout 4 and No Mans Sky. So many games to play and so few hours in the day argh! Oisscrant!!

I'm not a completionist yet I 100% Kirby because I was having so much fun with it. Even so, I STILL think it could have been longer.

I liked pokemon arceaus! Its 90% studying and searching for pokemon (you hardly battle trainers)
The most I’ve put in is Skyrim on switch, but I’ve been playing Minecraft and stardew valley a lot
I literally have to get every collectible in a level on my 1st playthrough and if I don't I need to replay it to get them before moving on lol
I get sick really easily so go in and out of hospital a lot, I tend to pass the time by playing my switch usually every visit I make. I currently have a switch lite (that I recently gave to my SO), a v1 switch, and a v2 Animal Crossing switch. To clarify the order of my consoles.... My first switch was the v1 (It caught on fire) so I got a switch lite (didn't like it and give it away) then I bought myself the v2 Animal Crossing switch which is the only one I use now.
My most played games are: Animal Crossing- at 10000 hours combined across all three consoles, Hatsune Miku Project Diva Mega Mix- at 500 hours on 2 of my consoles, Fortnite- at 200+ hours on 2 of my consoles (Please don't judge. I play it with my disabled nephew - he loves it and I like making him happy), Hades- at 400 hours (because I love torturing myself), Pokemon Let's go Eevee- at 400 hours, Mario Kart 8 deluxe- at 200 hours, and lastly... Pokemon Sword- at 750 hours (I played that so much just so I could get an army of my favorite Pokemon ~Leafeon).
So in total- my top 7 most played games equal out to 12,950 hours... Which is 1.477 years.
Kwasssaaannn. So for my Switch it’s Animal Crossing (890 hours), Breath of the Wild (350 hours), PL Arceus (85 hours), and then I finally decided to try Stardew Valley about 3 months ago, chose to play on the Switch first because it’s what I play on the most rn, and I’ve somehow racked up over 210 hours already, including an impossible seeming 65 hours in the first 10 days. So I also have a problem.
Quasont... The game I've played the most is ACNH. I had over 1,000 hours on my old switch. Havent checked the time on my new switch. The next game is Mortal Kombat 11, then Pokemon Arceus which I need to finish.

If you have multiple switches... you time in you new switch basically has to catch up to your old switch before the time starts going up. At least that’s how it felt when I got my oled

Most played hours on the switch is botw 205. Most played hours of anything is probably swtor. Started in 2016 and still play it once in while. Thankfully it doesn't tell me how many hours😊

Skyrim is number one on the list for me I couldn't tell you how long I played it because I don't even know lol. But beat the game almost every side quest on multiple systems a phenomenal game start to finish

Nor really a completionist, only when it suits me, Horizon Zero Dawn, platinumed, Breath of the Wild finished the story but couldn't imagine the monotony of finding all those korok (spelling???) seeds. Stardew valley I've got 400+ hours across 4 farms, none of them complete. Some games fill a specific lull between others so they never get finished. So no, definitely not a completionist, I like the exploring and finding of areas and secrets, but generally I don't need every single Easter egg to fill satisfied with a game.

Have you played Mario Odyssey or Yoshi 's wolly world? I really enjoyed those when I first got my switch.
I am like you, I am not a 100% completionist. I prefer to play a game until the credits roll and then revisit if I liked it enough.

Ahh too bad you didn’t like Pioneers of Olive Town so much. I got over 70 hours on that one and I still pick it up every now and then. It’s the ‘upgrading’ crops quality and all the different farm animals for me. 🤓

Kinda late, but sometimes play activity data for a game resets itself if you haven't played it for a while. That's prob why your Mario Kart hours were so low.

i don't know why, but I can't seem to get myself into Animal Crossing. I have a love for Disney Dreamlight Valley. Prob one of my most spent hours on. Somewhere around 250 hours I believe due to me pllaying some on my switch and most on my pc.

So longest ever is 2038 hours in the sims 4. To be fair it did come out in 2014 and I was pregnant and just married at the time and now that child is almost 8 and going into 2nd grade. Longest hours for me on the switch are fire emblem 3 hopes. First time playing any fire emblem or warriors game. I got like 140 hours in it and it just came out. I've been in an depression episode that has caused insomnia so gaming has helped. Next is about 65 in Pokemon shield and about 50 in pearl. About 30 in pikachu. I only have about 55 in animal crossing but I don't think that one is completely accurate. I would say it's closer to the 100 mark as I also played on our switch lite for a bit. I've got about 30 hours in SOS friends of mineral town. 20 hours in cozy grove. Only 10 in Stardew. 15 in a game called Arcadia fallen. It's a fun one. I also have about 15 hours in each of the mainstream Mario games and Luigi haunted mansion.

I think I finished kirby at 70-80% it kinda gets repetitive after that and the game had a nice finish so I didn't rly see the point in continuing it was great while it lasted tho

Hum, completionist, somewhat it depend. I like collecting things, or getting all the stars, not to much for skill stuff or timed.
This episode maid me curious. Now I've only had my switch lite for about 9 months. My top 3 and the only games that came in at more than 100 hours are gems of war at 110, don't starve together at 155 and animal crossing new horizon at a whooping 540.

My most played game (after Animal Crossing) is Warframe for some reason. It was very impressing technically, I crafted 18 characters and then I gave up because I could only play with randoms and that was sad.
My third game oh-ho-ho I love so so much! Monster Hunter Rise (and now Sunbreak). Me and my brother play almost every evening and I believe this is going to overtake Warframe very soon.

@@Eeowna It is very fun but you have to walk into it with the right mindset.
First, it's not a hack n slash. It's more of a attack-dodge-attack kind of game. Kind of like Dark Souls but not as brutal and with a lot more movement options.
Secondly, there are 14 weapons in the game and they all play VERY differently. Think of it like every weapon is it's own class.
Honestly, Monster Hunter is just a cozy farming game where you also hit monsters with sharp sticks. I have spent countless hours just simply fishing and gathering in Rise because its relaxing and I need the materials. Warframe too. My orbiter is full of floofs I got from animal conservation.

It depends on the game if I am going to be a completionist or not. Rogue Legacy and Super Mario Galaxy.... I am a completionist, every other game... no. You mentioned Breath of the Wild 2 but I don't recall seeing the first one in this video, what are your hours on that?

I have like 2000 or more hours in rocket league, my next most played game is breath of the wild at 105 but I also have another 250 hours on rocket league on pc so wow, 2250 total
