I was blown away with how much was included on this release... a fully articulated mouser, the baby turtles, the ooze, the rat that evolved splinter, along with 4 sets of hands, stick, tea pot and a Utrom (Kraang?) just for giggles.. easily the best value I've ever seen from this line.
Only thing that could of been better is if they would of packed in the extra brown robe so you had options to display him. Other wise very excited to find Splinter hopefully soon
After the whole blue Renet hassle I'm done with alt colors, if they want to release Casey and Splinter in their correct colors go ahead. I'm not buying those figures twice now.
It is interesting to me you say that Splinter was originally colorized as having brown clothing. I only have the black and white version of the mirage comics, but I remember on the cover for the preteen issue 'The Passing' Splinter had a white robe with a red obi. And in volume 2- which was colored from the start instead of being originally black and white- he had a red/mahogany kimono with white trimmings. Would it be in the first comics graphic novels that it was colored brown or something else? Either way it does bother me a bit that the kimono doesn't match either the cover or Volume 2. Personally I would like it best for it to be as it was in volume 2. I really like the baby turtles in this- they look so cute! I also like the utrom. Also I appreciate the mouser too, it seems the most accurate and has better articulation. Wonder if they would ever release a pack of multiple mousers? Because I would definitely be interested in that personally. Mousers are adorable even if though they tried to kill Splinter lol.
Will it hit Canada tho? Have any of the other mirage figures hit Canada? Not that I can remember. But then again I think these are the first general release figures they've done for this line.
IDW colouring. The brown robe was the colouring from the original First Comics graphic novel, and is the one that is generally wanted/preferred. NECA loves money, so did the colour variant first.
@@seeker2182 It hasn't, but given what they did with Renet last year (releasing the variant first, then the blue one), I'd wager good money on them repeating it again this year.

It was always TCRI. It stands for Techno Cosmo Research Institute. To my knowledge the only thing that had it TGRI was the second live action film. TCRI was how it was in the original Mirage comics which is what this figure is based on, so it would make no sense for it to be TGRI instead.

Nice to see they updated the mouser figure. The original Mirage one only had basic hip rotation, the ones that came with April added opening jaws.

Hopefully after a few months damaged shredder, the turtles 4 pack and splinter all hit onlines stores like bbts. Just like the zog figure.
