    Great video demonstration. I find myself in a quandary when I watch these product reviews. I’m a DIYer who watches these videos because I enjoy seeing messes turned into masterpieces and to learn how to get the best, easiest to use, and most long-lasting and economical products amongst a sea of brands. It seems like I no sooner discover the “best” and a week or two later a new one pops up! I realize that these products provide channels with new content, so I get it. This my own “problem “, per se! 😂👍

    Another awesome video bro haven’t used this product yet. There really isn’t a bad product from Gyeon just ordered there new interior detailer . Although if your testing goes well and holds up I will add it to the collection. Never really big on glass sealants or coatings, cause I’m always topping them with a detail spray or a spray and rinse product like Gyeon wet coat.

    I really like Gyeon products. Have purchased a few things and it was sweet. The only thing was Gyeon is a tiny bit pricey. Hey.....let me encourage you to put up a bigger building. Good video. Do you think this is still worth it with all the spray on, wipe off coatings out there now? Like the Gyeon Can Coat and Turtle Wax Graphene Flex Wax, you could just do the whole car with them. I don't know about the differences in optical properties-maybe the glass sealants are designed with that in mind.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks! I would stick with glass specific products are they are interested for glass only. Glass is very porous and typical waxes/sealants may not bond properly

    This GYEON Quick View is the easiest glass sealant I have ever used. In the rain however it does give a little "jutter" or "squeak" on the down stroke if you are below 40MPH and you need to actually use your wipers. At least it does that on my 370Z. The hydrophobics are excellent though, and ease of application and removal are fantastic. It is still one of the best glass sealants out there for the beginner or weekend warrior. The nice part about it is that it is so easy to use, you can just reapply or "top" it every few washes and you'll be good to go again. You can easily do your entire car in about 15 minutes once you have done it a few times. It reminds me a lot of Soft 99 GLACO which is a very similar product with the same type of felt applicator.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing

    Gyeon say it's 30mL consumption per car.
    Do you think you could stretch this product by loading this product onto the windscreen with an X or Z shape and then going over it with a ceramic coating applicator block?
    I'm think that could be possible as it seems like you use a lot of unnecessary product doing the wax on/wax off method that Gyeon recommend. Interested to hear your thoughts.

    according to the Gyeon US brand manager, you should leave it on for at least 20-25mins, 5mins will work, but longer is better. Also, you don't need to squeeze the bottle to get the product out.

    • @adamcoe

      Came here to say the same...that's very impressive, but for the price point it's not even close. Gyeon stuff works great but it seems like (of the products I've seen anyway) it's just for folks who want to pay more. I've had Griot's Glass Sealant on 3 different vehicles, and even on my truck that gets parked outside every day, the windshield protection is only now just failing after 7 months. Griot's is like 15 bucks a bottle (or less) and you can cover 7 or 8 vehicles in their entirety (or 10 or 11 windshields) and is just as effective, vs 45 bucks and you can do just one vehicle for a year. Gyeon works fabulous but so far in every category I've experienced, there is a product as good or better for less cash.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@adamcoe Griots is really good stuff and I love it also. This Gyeon product will probably do 10 complete vehicles if not more. You use very little with the felt applicator and I like that you don’t have to pour it out of the bottle which wastes product in the end. Either way you go both work excellent.

  • @kevinfitzpatrick2556

    I have used this on 4 cars now. The bottle design is not great as I had to return 2 bottles for leaking. I have had better success with a 10 minute cure time. I am on about 2 months and this sealant is still going strong. You definitely have to squeeze the bottle to get the product started on the glass. Their tire dressing is also really good.

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  3 ปีที่แล้ว
