Great video, but I want to point out that you downplayed the difficulty of getting the wires across the center console and through the firewall. lol Got it done, thanks for the great instructions
Followed the video step by step exactly. Nothing works at all except the power adjustment like my factory mirrors. The mirrors are Sanooer from Amazon… Could this be the reason they don’t work with this harness?
It's possible that the mirrors you ordered are defective, we see that often with the cheap knockoffs. Give our team a call at 765-831-2830 and we will do our best to assist you.
I have a 2018 silverado and followed this video step by step everything works except my reverse lights Will I be able to using the blue wire that’s pushed through the fire wall and instead of tapping into the one shown in the video can I tap into the reverse lamps fuse will this make them work or is there something different I can tap into with the white wires that’s tapped into the passenger side
Please reach out to our support team at support@boostautoparts.com for guidance. Our support team is standing by ready to assist. You can also call them at 765-831-2830
For some reason the amber light on the back of the mirror turns on when running lights are on but doesn’t flash with the blinker did I wire something backwards Truck is a 1500 with blinkers on the mirrors originally
If the mirrors are OEM or from us something is wired wrong. If the mirrors are other aftermarket mirrors, we have seen many of them wired wrong causing this. Regardless, reach out to our support team at 765-831-2830 or email support@boostautoparts.com and our team will assist.
Yes - you can hook it to TRLR B/U fuse in underhood. Alternatively, you can hook it up to cargo then use our cargo/reverse mod. This would have it working automatically with reverse but also be able to manually be commanded on with cargo.
So if I have a 5/14 build 2015 with turn signals on glass, I need to connect the first of the two clips shown on your harness and not worry about the red/yellow wire that taps into the brown and black connectors, correct?
Followed the video step by step when wiring in my mirrors. Now that everything is done, when the headlights are on, the turn signals on the mirrors aren’t in sync with the truck, but when head lights are off, they are in sync. Is this supposed to be like this or did I make a mistake somewhere?
This is likely indicative of mirrors that are wired wrong. If the mirrors are from us please reach out to support@boostautoparts.com so we can further diagnose and get this resolved ASAP.
The hardwire method is a bit easier to do for 2014 & early 2015 trucks, however the RZY + Modify is a bit of a cleaner install. It comes down to whether you value ease of install or professionalism of install more.
Did the step by step of this video but the signal light on the back of the mirror doesn’t go on but the signal light on the actual mirror does work. Any idea on why this is happening? I have a 2015 Silverado LT
@@BlackBailey818 the issue is based on the way the mirrors are wired. You would need to reach out to the mirror manufacturer for a resolution. Our mirrors would not have this issue.

Thank you for video ! Didn’t know fuse panel was located there.
Glad it helped!

Since the cargo light does not work unless you're in park on a 2014, am I able to connect the white wire into the reverse lights on the truck?

Red/Yellow wire doesn't need to be wired in if you originally had turn signal.
How did you make out? My 2015 GMC sierra 1500 had signals on the glass I bypassed that part and it didn't work I'm so confused

Hey, I’m having the same issue and was wondering if you found out what the issue was?
Would you recommend this method or using your harness on the website with the rzy harness?

@@boostautoparts is there any performance difference ? like do i get all the features on my mirrors with both?
@@itzssilent7741 Yes, you can obtain all of the same functionality

Hey I have a 2014 chevy silverado lt crew cab 4wd with no blinkers in the mirrors but what do I need to start
This would be the proper product and video.
Did the step by step of this video but the signal light on the back of the mirror doesn’t go on but the signal light on the actual mirror does work. Any idea on why this is happening? I have a 2015 Silverado LT
This is likely due to the way the mirrors are wired. Are the mirrors from us?
@@boostautoparts no they are not. I got them on Amazon but the wire harness looks the exact same as do the mirrors
@@BlackBailey818 the issue is based on the way the mirrors are wired. You would need to reach out to the mirror manufacturer for a resolution. Our mirrors would not have this issue.
Will this work on a 2018 Silverado the same way because the product date on boost auto parts says 2014-2015?
Yes, it will work on a 2018.
How do I do this if my mirrors already had turn signal on glass?
You just wouldn't need to run the red/yel wires. Give our team a call at 765-831-2830 with any questions.
Where can I buy the wiring harness at ?
boostautoparts.com/products/hardwire?GM%2015-19%20Hardwire%20Adapter&Comment&TH-cam
So why not just use the body harness you unplugged and pin it to pins 11 and 9. Easier that way.
That is an alternative method as well, but only for 15.5+ trucks. Check that out here: th-cam.com/video/hDQBOxc9Aug/w-d-xo.html
I have a 1/14 truck isn't it different from this
