Once you marked, why not remove the line, do the crimping on the bench or in a vise?? I think i've seen others do it that way, unless i'm missing something here

Why do the vintage air kits not “ allow you to bring the hose to them “. I’m confused. Don’t you buy the kit and make the lines and then simply install them ? What am I missing ?
