    What a coincidence, I spent the day trying to come up with a light tackle system. I ended up just throwing everything back in my sling bag-lol I'm glad I came across your video, gave me a lot of good ideas on tackle management. Thank you! :)

    After coming back and watching video again I've decided to order the same bag. Pretty much using your setup as template very similar kit. I did consider using a cheaper alternative but ended up grabbing same bag as looks quality, right size and with the extra expandable section for some clothes etc I can potentially use this when going away travelling for couple of days. If need more space can always attach a smaller bag via the straps.

    Great video! Depending where you fish, I would add a small spool of the floating leader line fly fisherman use, say about 3lb or 4lb, and a couple small bubble floats...You could then fish bread on the surface should you happen to see any mullet nosing about....

      @@anglersbureau No I really enjoyed the video..I am trying to put a similar kit together myself, but I am struggling to keep it to a minimum..I particularly like the Lowepro sling bag...Do you have any idea of the model name/number please?

    That bag looks great, really well designed.
    I noticed you had one or two vib baits - I have found Eco Gear ZX lures to be very productive on the rock marks in North Wales. They’re something a little different, but seem to catch bass, pollack, wrasse, mackerel, etc

      Thanks a lot. As for the vib baits, I've only cast them a few times just to see their action, but I haven't properly fished with them yet - something iI should get round to!

      Is a 6ft rod ok for Pollock off rock marks do you think??

    im looking at a telescopic trout rod from shakespeare - up to 10g casting, 7ft. if i used this with 4lb line, i know i could catch flounder, but what about pollock and mackerel?? also, whats your opinions on aliexpress lures (cheapo soft plastics)

    hi mate, would a 7-21g rod be ok for trout in rivers/streams on lures??? thanks

    • @anglersbureau
      @anglersbureau  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi, I’d say so, but I’m basing this on what you’re likely to catch in a UK situation. You could go lighter still, but a 7-21g rod might help for slightly larger fish.

      Yeah it's just because I want to dropshot for flounder or Pollock in the sea as well. What lures could I use with this rod? I mean i don't think you have to cast far in a small stream so could I just use a small mepps?
      Also, would a 6ft rod be ok for fishing off rock marks in the sea?
      Thanks and great vid. Looks so much more fun and easy than bait fishing
