Wish I would have seen your video about a week ago ! Just ran all my lines through the kick panel on my 67 Chevelle from Vintage Air . The EZ clip looks awesome ! 😎
Excellent video. I am kicking myselft for buying a vintage air kit with the beadlock connectors. I spent $150 on a beadlock crimping tool and after all that I found out about the E-Z clip system. You would think that Vintage Air would have suggested it when I bought my system. I am going to use E-z clip on my next system now that I know better.
Loved the video. I went immediately to your website and looked up the products. Holy shit! $600 for the hoses and clips. Then $76 for the pliers. I could buy four hydraulic crimpers for the same money.
The EZ clip hose kit is $360, with the pliers.that’s $436. The Hydra Crimp Kit Portable hand held hydraulic crimper is $579 plus the beadlock hose kit is $115. A shop owner this week told me that he has no leaks with EZ clips,, so he doesn’t ever use the barrier hose any more.
Thanks Rex! Do you have any tips for adapting to custom fittings? I've got a Subaru compressor that I need to adapt to an existing VW ac system. I think the malemale fittings will work, but I may need to braze on a EZClip fitting?
#8 barrier hose and #8 reduced barrier hose has the same ID, however the OD is different. Both hoses take different fittings. RB is a little more flexible. Hope this helps.

Great video, I was trying to figure out how EZ clip works, and you've made it clear! I'll probably be buying from you.

Great video, thank you!
Why did I not see this video before I bought those hoses needing the crimping! I wish I can return my hoses to Vintage air!
Great video! What if you just want to cut AC line repair and join hose do you have to use a fitting?

Sorry, we don't have much info on that, everything we do is with Vintage Air so we don't have to custom make any fittings.
@@affordablestreetrods I was able to make it work using a male to male crimp on hose fittings with the stock subaru connections. Worked great. Thanks!
Thank you .Great job....
Thanks for watching!
Just subscribed and thanx for the video. May be crazy question but what is the difference between #8 and #8 reduced barrier.

great video, thanks
Looking to do a complete build of an a/c system on my Duster . Have you had any issues with this system with leaking or hose leaching ?
We've got more than 100 customers using them so far with 0 complaints. - Travis
He's too Cool.
Good vid...thanks for sharing : )
That type of hose would continuously withstand up to 500 psi?
This E-Z clip hose will handle that psi. It really depends on what type of material you are running through the hose.
What is the part number for those pliers?
420000-VUR and you can find them on our site here: www.affordablestreetrods.com/e-z-clip-connecting-pliers-420000-vur.html
