So far this is my favorite bourbon video. Just getting out there and talking to different people, hearing different takes on bourbon. The event looked like a blast with nothing but good vibes
Absolutely loved this video. Whiskey brings people together and makes memories. That gentleman knows the bartering system... Love it ! Need more people like guy at spillway and that type of generosity. It will come back to him 10 folds I promise you that !
Love your content, I appreciate the fact that you try to take care of your local distilleries and seem to genuinely be proud of where you come from. The style of videos you produce are much more appealing to me than the people that set up in a bar at their house and spew out as many different adjectives as they can. I like that you give a lot of liquor stores publicity and seem like a down to earth person who comes off as someone that knows he is blessed to be doing what he is doing. Great stuff, hope you do a lot of plugs for spillway since they were so generous.
Of the scotch you saw. That Bowmore 15 is my favorite of the Islay scotches (peated scotch). The sherry finish really mellows out that smokey flavor. I always have a bottle in my house.
Well played! You deserve all that for being so genuine and easy going with all the folks there. Can't wait to see the show on what is in that back seat of your truck!
I do love your Bourbon hunting and Lottery drawing choices! Sounds like so much fun! A Bourbon lover's super day of fun! Thanks for putting this together and Jill is cute!!

Thanks for sharing and may God bless the farmers, distillers, cellar masters, tasters, bottlers and distribution folks who make this magic elixir possible.

This is where I’m from! That’s my old liquor store! On the day to day, the folks at Spillway are fantastic and are as equally helpful as they are in this video. They always have free samples of interesting things to try and keep a great stock. Highly recommend if you’re ever in Brandon, MS!
I’m only 43 min in and love this episode! Gonna finish the rest right now. Bro, you’ve become my favorite TH-camr of all the TH-cam! Just turned on my notification bell!

I’m sure the people at the event saw that. I appreciate your content. Not trying to be negative. Get your blood work done bro. I want to see your content for years.
Since starting to watch your channel about a week ago I grabbed my first 2 Bourbons on Wednesday: Buffalo Trace - $40 Old Forrester 1920 - $60 The OF is great, very strong and a bit hot but I love it. The Buffalo is alright but a bit sweet for me. Love the content, I’ve binge watched nearly every video you have. Keep up the great work!
I highly suggest giving Teeling Small Batch a sip (or any of the Teeling line). It's one of the bottles I use when I introduce people to Irish Whiskey.
This is JD and Renee Ledbetter. Thanks for the special reserve you got to Mike C for us. It was real good! Welled 12 one of my favorites. If you haven’t had Widow Jane The vaults 14 year, I have had 2 bottles and it was excellent! Thanks again for the awesome channel.
I’m sure you think you are helping this store with these posts but I promise you locals see this stuff and it puts a bad taste in their mouths. People who live here have to wait in line and do lotteries to get gouged. People actually waited in line and jumped through hoops to buy Weller Full Proof at $149 and Blantons at $99 while you walked away with a car full of free bourbon.
Brewzle is why I got my first bourbon bottle. Only a Elijah Graig small batch, because it was easy to get and pretty cheap (they go for 55ish euros here in Finland) and now i'm just more and more curious about bourbon.
We have nothing like this in Canada 🇨🇦. Fawk we are missing out. I really enjoyed the content and spillways hospitality toward you. That’s how you stir up ppl into the hobby of enjoying fine spirits. Well done.
Thanks for getting me into whiskey. I've always steered clear of hard liquor, was mainly a beer person just to get drunk as I associated hard liquor with mixed drinks. Watching your vids made me interested enough to start and I've already picked up two bottles and am loving the journey. Keep the vids coming!
Y’all always keep my glued to the screen. I’m 45 and a beer drinker, but as I’ve been watching your videos it has turned me into a whiskey/ bourbon person. I believe Wilderness Trail, IJW and Luca distilleries are all in that area and do you have any experience with any of them. Thanks for all the great information!!
TJ most Russell's reserve picks are between 8-10 years old. The warehouse is more important than the age IMO. Based on the floor and year, thats likely a Tyrone F warehouse.
