Glad you back & feel better. Good review on another sedan going extinct, like the Altima,Malibu & others. With the market shift to trucks, suvs & crossovers, surprised they survived this long. Take care. Be well
Great daily driver. All the features you could want for real. Yea, the touchscreen stuff is a bit outdated but what do you really need? It's a great comfortable ride with good visibility, great turn radius and the allwheel drive is always useful if you're expecting snow in the winter. And the safety features come in real handy when you need to drive home drunk or sleepy.
Great review Kenny. For the money I think that is a great deal. It would be nice if Subie threw in the cheaper option package as standard but that's just my opinion. I haven't seen you for a minute and hope that you are doing well. Wishing you all the best always!
You can. For about $300, it’s and option even on the base. I have the 2025 legacy base. It’s a solid family car. Shines in the winter or heavy rains. MPG is ok for a non hybrid. Hybrid is great but it’s a totally different concept really. If you want a modern car, which heavily can still be worked on at home, the Legacy is it. Hybrids, not so easy for the home mechanic. It’s just simply a more complicated system. Fine for many folks, but I’m a guy who enjoys doing as much on my own vehicles as I can. Camry was our other option, but a higher starting price, and an inferior AWD system. Really the AWD was our main deciding factor. We live in the mountains and have been getting increasingly unpredictable winter storms.
🇺🇲 great look at the Subaru legacy it really is a shame it's being discontinued. I get the feeling if they would have just made this thing into a station wagon. Maybe lifted it a little bit. They would sell a ton of them. All kidding aside. Sedans seam to be making a slight comeback. They don't have the resources to flip the entire fleet over to Toyota's forth gen hybrid system. So the low selling legacy gets the axe.
Too bad another legacy goes away. With Honda and Toyota pumping out hybrid sedans at a fairly reasonable price. Subaru is caught behind the 8 ball. AWD no longer exclusive to subies took another bite out of sales.
I completely agree with the both of you. I put my daughter's in them. For a reason. Toyota is going to sell the the 4th gen hybrid system that will adapt to the flat 4. They just are not going to put it in the legacy.
@@truckercowboyed2638 I will also avoid other brands that do this. There are a few brands that still give physical buttons for all HVAC buttons when it comes to latest design language: Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Acura, and Mitsubishi, and I will therefore stick to only those five brands.
Glad you back & feel better.

Damn I actually like the Legacy! Would be a good city driver!
Great choice to review. It makes no sense why it doesn't sell. It's way better than a Corolla.
CVT transmission
You went through that video just like "normal" . . I'm glad you're feeling better.
Terrific review. 2 thumbs up. Stay level. Peace bro
Welcome back Kenny good job still waiting on you grabbing a ford ranger raptor
I’m glad you are back! I was worried about you.

I've already got the 2025 Outback Tourinng XT. Wouldn't trade it for anything else on the road.

Great review and I am really loved this sedan.
Too bad they are quitting the Legacy. I am on my second one. Guess I will have to switch brands when I need a new one in a few years. Don't like SUVs.
Great job & I better hurry up and buy this car.
I wish Subaru would also make front wheel drive vehicles. I would get this car if they did.
It is front wheel drive (and rear wheel drive). 😄
@@my3dviews i live in the deep South. I have no need for awd. Lol
I have the Outback and like the Legacy as well, can't help but wonder if the Legacy was lifted like the Outback f it would sell better.
Do you think you could fit a bicycle in the trunk if you took the front wheel off?
$28k! How is this car not popular for that price tag?! Shame it's being discontinued.
Make this a hybrid, 50 MPG, spare tire, and try to sell again ! ! !
Hello from phone screen land. Hope you are doing well.
Can I have fog lights installed without getting the option package?

That interior where too many things are baked into the touchscreen and hidden menus are not helping Subaru at all

Not all AWD cars are created equal.
But Subaru is the only one with symmetrical AWD there's a difference vs the one in the Camry hybrid.......

True but I doubt the average consumer knows or even cares. @@jimwilliams7136
Great car for drag racing 😢
Did Subaru specify the date for the final day of Subaru production? All I know is that production will cease some point in 2025, unlike the Malibu
A few touch to this car will make it sale like the Camry but Subaru don’t care. And that their own fault.
nice looking car. nothing to offend and it does look it like it will age well and I'm sure it's safe but tech and display looks old
we are poor. still want one tho
It's boring and uninspiring. No wonder it got the axe. Oh, well. R.I.P. to a car that can't live up to its Legacy.
My biggest problem with new Subarus is the poor ergonomics due to Subaru baking too many things into the touchscreen
It's a normal car it's not boring when I can get out on the snow covered roads.......
@@Blank00why other manufacturers do the same at least Subaru gives you physical climate controls
@@truckercowboyed2638 Normal is boring. It's a dorky ass car.

that touch screen is horrible. Total deal breaker for me.
Side profile looks like a Corolla. Hideous wheels and tiny tires.
Yikes
Those wheels suck imo
the higher trims get different wheels, but even those are arguably questionable depending on taste
Subie doesn’t do a very good job with their wheel designs
I disagree on the wheels. I have seen worse.
@@703Speed I personally like a lot of their 2-tone wheel designs, but the Legacy ones just don't quite do it for me.
It’s awful. Put it out its misery.
