If you can afford them at STORE price... or "justify" affording them lol good luck finding them. I saw a set and the price made me hesitate. Shoulda bit the bullet, sure enough they were gone when I decided I had to get them.

Since we are talking about the Mirage TMNT, There was a TMNT tv movie from the 2003 TMNT cartoon who brought the 1980s cartoon Turtles and they also brought in the Mirage Turtles while showing other TMNT Turtle media and the Mirage Turtles made some jokes about the 80s cartoon Turtles including the color bandannas and belt logos they wear.
Got so lucky getting these at Target the other day. The art cover reminds me so much of the Nintendo Gameboy art cover for the first TMNT game. Tons of nostalgia! 🤓
This is A great set of TMNT figures, but it’s not MY set of TMNT figures if that makes any sense. If we’re sticking within the realm of Mirage, I think the 2008 Neca Mirage figures are MUCH better and more iconic since they’re such a definitive interpretation of that OG Eastman and Laird Mirage artwork And as far as my subjective and personal preference goes, I think the super-accurate Neca cartoon turtles are pretty much my perfect set of TMNT figures
I was lucky. My Target had 4 of these. When I went back there was only 1 left. Once I got the set, I heated the entire set in hot water to loosen up the joints.
Honestly, with SDCC right around the corner I’d wait to see if there gonna do another cartoon TMnT box set. Usually they’ve been doing one a year. So def wait to see what they are presenting and then go from there.
If/when they do another toon brothers pack, I'd be nice if they gave us the intro or that initial miniseries looking heads...with a painted line right down the middle of their beaks.
These were so hard to find near me I went to about 12 targets and couldn’t get it. Has NECA said if these would be released any other way? I don’t want to buy from scalpers if I can avoid it. I don’t know why they won’t give any other info on this set.
They have not said officially just yet. Will know more at SDCC. If they are like other Mirage figures, eventually they should see release elsewhere. Don’t go to eBay yet. Will post as soon as I have definite deets.

One of my favorite lines to look at. I don't buy any of them. But neca did a pretty fantastic job on this set. Very fartworthy 😛🍿

I asked NECA about this, they confirmed they are coming, just haven't figured out the timetable yet. But they are on their way.
